Aspen Dental Lower Partial not fitting

I had a new lower partial made in 2020 and it fit. In 2022I had to have three teeth polled and they were going to add teeth to my partial that I currently had. They took an impression with the partial in my mouth before they pulled the teeth. I had a lot of bone fragments after the teeth were polled and pain the partial did not fit. I kept having them adjust it and adjust it. Now they’re telling me I need to buy another one, since I haven’t even been able to wear my current Partial since they added the teeth to it it’s not my fault the partial doesn’t fit I’m 74 years old and don’t have money to throw around like that. They wanna charge me 1400 for another one.

Desired outcome: Make my partial, correct

Late August 2022 Eobert Anvick started being seen at Aspen Dental for Extraction of 4 teeth and then Dentures made. October 4th 2022 they extracted his teeth, he had to return on the 5th for follow up.. On October 19 the went in to take impressions. In November 2022 he finally got his dentures. In late November they tried to put in a soft liner. He has returned atleast 1-2 times a month since the. He could never wear his dentures. Now they want him to pay another $483 for new impressions and dentures when he is already paying him $ 7,000 . I have tried to contact the corporate office, I can't get a response.

Desired outcome: Dentures that fit in his mouth so he can wear them, and not have to pay for another set.

ME TOO! I haven't been able to wear my partial bridge/denture even ONE DAY in over THREE YEARS because they never could get it right (EVEN AFTER SELLING ME the "soft liner"!). But it hasn't stopped me from having to STILL keep paying on the loan I had to take out for $10K to fix my teeth! On top of that, their "oral surgeon" who walked in to their clinic carrying a suitcase of equipment, like some kind of carpet bag floating doctor...very sketch IMHO. Anyway, he dug so hard in my mouth that I can't believe my jaw is still on my face, but what he DID DO, was give me permanent damage to the nerves running along my lower jaw! I've had teeth pulled before and I know the difference between the "noisy/crunchy" and KIND OF aggressive pulling that is "USUAL" and this "oral surgeon" (if he really was one in the first place) did more damage in my mouth than any dentist or doctor that I've EVER gone to and, disturbingly, I don't even know WHO HE WAS! THEN...he crushed my jaw and teeth SO MUCH but failed to properly irrigate and clean it out, so I had pieces of bone and teeth emerging CONTINUOUSLY which then CONTINUOUSLY kept causing serious infections with pus and pain...ALL of which I had to PAY MORE to have TREATED!

Aspen Dental Dentures

I had my teeth pulled in januari 2023 and nobody informed me that I was going to have severe bruising, purple face and neck for about 2 weeks. So I could not go to work, I am a realtor. I had pain with the dentures, went back for adjustments. Still hurting. Its almost 2 months now and I can still not eat. My lower dentures are way too big, so I cant talk normally. Dr Drumi told me that they were going to put a liner in in a couple of months and than replace the dentures with permanent ones. So I asked her specifically, oh these are not my real dentures? I am going to get different ones and she said yest. On my last visit on februari 27th for another adjustment, the nurse (who did not identify herself and had no nametag) said that it takes 6 months to heal, what?, no new dentures, linings are enough according to her and she referred to the lab. My bite is not right and my lower dentures are coming out when I talk. What can be done to fix this? This does not sound like a professional procedure. And it looks like I am not the only one.

Desired outcome: Replacement of temporary dentures, that fit.

Aspen Dental Lower dentures (dissatisfied)

I had both upper & lower dentures did; back 2022, I contacted Aspen to get my lower dentures repaired, the 1st time they replaced a broken hook, 2nd time dentures fixed was too loose,3rd time they were not correct so the manager I assumed told me that they would give me a refund if the dentures didn’t work,so the dentures finally came in and they were so tight that I got blisters in my mouth. I called them to come in, to get them adjusted. But when I got there the

manager & another manager said they felt it would be better to give me a refund, & not adjust or fix the denture.1st I Never asked for a refund, I just wanted them to be done right ,nor did they offer to adjust them. The refund was no where near what I pd.for them, I am very disappointed in their service , no complaints about the staff, if am not having problems with the upper denture

that was made correctly why am I having so many problems with the lower

;

Desired outcome: Replace my denture, since I already pd for them, go to another Aspen Dental office

Aspen Dental Arestin Injection

Aspen dental willfully misled me into receiving injections they knew would not be covered by insurance and are clinically insignificant. They intended to make as much money as possible and led me to believe the treatment was necessary. The location was Hadley, MA.

They billed the wrong insurance after I had given them my new insurance details. When the old insurance (that didn't cover me) refused to pay (obviously), I was billed even though they had the new insurance information. Additionally, in their estimate breakdown, they listed discounts for medicines that I was charged for nonetheless. They did not apply listed discounts.

Desired outcome: I want a refund for the money they stole from me.

Aspen Dental Wrongly extracted tooth

I went to Aspen Good afternoon,

My name is Fernanda Loveland Gordon and I'm writing to file a complain i have Aspen Dental. I have been a victim of medical malpractice by this company. Aspen Dental extracted a wrong tooth during a visit. I visited the Aspen dental facility located in Niceville, FL in 03/02/2022 and I requested the extraction of tooth number #19, a tooth that was visibly broken due to an accident I had. During the extraction the dentist extracted a different molar than the one that was indicated and extracted a molar that was complete (#18). When I noticed the mistake she extracted the actual tooth I requested at the beginning (#19) without making me sign a new consent document of extraction. Now I have two molars extracted when I only provided the consent to extract one molar that was visibly BROKEN (#19).

I tried contacting Aspen dental and after receiving no solution through calls and emails I visited their facility where I was told I would get further notice from them. The manager of the facility told me they would contact me in 48 hours with a notice of the cancelation of the whole debt. This never happened as I have to keep calling them in order to REQUEST a RESOLUTION. After all of this attempts I decided to file a complain to the board.

This charge of $166 is completely unacceptable as I'm being charged for the tooth extracted that I did not request and that happened due to a medical malpractice on the part of the dentist.

I'm hoping this case can be finally closed and I get a solution for it. I'm requesting the total cancellation of this debt.

Desired outcome: Total cancellation of debt and reimburse expenses for repair or implant of the MOLAR THAT WAS WRONGLY EXTRACTED.

Aspen Dental Servies

Absolutely awful experience, took months to get in, then a week prior I got a call that they had to reschedule because they would have no dentist. Finally go today and see Dr.Pak, and what a joke! I went because the 3 molars I have left are all broke. As are all but maybe 1 or 2 other teeth. My insurance only covers $1500/year, so I wanted dentures so I don’t have to keep fixing the same

Teeth(all but a few have all already been filled and then broke). Dr Pak told me unless I agree to implants and root canals he won’t help me, and I refuse to put myself into $30-50k worth of debt, sure if I had the $ I would gladly get implants but if that was the case I definitely wouldn’t have Aspen do them! So he literally did nothing, even seeing the abscess in my jaw on my X-rays! I left heartbroken and really defeated, cried the entire way home because this was my only shot at getting dentures where I can afford them and not have awful teeth that everyone makes fun of.

Desired outcome: Having my teeth removed and getting dentures, but not by Dr. Pak, he clearly thinks everyone has the income he does and is willing to put themselves into years and years worth of debt

Aspen Dental Reline of upper denture

Went to Aspen to have last 7 teeth pulled and for lower dentures. They quoted a price for new uppers and lowers that I couldn't afford, so I opted to just have my 6 year old uppers hard relined. They relined them with soft reline. I didn"t know

there was such a thing. I've only had hard relines in the past. Anyway, they charged me $400 for this. The soft reline lasted for 3 months. I complained to Melissa and she look it up and said I was charged for hard reline but they did soft reline. She said they would reimburse me. Months went by and have not rec'd reimbursement. Talked to her again and said she would check on it. Now months later still nothing. My dental office is in Ft Mohave, AZ. My name is Ronald Gulbranson. I would like some action. Please advise.

Desired outcome: Reimburse me $400.00

Aspen Dental Everything they did

Aspen Dental is the worst. I went there four times had fillings done. One came out three times. It was a broken tooth and David did not find I had to take my business elsewhere. I would recommend nobody ever go there. They are the worst. I had to go elsewhere to get two root canals, and one tooth removed because of what they did very disappointed. I explain to them that my teeth are very sensitive and they did not care jammed a needle in my mouth several times almost all the work that they did with filling had to be corrected. I still need to root canals, and I had one tooth removed all due to what they did to my mouth again I am very disappointed. I would like a refund and a refund to my insurance company for everything they did. They wasted my time and money not happy.

Desired outcome: I think they should go out of business. That’s how poor they are.

Aspen Dental Unprofessional. Deceptive. Unethical.

My family and I received services at the Asheboro, NC location in 2022. Upon a return visit, we were told we had a balance from a previous visit, and would not be seen until it was paid, threatening to cancel our appointment on the spot, despite calling ahead to make sure there were no issues. We contacted the insurance company and confirmed that payments were already sent and received by the location. The office manager insisted we pay anyway otherwise we would not be seen. We expressed our dissatisfaction with their unprofessionalism for extorting us out of $ that they had already received under threat of having time off from work be for nothing.

Following this incident, we received letters stating that my entire family was banned from every Aspen Dental in the country, my 7, 9, and 14 year old children included.

Why is it that 1 deceptive and dishonest individual is able to have my entire family banned from every location of the company simply because she didn't like the fact that she was caught in a lie when she was trying to force us to pay for services they had already been paid for, and why does the company itself allow this thief to extort people, and ban them if they call them out on it?

Totally unprofessional and unethical practices!

Desired outcome: Contact from corporate office, receive overpayments back, have my children removed from the "banned" list, apologies for stress, anguish, and embarrassment caused by this.

Aspen Dental Dentures

I had an upper denture made at Aspen Dental located at Waterford Lakes on Alafaya Trail in Orlando, Florida. The denture requires an adhesive to stay in, and I cannot eat any foods harder than soup or soft in texture. I cannot take a bite out of a sandwich or eat any meats. I am experiencing pain when eating. Furthermore, I have made two visits to Aspen Dental seeking relief to no avail. The first visit resulted in my being diagnosed as having an infection and was prescribed an antibiotic along with a suggestion that I elect to have implants costing $19,000. After taking the antibiotic, the pain persisted, so I made another visit seeking a remedy. This time, the dentist elected to adjust the denture by grinding some of the denture ridge, which did little to help.

Nothing was done to remedy the fit of the denture.

I complained to the office manager, who was less than helpful. When pressed to solve the problem, she said she would call the owner and set up a time to speak with him/her. I have yet to receive the promised phone call.

The office manager did inform me that I would look different if they refunded my money and leave me with no upper denture.

Aspen Dental Bill

I got a total bill of what my procedure would cost then they took out discount and insurance and $1000.00 for care credit left me with $568.40 balance. I asked the finance person is that the balance that I will owe after everything that was listed on the print out she gave and she said yes. I took the girl that I could not pay then she asked if I could pay $ 67.40 and I paid. So had procedure done and the next day went for checkup to see how I was doing and then they told me that I had an overdue bill of $ 800.00 due. So how do you go from owing $ 568.40 over night to $800.00 when the whole procedure that I had done was include in the print out she gave me. I talked to the manager asked if I could set up payment s that I could pay a month and she said all care credit gave me was $1000.00 and the manager would even not work we me and she told me that if she knew that I could not pay then she would have told me to stop before I had the procedure done. I asked how I went from oweing $501..40 to $ 800.00 over night then she drop the payment back down to $501.40 which I paid to say not going back for my perment placial because they will cost me more money Watch bill when you go there

Aspen Dental Billing

Beware of this company billing practices, they are crooks. They verify & charge your deductible and your portion of your bill at the time of your appointment. They then send an incomplete bill for your dental insurance to pay for the reminder.

Dental insurance would not pay an incomplete bill and they know this too well.

In the meantime the sent you many letters demanding payment. If you fall for the pressure and pay them, they then send a complete bill to insurance to get pay. They will get paid twice for the same service. Same has happened to many people. If you don't pay this bills they will send you to collections while they still waiting for payment from your insurance.

Arrived for appointment (scheduled 6 months ago) and was told it was canceled because I owed a balance. I never received a call or bill. Also was then told by Office Manager that I had a zero balance. In addition, I had also called 2 weeks before to confirm because I had a conflicting appointment for the same time (which I canceled so I could make my dental appointment). Totally unprofessional that I never received a call about my appointment and the fact that I had confirmed it 2 weeks before. This is no way to operate a business.

Aspen Dental Lying to customers

Hello,

I'm going to start from the beginning, so you have a clear understanding of where my frustration is coming from. I am a patient of Aspen Dental in Tilton NH. I went for my normal checkup about 1.5 years ago (I go every 6months). I informed my hygienist that I had this white spot on my gums, and it didn't go away. Without confirming with a doctor, she said it was a sls allergy, So I went to the store and bought sls free toothpaste. The spots did go away. 6 moths later I went back and told her it was still there. Again, I was told it was an sls allergy and this time was told to stop using toothpaste. she said I didn't need to really use toothpaste anyway. 6 months later when I went back, I told her a 3rd time it's still there. This time she called the dentist in who then told me I needed to speak to the oral surgeon. this was strange, why now after 1.5 years of me reporting something wrong do I need to see an oral surgeon.

I waited for the surgeon to finish his shopping (yes personal shopping) and when he came back in He told me that the white on my gum's should not be there and should not have been there as long as it was. He wanted to know why, I waited so long, and I told him I did bring this up with my hygienist numerous times and she said it was a sls allergy.

I scheduled a biopsy for Jan 12 and had it done. Never got my results.

I was told to call a week later to get my test results. When I called the office, they told me my results were not in. I waited another week and when I called, they told me that the results were in, but the doctor needed to talk with me, and they would give him the message. I never got a phone call. The 3rd time I called a woman said that she can't get into the results, but would be able to email the results, and confirmed my email address. I never got an email. The last time I called was a terrible mess. I woman simply didn't care about what I had to say, she told me the results were not in, and when I informed her, she was lying to me, she transferred me to a random voice mail. She never told me she was doing that, or who she was transferring me too. No message on the voicemail and no name. She then called me back with another excuse and told me the doctor is not in the office and will call me when he is. which was 02/09/23... Well, that was yesterday, and I never got a call. I could have potential CANCER, and this place simply does not care, meanwhile I'm sitting waiting to find out if I have been living with cancer for 1.5+ years. Can you help, can anyone help?

Desired outcome: I want my test results, and someone should be looking into this branch. The employees lie to the customers, and simply do not care about their wellbeing.
