As the spouse of the individual who would be driving a 12 passenger van, I made the reservation under my husbands name. I dropped him off at the airport on 6/20/2026 along with our family friend who was going to be the additional driver on the reservation. I gave him my credit card to pay but he called me to say that they couldn't except it because it did not have his name on it. So our friend offered to pay with her card. In all fairness I did not disclose the rate to them thinking I confirmed the reservation amount so there would be no problem. The attendant, which we later found out, created a whole seperate reservation for her therefore charging her $200/day for a 6 day trip instead of honoring the rate I was quoted which was $85/day. When I found out later the rate being charged I contacted the location and customer service and kept getting the same response; nothing can be done until the account closes. The account has closed and now we are being told that nothing can be done because our friend signed the agreement. IF I had known there was going to be a whole seperate account created at such a high amount I would have gladly driven to the location to provide a card in my husbands name. Not only did they over charge the rate, they charged us for all kinds of insurance when the only one we wanted was the one that would protect the vehicle in the event of an accident. She told the attendant what we needed, he told her to sign and she did not thinking she would be charged for unnecessary coverage. Lastly, we filled the tank up with gas (took a picture to show) and still got charged $171.71.
Desired outcome: Would like them to honor the original reservation rate, remove the extra insurance charges, and refund the fuel amount.
