I placed an order with a guaranteed same-day delivery date. About six hours later, I received an email stating the following.

We are writing to inform you that we are experiencing some difficulty with our supplies as we did not receive the necessary deliveries. To avoid further delays, we have decided to have the items made by our partner florist. However, this has resulted in an additional cost of , but as compensation, we have rendered our profit for this order. We only need an additional to proceed with the delivery. We will substitute a Designer's Choice Floral Arrangement in a vase.
To ensure timely processing and secure your items, we kindly ask you to approve the additional amount by completing your payment through the link provided in the initial email we sent to you *****.
Once the payment is completed, we will proceed with fulfilling your order immediately. Please reply to this message as soon as you can so that we can prioritize your order. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

I paid the requested price, and it is not my responsibility to solve their problem of not having the correct supplies available. Not my job, and indeed not my responsibility to pay the excess fee. I canceled my order after numerous bot emails (including them emailing me to ask for my email). They said they would refund me within six days. Unacceptable time frame, and I may go ahead and dispute the charge.
I would HIGHLY recommend that no one use this company. Their practices are beyond suspicion: bait and switch.
