I have been a donor for about 9 months now. My name is Sean Aiken. I go to the Savannah Ga. center. On Friday Jan . 20, I was five minutes late for my appointment due to traffic, was turned away. Now it is Sunday the 22nd, I'm 5 minutes early and am not aloud to sign in because was told your closed at 1:57 pm. I live in Pooler Ga., it is a bit of a drive...

BioLife Plasma Services BioLife personally being inconsiderate and pushy.

I've been donating for a few months, and donate most of the proceeds to charitable orgs. Twice i've had to endure 3-4 needle sticks in one sitting, with the staff insisting to swap arms. This severely bruises my arms to the point where I cannot donate within a few days. The head nurse and another nurse were completely unprofessional with me following these incidents. Insisting that I eat snacks that I indicated that I cannot have, accused of being difficult, and told twice that I do not listen... And that if I do not comply, then I will not be able to donate. I was also told that he had me "marie" for the only other incident that occurred for the same issue. The two bad needle sticks resulted in the machines not being able to process the blood. It also causes the patient pain. All they wanted to do was get everything they could from me that they could. Very unprofessional... And I will be on all social media to inform potential customers of what to expect from this organization. I was treated as an alcoholic and drug user type personality, and it's sad! Thank you for the time. I will be reporting to all social media and the bbb.

Desired outcome: Make folks aware that this isn't in in and out process that they describe. And that they will be subject to severe bruising and infection issues.

BioLife Plasma Services No working coupon codes

I want to donate again but I want to use a returning donor coupon but the only coupons I can find are new donor coupons I have found returning donor coupons but when I put them in the app it says not found I don't want to go in and then get all the pretests done and not have a working returning donor coupons cause then I won't be considered a returning donor Where do you find returning donor coupons that really work? So I won't go back until I get the right coupon it's ridiculous

BioLife Plasma Services Criminal acts they do not prosecute

I am a donor in Oklahoma City's facility my car was damaged by another donor intentionally and yet BioLife refuses to give up the video so that I can prosecute the man who damaged my vehicle. But then I find out that the two workers who were Amazed by another donor we're not allowed to prosecute either. So my question is why do you allow criminals to get away with crimes at your facility my daughter works there her car was hit you refuse to give video so that she can prosecute the person who her hit her car. People that work there are getting assaulted and maced by other donors and no one is doing anything why is this okay I understand HIPAA laws but HIPAA laws shouldn't matter when you commit a crime against others.

Desired outcome: I want the footage to press charges on the donor who damaged my car

BioLife Plasma Services Malpractice and no solution

I donate Monday 01/09/2023 at 7:00pm in this location 1301 E Osceola Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34744 wen I got service one girl help me I do t remember her name she can’t find my vein in my right arm she try different angles she hurt me a little but she can’t find the veins ,when she call her friend Karina she try again but this time Karina hurt me even more and I let her now that what she is doing is hurting me and she continue when she finish hurting my arm she proceeded to use the other arm but at that time I couldn’t move my right arm, i was unable to work for 4 days my arm was immobile and in terrible pain and i lost 600 dollars income because of a bad procedure, I try to talk to the manager and she said that the questions in the beginning is letting me know this maybe occur and I let her know this is only a mal practice because they make the wrong decision they can use ma other arm instead of hurt me and this can be more dangerous if they don’t hired experience and professional workers.

January 10th, I've come in for the past month now, and the bathroom is very nasty. Unkempt. Poorly. No toilet paper. Trash all on the floors. Smells. One toilet doesn't even work. Another doesn't even lick. But why my complaint for today is the one if the nurses are talking about other donors in front of donors to another employee I feel as it's rude and inconsiderate, especially while on duty. (working).

This is the 3rd time I have tried to donate and have been denied all 3 times, why? Because of a Dr note. 1st time I was told just needed a note, got that nope not good enough needed biolifes forms filled out, did that nope now biolifes Dr needed to review them and he is only in on Wednesdays, It takes me 30 minutes one way to get to biolife and nobody let...

BioLife Plasma Services Scam

They have a $1000 in 8 donations coupon when you go in if they can only find one vein they tell you that they cannot take you even though any other plasma's location can take you with 1 good vain then they tell you when you come up next the coupon has expired so you never get that $1000 they drop it down from a 110 for your 1st visit to $70 for your blood No way my blood is worth way more than that! Great customer service but bad scam going on here!

BioLife Plasma Services being deferred indefinitely over false test results

i was deferred indefinitely about 14 years ago was never told why. went back a few years ago and found out it was do to a testing for something medically that i have never in my life been diagnosed with. I would like to know how to get this fixed i have medical records to prove i have never had this medical condition and i would like to be able to donate again.

At bloomington location, never had problem until one day very rude ginger nurse i’d never met yelled at me for being on my phone…. As if anyone cares and as if everyone else donating wasn’t also on their phone. If she speaks to me again i’ll be taking my blood to csl in the future. Every other nurse here has always been kind but she was incredibly rude and publicly humiliated me.

BioLife Plasma Services Customer service

Worst customer service ever! Will never ever go back. Manager at my center just thinks you are a piece of crap. Asked for a District Manager to call me and explain to me about an issue and was told by [censored]'t manager that since I need to speak with a D.M. I was not welcomed back to biolife because of their serious mistake and it sounds like instead of getting reprimanded for the mistake it would be easier for them just to deny this loyal donor from coming back just because I wanted to speak to someone higher outside the location because they could not provide me the information on my issue. Terrible and treats you like you are way below them.

Desired outcome: A call from an executive, not someone from the location.

BioLife Plasma Services Nurse named Karen

I decided too try BIOLIFE as I got a promotion and needed the money badly. It took me 30 mins too get to the place and another 2 hours too get registered and I had too see the nurse after all that she denied me too donate over my medications that are not on roster or the list to deny me. I’ve been on the same medications for a long time I’ve donated at CSL for the past two months on the same medication. I asked her too print me out the list she said she seen it on too show me and she denied me. I feel she was being biased because I take opiates. I’m very upset. She cost me $500 for 4 visits! I’d like too get paid.

Desired outcome: I would like financial reimbursement

BioLife Plasma Services Unaware of doctor note needed

Today on Christmas Eve I got up early and I went in for my second donation for the week which everyone knows is the biggest payout day and to my surprise they told me I was not able to donate without having my doctor sign a note. Well first I knew about this being needed! It takes me a half hour to get to Biolife so wasted time and wasted gas plus spending 20 minutes in 10 degree weather waiting for doors to open. Plus not to mention I was counting on that money for Christmas! I have been a loyal donor for several years now and so very disappointed!

Desired outcome: Please pay me my 2nd donation money I missed out on today. ($100)

First off, I absolutely love the staff at the St. Peters, MO location. They work insanely hard and are always kind. However, as far as reaching my bonuses I'm beginning to see a pattern. I've been going to this location since 2018. I just surpassed my 350th donation there. I've noticed every 3-6 months always the last week of the month, I get a phone call...

BioLife Plasma Services Blood test

They totally f___ed up my blood test. Either the staff or the lab that tested my blood must have cross contaminated or mixed up my sample. They sent me a letter indicating I was HIV positive. Fortunately I followed up with my primary care doctor and everything tested NEGATIVE. They also reported their false results to the health department. Now I have to get that fixed. They cost me more than it was worth. BE CAREFUL people. Oh and by the way, I am not gay, I have never used IV drugs and have been faithfully married to the same person for over 30 years. These kinds of mistakes could end relationships

I filed two complaints on 12/16/2022 and 12/18/2022. I further emailed a summary of both complaints on 12/18/2022. I then called and filed on the phone with a reference number:

I feel I am being ignored by not receiving a timely responce of any sort from BioLife Plasma Services, while I continue to lose compensation per week. I am being force to use outside sources to remedy unprovoked Sexual Harassment and Malicious Intent toward me in a business environment. It appears I was taken seriously at the time or now after I reported on 11/05/2022 or now after filing four Complaints over the same issue. I should not be expected to wait on procrastination while loosing continually further compensation.

BioLife Plasma Services Permanent deferred because I had to pee

The Fargo location in Fargo North dakota. I had in abnormally long egregious weight to be hooked up to the machine. After basically being told to just sit and don't move for half an hour 40 minutes. Finally get hooked up to the machine. I make it to right around 250 ml and I really had to go to the bathroom very badly. Couldn't take it so I asked if I could be disconnected. To which I was told that I am now permanently deferred because I had three early disconnects in 2 months. And then they preached and claimed that I make it so they can't do their job? I have watched them cut staff in half. The staff that remains are callous snotty. Less than helpful. Treat donors like crap. And love to threaten with deferrals. I am totally fine with switching to West Fargo or Moorhead locations. I just don't see why I have to be punished with a permanent deferral. When after speaking with the nurse the nurse said she saw no reason why I should be deferred. So this is purely management abusing power. For no reason

Desired outcome: I would like to have the permanent deferral dropped. I would like to be able to still donate at West Fargo and Moorhead locations. I will not go back to Fargo location.

BioLife Plasma Services Sexual harassment by an employee/verbal and conduct abuse by management.

On 11/05/2022 I was finishing out a promotion and I was contacted by Biolife for the promotion. It was my 7th donation out of 8 for the promotion. At the screening I was first asked during the 7th donation my name and last 4# of my ss# by a Male employee. I State Richard Collins and the last 4#. He then asked me, " Do people call you Dick?" and he and a famale employee standing next to he and two donors behind me all began to laugh. My reply was a shooked longated No. This made me feel uncomfortable, angry and sad all at the same time. I am 61 years old and sitting there while much younger staff and much younger donors are making fun of me. During the donation and kept thinking about it, I quietly reported to the attendant that prepared me for the donation. She too laughed and I ask to speak to a supervisor. As she explained the issue to the Floor Lead across the room from me, they both laughed. She then came over to me and asked for my concern. When I told her, she left the floor and came back then stated the Male employee that said that to me was spoken too and after I finish donating to see the Manager. The manage state in part in her office, the I was taking the issue too hard and that Dick is another name for Richard. Then what was so funny about asking me about a nick name if sexual intent was not behind the question? Everyone laughted at me.

Today 12-16-2022 I went back and lost the last compensation on my 8th donation on the promotion. When I tried to donate a message on the screen said see staff before continuing. The same Manager blocked my donatetion process to take my back to the same office and stated that she wanted to discuss my Attitude from my last visit and said I was unprofessional on how I handle the entire issue. The issue was not taken seriously when I first reported it, to where I asked for the names of the all 4 staff member and I was refused. I called the police to retrieve the names and after an hour I called back and an Officer was injured on another call and I canceled the call. I dialed [protected] twice and my calls was dated and verifiable. This is the briefest I can be due to the fact a lot more insults where made toward me even after I dropped the issue and now I am blocked by the Manager from donating as I continue to lost more compensation if I don't agreed with the Managers point of view. I will seek legal assistance if a solution or remedy is not conculsive. Center Location: 813 Bethal Rd. Columbus Ohio

Both times are approximately between 3 and 6 pm. est.

There is a lot more that happened then what was stated here.

No cuss words at all where exchanged by either side or by anyone. The same Floor Lead was present during my first office visit and a Supervisor the second office visit.

Desired outcome: I want compensation for all issues. Sexual Harassments and ill treatment by all that was involved including punitive damage, due to conduct.

As I explained in an early complaint on 12/16/2022 about the conduct of staff and management. I want to further explain that I was asked after the completion of my donation on 11/05/2022 to see the manager on duty in her office before leaving. The floor lead I first reported it to and the manager were both present when I complied to their request. As I calmly explained for the third time as the issue was being softened and rationalize by both staff members. I became irritated due to I should not have been brought back into the office again on 12/16/2022. The issue was reported to two other staff members, one being a floor lead. I am now banned and block from the center because I rised my voice while in a private office where no other person in the center could hear me. I did not use profanity and I was aggravated by repeating how it made me feel. I should not have had to listen to irrelevant, possible reasons why I was ask if people call me Dick? That is not part of the screening process and then laughing afterwards along with 3 others and then more laughing when I reported it by two more staff members. It is a clear indication the intent behind the question. I was notified for months by Biolife to donate with several promotions attached. Then when I compy, I am Verbally Sexually harassed and banned because the Manager needed me to comply with undermining the content of the intent. When I didn't comply and after being further provoked by the issue that should not been brought back to my attention on 12/16/2022, 41 days later after a Sexual insinuation was layed to rest. I raised my voice not excessively or threating, but at times from being interrupted, having to speak over deaf ears and irrational possible explainations of why I was asked the question in the first place when the reason was very clear from the reaction after the question was asked and the people I reported it to. I was told by the Manager if I don't listen to her further "leave" her words "have an nice day" after she ruined my day again intentionally. She abused her position by blocking my next visit, asking me to act professional in a trade I am not trained in. Even in a court of law Judges, Attorneys and the accused raise their voices when provoked and she deliberately provoke me to band me, because she know she was wrong with how it was handled it on day one. She did it Maliciously for Revenge, by taking a close issue and bring it back to my attention knowing how I felt about from our first encounter.

BioLife Plasma Services poor treatment

i have been a loyal donor for about 2 years...my last session i was given a form for my heart doctor to fill out,at one time had a irregular heartbeat,when i gave back, he had listed...from my health history...i have had, over 5 years ago,minor skin cancer (squamous cell carcinoma )also with my last physical only few weeks before i was given a prescription for advorastin, and unforunately i didnt disclose these,the skin cancer was minor and YEARS ago...opun seeing this the VERY RUDE older nurse with blonde hair, said i was Not a Trustworty person and i didnt care about the well being of donating , so terminated me from donating any longer...this is NOT a way to speak to people...

Desired outcome: if nothing can be done for me..as i would like to continue to donate...wanted to express had disgusted i felt being spoke to that way !!...i am 62, and ALWAYS considered myself TRUSTWORTY and was DISGRACEFUL the way i was spoke to...

BioLife Plasma Services biolife plasma livonia, michigan

Was providing plasma donations to Bio Life in Livonia, MI. First two visits were fine donating. On third visit once the needs was inserted a hematoma formed in right arm. Put ice on it and wrapped. Used left arm for donotion and for 4 and 5 donations. On [protected] I had a 6:45am appointment. Tech inserted needle in left arm for donotion and didn’t put it in right so he pulled it out. Then goes to my right arm and I told him I had a hematoma on that arm two weeks ago. Taps the needle anyways. 25% into plasma process blood starts coming out where needle is and a large bump forms on my arm. I had to get the techs attention that I was bleeding. He pulls the needle out and wraps my arm. Calls nurse (who took her time) and tech starts taking vitals on me. Another tech says that’s not necessary and my tech stops taking second round of vitals. Then nurse comes by and just says put ice in it and she didn’t know you didn’t have to take vitals. The. Told I had to stay there for 30 minutes, which I did, no looked at my arm again nor any followup.

Desired outcome: I was butchered.
