Bluegreen Vacations review: HGV Plus and diamond owner member

Jan 20, 2025 I attended an owner membership review presentation at the Fountains Resort. I upgraded to HGV Plus after the sales presentation regarding program updates. One of the benefits touted was the ability to transfer unused Bluegreen points into Hilton Honors Points program as was previously done with transferring unused points into the Choice Privileges program for Choice Hotels. When it came time to transfer unused points, I was informed that only future points may be transferred into the Hilton Honors system. If I wasn't a HGV Plus member I could transfer points into Choice. I am unable to use points at this time and probably not in any future years because of a medical issue. My Diamond Ownership level and HGV Plus is unencumbered by any liens or mortgage. I have been stonewalled by Bluegreen representatives when I have asked to speak to a senior level corporate VP in owner services to address my issues. I am prepared to quit claim my deeded property at the Fountains back to Bluegreen and exit my ownership after 25 years.
