We recently traveled thoughout Washington Oregon Idaho and Nevada using pre-purchased Applebees gift cards. On several occasions we simply TOLD the waitresses that we were Golden Apple people and we were assured that the discount would be taken off the total. Twice with those assurances when we got back and reviewed the tab, they completely forgot.
It is not that amounts to that much money but we made sure we told our wait staff they forget immediately.
Here is the big issue for us, in both cases the wait person used the screen device at our table to show totals but at nearly 70 years old, we could not see the screen well enough to see that it was done correctly.
Very unhappy with that little on the table device!
Love Applebees and have been loyal customers for YEARS but we wish you would give us cards to hand to the wait staff so they don't forget our senior discounts. And in our opinion, LOSE the table monitors and games! We come to eat, not to play games.
Thank you for reading this.
Sincerely,
Mr and Mrs Jeffrey Huget

Marilyn Applebee on "I Love Lucy" was such a pukey looking old dame. I just can't eat there. They oughta change that name.
