My name is Timothy Short. I have been a loyal customer since Best Buy opened in my area. I have spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy. last year I purchased a desk top computer with printer and copier. I used my Best Buy credit card at the Best Buy on 436 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. I also purchased an Apple watch for my son. With the watch they asked if I wanted to add insurance through geek squad which ended up being a monthly charge. After a very short time I paid the credit card off and since I didn't have a balance any longer, I was thinking I didn't have to make any more payments. Unfortunately, I forgot about the added insurance. I never received any emails or late notices until the account was being closed. At the time my account was closed I got a notification saying Citi was closing my account. I called Citi to see what was wrong and trey explained I had 3 30 days late which is a 90 day late on my credit report. This innocent mistake has damaged my credit score and cost me thousands of dollars. I have tried reaching out to Citi and Best Buy for some type of way to resolve this issue. I offered to pay all the late charges and fees. Citi and Best Buy have done nothing to try and help and as a loyal customer I would expect much more.
Desired outcome: I have sent letters disputing these late charges .I would like them removed from credit report. My email Address is [protected]@garagedoorrepairfast.com
