Florist One Funeral arrangement

I wish I checked the reviews before placing order.

I ordered a funeral arrangement on late Monday Aug. 28 to be delivered on August 30. They said that once order is fullfilled, picture or proof of delivery will be sent to text/email. On August 30, I did not receive any proof of delivery. I contactee them but their customer service closed. I reacher out again, I received a text right away that they will contact local shop to find out. I finally received a notification that my order wasn’t fullfilled due to unforseen circumtance and asked if I wanted to reschedule. If I didn’t reach out, I would not know that my order was not delivered. I wish more people would review this business so none would be in my situation.

Desired outcome: I called and asked for refund. I did have a cancellation confirmation but I would need to wait 2-3 days to see if they will refund me.

Florist One Funeral service flower arrangements

ordered a week in advance. was notified the day of funeral. After funeral ended that flowers will not be delivered.

Not only putting a bad reputation on the company I work for but the company we purchased the flowers from.

Our company has numerous employees and we buy arrangements for each one who is dealing with loss.

Florist one highly disappointed this entire company and the family of those who have lost loved ones.

We will ensure this company and our sister companies no longer use florist one in the future.

Communication was extremely late on florist one part. Very unprofessional

Desired outcome: I have already requested a refund. There is nothing else they could do to make the situation right at this time. I am uninterested in using this company again.

Florist One Flower arrangement/ plant misrepresentation false advertising

Re: order # [protected] (original), but also saw order # [protected]

Dear FloristOne Consumer Complaint Division:

On March 15, 2023, I purchased the two arrangements detailed below, for delivery to [stepdad] room #xxx at [hospital name] located at address, city, state, zip. I paid $189.27 online by credit card and submitted the order before the1:00 pm ET same day delivery cut off time.

• FRENCH GARDEN Item No: C23-4886 for $79.95

• Beloved Bouquet Item No: C18-4858 for $79.95

Issues/complaints:

1. MISREPRESENATION: What I ordered compared to what was delivered is UNACCEPTABLE. The arrangement and plant look nothing like the website pictures, and under the ‘Delivery Information’ tab for each of the products, it read “Same day delivery is available for orders placed before 1:00 PM in the recipient’s time zone”. I paid $79.95 for a measly sad looking funeral potted plan, when online, the French Garden was described as “the perfect gift for any occasion! With a mix of indoor foliage plants, this basket dish garden will show how much you care, even if you can't be there in person.” Then I got scammed again by paying another $79.95 for what appeared to be beautiful ‘Beloved bouquet’ that I spent all morning looking online to find. FloristOne had a wonderful selection, however arrangements and plants were pricey, but I thought they would be well-worth the money for my stepdad fighting cancer and having just gotten out of surgery a few days prior. Thought it would brighten his day from our family.

Online, the description for the beloved bouquet is “…with this ravishing display! Lovely lavender roses, green carnations, green hypericum berries, purple stock, green button poms and lush greens are delicately gathered in a clear cubed vase lined with variegated leaves to complete this sophisticated look.” The actual delivered product contained zero lavender roses. In fact, I think there were only 3 total white roses in the entire bouquet. It contained no green carnations, no hypericum berries, green button poms or lush greens and was presented in a terrible cheap looking cylinder vase, not in a clear cubed vase lined with leaves like ordered. To top it off, it lacked complete sophistication with the cheap ugly baby’s breath.

2. NOT DELIVERED NOTIFICATION: Less than two hours after receiving my order confirmation email, I received an “Order Not Delivered” notification as follows “We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, your arrangement going to MULTIPLE ITEMS / RECIPIENTS was unable to be made delivered. We will be happy to reschedule your delivery for another day. Or if you prefer, we can cancel your order and process a full refund.” To try and rectify, I had to text the company right away asking if they couldn’t deliver same day of order, could they please deliver both the following day. Within 30 minutes, I received a confirmation “Your order has been rescheduled for delivery on 3/16/23. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.”

3. DISREGARD TO DETAILS / FALSE ADVERTISING: I was very specific in the ‘Special Delivery Instructions’ the colors and arrangement style should be as close to the online picture as possible, being that I wanted those specific colors and masculine sophisticated look. This note was completely disregarded. Furthermore, I did not check the box to allow substitutions and am still dissatisfied with the value and quality of my order.

Unfortunately, your flower arrangement and plant (products) are completely misrepresented.

To resolve the problem, I would appreciate a full refund in the amount of $189.27. I can provide evidence of my receipts and picture of what I ordered compared to what was delivered, concerning this purchase.

I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. I will wait March 25, 2023, before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or other assistance. Please contact me for full resolution at the phone and email on file with this order.

Desired outcome: To resolve the problem, I would appreciate a full refund in the amount of $189.27. I can provide evidence of my receipts and picture of what I ordered compared to what was delivered, concerning this purchase.

Florist One Funeral Flowers

I placed an order for funeral the Tuesday before the funeral, they were to be delivered on Friday afternoon. I received an email on Saturday that the Flowers would not be able to be delivered. I was offered 5 free trees to be planted. I don’t trust that, it’s just a piece of paper. I asked for a full refund and a credit memo to use to reconcile my company credit card. It has been over 12 working days and no refund or credit memo. I have called and emailed the service department with no response.

Florist One Flower company?? More like Fraud! Scam! Fake! Thieves!!~ Stay AWAY!

Just as everyone else reported, I ordered flowers for a wake.. I ended up attending the wake when I initially wasn't going to go. My flowers were NOT there. This was not someone who had a lot of people show up, nor did she have much family. There were maybe 2 other flower arrangements...and mine were NOWHERE to be found. I contacted Florist One the next day and was told "they were confirmed delivered." I realized quickly something wasn't right and after googling discovered I was one of MANY people who had been scammed. The funeral home confirmed there was no delivery and even checked their security footage.

The fact these people can look themselves in the mirror after playing off of peoples grief is beyond me. There is a special place in hell for people like that. So- STAY AWAY.

I have their IP address and have turned all of the information over to the authorities. Hopefully they shut them down quickly.

Desired outcome: For them to go to jail.

Florist One Flower delivery

Made an order to have flowers delivered to a friend! Order went through they took my money so I thought everything was good. Come Valentine’s Day I get a text at 1:00 p.m. saying that my order would not be delivered and that I was getting a refund. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if I would have known earlier to call and figure something else out. But being that late in the day no ther options were available and with me being a stare away there was nothing I could do. So yeah ruined my valentines the sent me an email for a review. I left a review but have yet to get a response or apology from them.. I would never recommend them to anyone ever.

Desired outcome: Don’t need an outcome unless they can turn back time and keep from ruining the day

Florist One Failure to do what they advertise

Florist One should NOT be advertised on funeral websites or in business at all. We ordered a beautiful $200+ spray for an employees wife's funeral and I received an email that they were NOT delivered. Based on other complaints here and on BBB, I should of done my research first and avoided them at all cost. I know they will reply and blame the local florist which is a pathetic and cheap excuse. I didn't order them on their website, I ordered them through YOURS which makes FLORIST ONE ultimately responsible. How did you determine that 11:46 AM was not enough time to get flowers delivered? My heart breaks for this situation. You didn't let down a family, you let down an entire company that was sending condolences to a fellow co-worker. Tragic and disgusted.

Desired outcome: They will offer to have them sent to the house or refunded but really nothing can correct this. They shouldn't even be in business. Just a 3rd party website taking advantage of people grieving and money from local businesses.

Florist One Plant order

I order a plant for a funeral. The plant was ordered on a Tuesday the delivery date was for Thursday. I received text on Wednesday that they could not deliver to funeral home due to the fact they had to many orders. I changed to home address and a Friday delivery, once again they took order and money and informed me Friday they couldn't deliver to Saturday on Saturday I received email stating they couldn't deliver and they refunded my money. This is unacceptable. I will never order from them again.

Florist One Flowers not delivered

I live in Iowa and ordered flowers to be delivered for a funeral in MS. I had a funny feeling that this was not going to be delivered. I received a text saying they would be at the church on the 10th of September. I called two hours before the funeral and they said they can't be delivered. I would have never known this unless I would have called. Very bad way to do business. I now have no way of getting something to my family on such short notice, Terrible business.

Florist One Flowers for Cemetery

Very disappointed with my recent order.

1. Specially requested for a photo to be provided upon delivery as I ordered flowers to be sent to a cemetery. Completely ignored my request and was not able to provide any proof of delivery.

2. Cannot even provide a photo of the flowers prior to delivery. How do I even know if the flowers actually got delivered? Spent over $100 on flowers that I did not even know if they actually got delivered and if they were placed at the right grave. I just wanted some proof to show that the flowers were placed to my loved one's grave. Unfortunately, this simple request cannot even be actioned accordingly.

3. I have already raised my concerns with Florist One customer service and I did not get a satisfactory response. All they said was no photos and no proof of delivery.

Desired outcome: Photos of flowers at the graveside showing the flowers were in fact delivered.

Florist One Flowers for a funeral

I ordered a cross flower arrangement for a funeral on a Tuesday. I watched the funeral on-line and did not see my flowers. Si I called the funeral home at 4pm and was told that my arrangement never came. I called Florist One at 4:30pm and no one answered the phone. Then I get an email at 8pm that my arrangement was delivered. Well the funeral was at 2pm that day (not at 8pm) and the funeral home was closed at 6pm.

I called them first the the next morning and they told me I got the confirmation that the flowers were delivered at 8pm the night before. I told them that the funeral was at 2pm. Then I asked them, how would they deliver my arrangement at 8pm to a closed funeral home? Plus the funeral was already over by then and it defeated the purpose of having the flowers on the day of the funeral home...I had to fight for over 2 weeks to get a refund...I will never use them again

Florist One Customer Service

Anyone ever see that episode of “Curve your enthusiasm” where Larry opens a “Spite Shop”….these people right here.

I requested a change of delivery first thing Monday morning requesting that they deliver anytime on Mon instead of Tues due to a change of schedule. Florist One emailed back prompt at 10:41 saying they were contacting the local florist to make the change which I thanked them. Allegedly the local florist never replied back to them I learned when I finally decided to follow up with them (instead of them following up with me) when I called to ask later towards the evening about the status. The lack effort/follow up on their part doesn't work for me. Do yourself a favor and just go shop your local florist and cut out the middle man.

I placed this review on Google, however coincidentally the review got left on the actual local florists page by my mistake. The small business owner replied saying that they did receive my order, however Florist One never sent the change request although they told me they had blaming it on the small business owner.

We believe you may have meant to leave the review with florist one? We received your order from them, to fulfill. Unfortunately we did not receive a change of date from them so we are not sure what happened with communications. We are a real local florist brick and mortar in Jonesboro. We would disagree on this 1 star review as this was not in our control. In any case, we just wanted to respond to your review.”

Desired outcome: Warm people to consider going direct with their florist vs using a big business that dose not care about its customers.

Florist One Flowers sent to my daughter for her birthday

I recently, April 14th 2022, had delivered a bouquet of flowers to Bourgess Hospital to the Operating Room for my daughters birthday. What I ordered and what was sent was absolutely UNEXCEPTIONABLE! I paid $93.00 for this beautiful bouquet of Roses that I spent all morning looking on-line trying to find the perfect flowers. Florist One had, by far, the best selection! They we’re pricey, but I thought they would be well- worth the money, just to see her reaction to the beautiful Rose bouquet! Instead, I got an arrangement that consisted of 3 roses, 3 carnations and 2 daisies. None that even remotely matched. I did receive a text the day before saying they would like to do a designers choice arrangement because they were going to have to improvise. I said okay, as long as they are roses and bright! Their response was okay, thank you! This was such an embarrassment to have these hideous flowers delivered to her place of employment. She work with highly respectable surgeons and other staff. They definitely know the back story on these ridiculous flowers and the disappoint of my daughters flowers. But by all means…… they want “to make it better” by refunding me the service fee! Ha, ha! $16.99! That is a joke! All the flowers alone in that arrangement, didn’t add up to anything close to $93.00! Please, please, anyone who wants flowers sent to a loved one on a special day! DO NOT USE FLORIST ONE! They are a joke! Read the reviews, and by all means, make your own decision, based on the reviews!

Florist One Florist

I purchased flowers and delivery for Valentines day from Terry's florist in Riverview, Florida for LaVita Rodriguez, a Riverview resident.

They were never delivered.

They insist they delivered them directly to LaVita.

They lied and shut me down completely.

They are scammers, and are not FTD affiliated.

LaVita was fighting for her life. She has cancer.

Florist One Florist one didn’t deliver flowers

Ordered flowers on 3/1/22 for delivery before 5:30pm on 3/2/22. Didn’t do it. Asked if it could be delivered next day said yes. Sent me an email that they couldn’t do it. Talked to customer service at 5pm that day they said they could do it and reissued order. Didn’t do it. I sent an email asking for 50% refund and flowers delivered to their home. They sent me an email they are refunding my money. My people never received their flowers.

Same exact thing happened to me! I ordered a Traditional Floor Basket of cut flowers to be delivered to the funeral home, this was last year in 2021. Order number-[protected], I ordered at 7:20am on Saturday 7/21/21 for the Sunday funeral service at 3:30pm-32 hours & 10 minutes later! They said guaranted [same day] delivery, if ordered before 1pm.

My wife & I wasn't able to attend the service, but asked a friend to look out for our flowers. THEY WERE'T THERE!

I wrote several emails back & forth, finally was refunded by money. A PISS POOR apology! My advice--NEVER use this MICKEY MOUSE outfit again!

I have heard online many, many of the very same complaints from others[Funeral Home NEVER received the ordered flowers]!

This company needs to be put out of business!

I now order my flowers DIRECTLY from FTD, and so should everyone else!

Florist One Flowers never arrived, nor was I contacted

I placed an online order (received order confirmation) on Monday for a Friday spray delivery to the mortuary and today Friday, we are sitting at the services and realize there are no flowers. I contacted the Florist and they just said they couldn’t do the order. So instead of contacting me to let me know they waited until I realized it?! If I hadn't gone to the services, I would have not known! They had no excuse when I called them back, I guess they couldn’t find a local florist that could do the order! I feel so embarrassed with the family, definitely not a florist you want to rely on or order from!

Florist One Lied / no delivery of flowers

I called 12/24 it stated same day delivery then got cancelled called them back needed the flowers sent to funeral home Mon 12/27 by 10am lady I spoke to confirmed it was good to go. Even got a confirmation. By 11am yesterday no flowers had them on speaker and they cancelled me while I was on the phone. Even the funeral director was upset. I will never reccomend this company. EVER. This was so disappointing no flowers nothing.

Florist One False advertising

I ordered a housewarming gift for a friend who lives a long way off. I specifically ordered a live plant and picked it out from the website. I placed my order in good faith approximately 2 and 1/2 weeks before it was needed to be delivered. No excuse not to be on time or have the right plant in the proper place. I even requested that if the plant could not be delivered on the exact day requested that it be delivered a day early. I was charged $133. On the day it was to be delivered I was informed by Florist One the plant was not available and they wanted to substitute a dish garden. No! To not miss the house warming I had to accept an inferior plant I would never have picked. My gift was a day late. This is a poor way to run a business. I talked to the florist who delivered the plant and was told that this happens all the time because Florist One are order takers sitting in a cubicle and are not florist at all. I will never do business with them again and suggest no one else should either.

Desired outcome: There is no way to compensate for embarrassment and failure.

I do not think a company that shows photos on the internet of product, and advertises a certain price should be allowed to operate if they cannot deliver. Whatever happened to the Interstate Trace Commission? Basically these people are stealing from consumers.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
