AmeriGas Propane Unable to get a propane delivery

I am over a week late on my scheduled delivery. I have called numerous times and cannot get an answer as to when I will receive my delivery. Temperatures are below freezing, and I have to keep my heat just above freezing levels and avoid cooking at this point to avoid losing gas entirely and freezing out my pipes.

This company is horrible about handling customer complaints. I am looking into a class action lawsuit against Amerigas for utilities contracted and not provided.

Desired outcome: Deliver propane as promised.

AmeriGas Propane propane delivery and propane feed to house

I contracted with Amerigas to provide propane gas to my house on 7007 riverside dr,powell ohio

They allowed the propane tank to go empty and it took me a week to get a refill in the dead of winter/ After they refilled tank they failed to contact me as promised so I could be there so they could restart gas outflow to house and check appliances/ It has been now 10 days that I have had no gas to house for heat or hot water and the pipes will freeze/ despite calling numerous times and being listed as an emergency they have yet to contact me and connect the gas out put to the house/

Because of this negligent and callous behavior It has now become neccesary for me to bring legal action against Amerigas for breach of contract, neglience, fraudulent representation, and punitive damages

The CEO should be fired ,worst service ever

AmeriGas Propane Propane delivery

Ordered propane to be delivered on 1/23/22. The delivery window was 1/24/22-1/31/22. On 2/1 I called and was told it was coming the next day on 2/2. I understand the world is short staffed and knew we would be okay, however they never showed. I have called every single day at least once if not twice since then and have been ensured every day by every person that I will be getting propane either that day or the next. However I have not gotten propane yet. I filed a complaint to speak with the local manager and they have not reached out to me. I was told my order was expedited and I would receive it within 24hours and obviously that is not the case. It is now 15 days past the order date and I will run out of propane any minute with two small children and temps at night in the 20s. We use propane to heat our home, cook and for hot water. I contacted them in regards to purchasing our tank so we could have it filled by someone else and was told they are not selling assets of that size (500 gallon tank) at this time because the value of the asset is too high to the company, when a year ago we spoke to them about it. So legally I cannot have anyone else fill the tank, I cannot buy the tank, and I cannot even get them to fill the tank.

Desired outcome: For them to fill the tank asap.

AmeriGas Propane Delivery

We receive automatic delivery per our signed contract. My account stated delivery was scheduled for Jan 27, 2022. On that date, I checked my tank % and it was at 25%. Per AmeriGas website, I called and reported below the 40% that they state as the threshold for reporting low tank amount. On Wed, Feb 2, 2022, I still had not received delivery and my tank dropped to 17%. I called and was told the order would be expedited with delivery guaranteed on Feb 4, 2022, by the end of the business day. We have had snow and subzero temperatures. No delivery came Friday, so by early afternoon, I called to check on the status. I was told that I should expect delivery on Monday (Feb 7, 2022) and that I would not receive propane on Friday.

I argued the point of my appliances, furnace, etc are all using propane and I was told "Just don't turn your heat to 80 degrees over the weekend and you'll be fine". Not helpful with a disabled husband and a visiting baby.

Today, Feb 7, 2022, I was told no delivery (tank is at 11%) but I SHOULD (not a confirmation) get propane by tomorrow. That shortage of personnel, storms, etc have impacted the delivery system. However, I paid extra for automatic delivery. I am not a "will call" customer. Today would be within their 10-day window of the delivery date of Jan 27, 2022. I was told today I would get propane. I feel they're not owning up to their end of the contract.

Desired outcome: I want propane delivery today. It's contract-based and they will be violating their own standards if I don't receive my delivery today.

AmeriGas Propane Unable to get gas delivered to elderly mom.

My 80 year old mom lives in Richfield, NC and was set up on a monthly delivery with Amerigas. Her scheduled date as per her online account was on Jan 24, 2022. On Jan 31, 2022 she ran out of gas and I contacted the company who lied and said she was scheduled for Thurs Feb 3. Her last delivery was on Dec 31, 2021. I explained that she was out of gas and i requested a delivery sooner since heat, appliances and hot water heater was run by the propane gas. When i called on Wed Feb 2 to verify her Feb 3rd delivery, they told me that she would receive it on Sat Feb 5, 2022. When they didnt show up on Sat Feb 5, I called again and i was told that she would receive it on the following Tues Feb 8. I asked to speak with the supervisor and was put on hold and they never got a supervisor on the phone after 19 minutes on hold. I called back and spoke with someone else who could not give me and explanation as to why they kept delaying the delivery to an elderly widow out of gas.

Desired outcome: I want the CEO and the world to know what kind of company Amerigas is running.

AmeriGas Propane Propane

We have been using your company for over 20 years. Our business uses your propane for our business. We are suppose to get delivery every Friday. This has not been happening. When I call I get the run around. I lost over $5,000.00 just in sales yesterday because of this. 02/03/2022 I don't know what the solution is but I feel your company owes me the money that was lost and the number of times I called every hour on the hour trying to get a resolution to this problem.

AmeriGas Propane Propane delivery

We ordered Propane on 1/18/22 and received a delivery estimate of 7-10 days. When that time passed, we followed up and were told the propane would be delivered within the next 2 days. On 2/1/22, we contacted Amerigas again since we had no propane at that point. They told us it would be delivered within 24-48 hours. On 2/3/22, we had still not received our propane and were told it would be delivered no later than 2/4/22. We called again today, 2/4/22, and are now being told it will be delivered tomorrow. We have been without propane since 2/1/22 and use propane to heat the house, shower, and cook. The temperature is forecasted to be in the low 20's tonight, currently at 32 degrees, and we have no way to heat our home (currently using space heaters).

We need help.

BTW, our gas was paid for on 1/18/22.

Desired outcome: We need propane delivered today to keep warm.

AmeriGas Propane Customer Service is Horrible!

I made an app RE on Jan 18th.

Earliest date avail was Feb 1st.

I received a txt the day before stating a vitrification of my appointment and no one showed up- no call, no txt, no call.

Called Amerigas and was told they would come out today (which was false) then placed on hold for over 20 mins after I asked to speak with a supervisor.

I hung up after the 20 min mark and called back.

Anther 20 mins again: verified no one was coming today and no supervisor was alerted.

Now I am told I have to wait 2 weeks for another “service call”.

I am still waiting to speak to a supervisor!

It’s amazing how I was treated when I was signing up compared to now.

AMERIGAS: GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

Customer service complaint listed on this site clearly show you have issues!

Desired outcome: IMPROVE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH TIMELY ACTION.

AmeriGas Propane Poor Service

It took a week before they could come out to file my tank.

The first driver could not get the cap of the fill valve. Said I had to call company to get a tech out. ( 1 hour on the phone. Said they would take care of it)

2 days later they sent another driver, not a tech. He filled the tank but said it was empty. The gauge read 30 so said the first driver. He than locked the tank so it could not be turned on. Said to call the company and tell then to send a tech.

Call the company another hour on the phone…mostly waiting for someone to pick up. Said they would put me in the head of the line for tech service.

Almost a week later now….tank still locked…no calls from the company..

The price of the fuel was I think high but there is not a live person to talk to.

It used to be a great company, call the local office they would discuss price and and they would just handle anything.

Would never recommend this company

Desired outcome: Fix your tank problem if there is one… adjust the price to make up for the poor service

AmeriGas Propane Service

Called to set up a service. They gave me a quote and sent it to me via email. I called to make sure everything was set and they told me that what they have on their end is not the same as the quote I was sent. Basically, they called me a liar. This was after I called 4 different times, was given 4 different numbers, and was on hold 4 different times.

Desired outcome: I would like them to honor their quote they sent me.

AmeriGas Propane Lack of on time delivery and the level in the tank is 15 %.

On January 20th I received an email notification that delivery was to be scheduled.

I began calling when the % in the tank was at about 26, and requested delivery. This is the first time in many years that I have had to call because

Amerigas has always filled on a regular schedule.

As of this writing, my tank is at 15%, and I was informed that my request for delivery on Wednesday, Feb 2nd would be "routed", but the rep could give me an assurance that fuel would arrive. WHY NOT?

Something has changed in your organization, and on time delivery has been pink slipped, I guess.

Desired outcome: Send a truck to my house and deliver propane before I run out of fuel and my water pipes freeze.

AmeriGas Propane 33.5 lb tanks

We have been buying these tanks 6 at a time, several times a year, since 2010.

They usually deliver from Palatine, IL to Schaumburg, IL. For the last 3 weeks I am told by the following Friday. This afternoon, called yet again as no delivery by Friday (3 weeks in a row) I was called to confirm, Am currently on hold for 30 minutes. After being told I am not on the schedule. Frustrating as the auto system showed here by end of day.

Our warehouse closes at 2:30p.m. So I pushed the button to make sure how late is end of day. Now I am told by customer service I am not on the schedule for delivery. Still on for a supervisor 30 minutes and counting.

Desired outcome: Apology, discount and better service going forward.

AmeriGas Propane Customer Service/ No Service/ No product

On Jan. 14th I ordered 100 gallons of gas and paid in advance for 2423 Cokey Road Rocky Mount, NC 27801 (J LaBrier/L LaBrier). I received an email and text stating they will deliver between Jan.15 thru Jan. 21st. The day of delivery I was at 40%. I called on 01/19 to find out if they are still coming and they told me on 01/21. Therefore, I stayed home from work on Friday 01/21 and still no show. I then again called before noon on Friday to make sure they were still coming and then they told me not until Saturday. I told them that we were expecting 4 to 5 inches of snow that night are they sure they will be here? The lady said yes no problem they will be here. They did not show up therefore, I called on Monday 01/24. And Michael said they will be here on Tuesday so I ordered another 100 gallons to be delivered with the first 100 gallons together. Still no order and and I called again yesterday 01/26 and Angel stated he changed my order to emergency and for some reason my order was not scheduled until the 31st before he changed it and he wanted me to call on 01/27 if I still did not get my propane. It is now the 27th day of Jan and still have NO propane and I am sitting at less than 10% and still waiting for 200 gallons to be delivered. I never had this problem before Ameri Gas took over my account from Macclesfield Gas.

AmeriGas Propane Complete failure

Ive waited since last Tuesday on propane. After about 50 calls to your overseas operators i finally gave upand drove to the shop. A guy said he was our driver and had an accident on thursday. None of your advocates even know of this. So my order sits in limbo aand sadly your advocates have noclue as to how to fixthis. Im caalling the better business bureau today and im making a full fledge social media march explaining how thoroughly incompetant each person in your organization actually are. [protected]

I am an autofill customer. Normally there is a fill in late December. No fill. It is 1-22-22 and my furnace quit. The tank gauge is zero. It's 8 degrees outside. I was on hold on their emergency line for over an hour. Disgusted, I hung up. This is the second time in two years. There will not be a third. Their ceo should be in prison and his millions of dollars returned to the customers they have frauded.

I scheduled a delivery no one told me I had to be home for yet the driver still filled my tank replaced the valve and then turned my service off without notifying me or my wife. They then said it would take 10 days or more for them to come back out and turn my services on they have zero regard for anyone's safety they do not care about you you are simply a number and money to them if you can do everything in your power to avoid this corrupt disgusting company!

Desired outcome: Finish the job! Then when I'm done with this round of gas get your garbage off my property!

AmeriGas Propane Delivery failed

The worst propane company in the world . I'm on an automatic refill program with them and they let it ran out (is a 500 gallon tank)..so I called them like 20 times already got the same answers every time "it will be delivered within 24 hours"..is been over 7 days already with no propane and still no delivery yet and the temperature is 24 degrees outside..DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY….

AmeriGas Propane Unethical behavior

I have called 4 times starting the beginning of October to cancel my convenience pay. They said okay all 4 times, yet I am still on the program and am being billed, showing a past due account balance. They refuse to cancel this program. One of the agents stated that I have to continue to pay even though I have cancelled and they will determine any refund due. I will not pay for something that I cancelled months ago, that they refuse to correct. I do not owe anything as I have a zero actual account balance.

Desired outcome: Cancel convenience pay and stop billing me for a zero balance.

AmeriGas Propane No Delivery

I had less than 5% propane in my tank so I called AmeriGas . I am on Automatic Delivery. I called AmeriGas on 1/13/2022 an informed the customer service agent of the situation. Confirmed the 5% and explained that I needed a delivery. I was told not today, maybe on 1/14/2022 but probably on 1/15/2022. I said that I would be out of propane by then. Customer service said that my delivery request would be expedited. I called back on 1/14/2022 for delivery status and was told I would receive delivery on 1/17/2022. I told the customer service agent that a winter storm was coming, that I would be out of propane before then and that 1/17/2022 was a holiday. Again I was told that my request was being expedited and I told her that it was being expedited when I called on 1/13/2022. So 1/17/2022 comes and goes and no delivery of propane. I call again on 1/18/2022 to check status of delivery and I'm told delivery will be on 1/19/2022. I ran out of propane on 1/17/2022. Again I'm told delivery has been expedited and hopefully they will try to deliver on 1/18/2022. Still waiting for a phone call. The bad thing is, I was suppose to receive a delivery on 11/13/2021 and AmeriGas never showed up. I know that I should have been monitoring this, but that is why I'm on the Automatic Delivery plan.

AmeriGas Propane Billing and customer service!

I have been trying to get an explanation as to why I received my bill, stating that the service date of my gas delivery was dated on 12/19/2021, I understand that the invoice is usually dated the very next day after the delivery and they said that the actual delivery was supposedly delivered on 12/31/2021, which is 12 days later, I kinda question the delivery, I understand that the delivery man came my camera that monitors my driveway shows he was out of and in the truck in 4 minutes. I really thought he didn't put any propane in at all in 4 minutes, since he left no ticket at all and the tank certainly isn't adjacent to the truck. I called and could not speak to anyone except a customer service person that said there was no supervisor available. I certainly can not see a company as large as Amerigas that has no supervisors available. this is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I also tried getting an explanation earlier in the week and was hung up on at least 4 times.
