Bob Evans - Hostile environment / harassment

I have been feeling very unappreciated for trying to do my part in being a team. I am treated as though I am not doing my part by several others. I was told tonight by another server that three other people have told her that I said how I wasn't told how to do something and I was yelled at as though I am a liar and that person claims they will watch me do it and she will make me do it right. First, I said nothing about how I wasn't told how to do it. I stated that I didn't realize I wasn't doing it to everybody's satisfaction. Also, I was unaware that three people were ganging up to start crap about me. I am very new to the team, but I have never said "I wasn't told how to do it" that is unprofessional and false. I don't point fingers with blame, and I don't like knowing that others are saying negative things about me among several staff. I am trying my best and to be yelled at by another employee that she will make me do it right seems quite like harassment. If the team is calling me out, then I cannot work in that type of hostile environment. I told the manager tonight as I was doing my share of work that I will not be continuing to work there after tonight. I will not be back to have someone else yell at me and make it seem as though they are expecting me to kiss their butts and allow them to talk about me in such a manner. I told the manager I thought an apology from that person is in order to make me consider staying. He said he is going to talk to them. After he spoke to them nothing was said to me let alone an apology. I was deliberately snubbed, and that person left without saying another thing. I will not work with people who are nasty and backstabbing. I had worked for this company before with very fond memories, but this attitude will keep me from working, let alone eating at such a place. I am very disappointed as I had hoped I could add to the moral of the team but instead I am treated as less then worthy. I am thanked daily by the clientele that eat at the establishment. The customers generally have a warm and inviting aura however several staff make it cold and negative. If I could just do the job for the customer's happiness I would gladly stay. Unfortunately this is not the case.

This is exactly what I was going through I brought my concerns to management and I got treated as if I did something wrong my hours went down my one morning Sunday got taken and given to the person that I actually issued to one of the employees that is head of the teaming up to bully community there. Plus, I had been there longer then her but because she was one for the favorites Friend’s she got special privileges. I had to endure watching someone who didn’t deserve special treatment gain some of my hours that were cut plus get my Sunday morning. So, I was now being indirectly harassed. On my second day of training I was called a f*** idiot for putting ice in apple juice I heard her say it under her breath and these are the employees being trusted to be a leader by being given a postion to train. I should of known that day this was going to be horrible environment to work in or the occasional employee that would try to let others no there was no use complaining about management because her husband knew someone in corporate and she would not get into trouble for anything. Give it a few years and I forsee many Bob Evans shutting down between the influx’s of customer complaints as well as employees complaints and nothing ever being done.

There is an employee of Bob Evans who works in the logistic department of transportation that is harassing my niece who lives in Troy, Ohio and had briefly dated him to the point that she is in fear. he has sliced her tires on eight different occasions and those of visitors to her house. Stalking her, sending false information to her job trying to get her fired then sending flowers and food to her house offering and also to take her on expensive trips. He is cunning to the point the police who have been notified have not been able to catch him in the act. He goes so far as to buying burner phones to call and harass her. Her family feels he is unbalanced because of his actions and concerned for her wellbeing.
