Airtel Indiano response from the customer care and harassing the customer

I activated the service to use the mobile office (Gprs) for surfing net using my laptop, their is some setting problem due to which I am not able to connect, I have been following up with airtel ranchi from last six days but they have not been responding to my problem and even not they have blocked my number from which I was contacting their customer. Even the serious like mr. Aroop, mr. Jesudas and mr. Neeraj thakur has been not able to take up the issue and get it solved.

    I too faced such a problem but i asked them to tell me "airtel is an absolute failure" they did so and they're now going to send me an apology letter.

    ONE THING I MUST ADD HERE IS THAT THE AIRTEL GPRS CHARGE HAS BEEN INCREASED from-99/M To 249/M This is not Possible for Students and No one can enjoy Its GPRS facilility Like before ,AIRTEL SHOULD INTRODUCE SOME OFFERS FOR STUDENTS ALSO.

    I applied for a disconnection of my mobile phone no.[protected] on 31st Jan., 2006 and requested to refund the balance after deducting the billed and unbilled amount. BUT sorry to say that I have not yet heard anything from Airtel despite several reminders.

    I am customer Airtel But i am very sad to buy airtel sim card. I have bought before 3 month. I recharged date : 18-12-2006 200Rs. & 333 Rs. topup. I called every where to my friend but after one hour my mobile barred (incoming & outgoing are closed) when i went to airtel office (jamshedpur) they said to me that your address proof didn't submit in main airtel office so your line disconnected when as i have submitted already my documents to retailer shop. Now I am harassment in this time I have submitted again never the less my service is disconnected.

    Dear All,

    I have a prepaid connection with AIRTELINDIA having GPRS facility but I am receiving very slow server speed since 06.01.2007 to till date in spite of my complaint registered with Customer Care Center of BIHAR-JHARKHAND circle vide complaint nos.[protected],[protected] and [protected] Dated-12.01.2007,21.02.2007 and 28.02.2007.

    Because of that I have very bad idea about the services of AIRTELINDIA towards their customers is not good/satisfactory and their 24 hours never came yet. I advice you all to never choose AIRTELINDIA mobile connection, if you are planning for the same.

    Not only that I found that no any contact nos./email id are available any where for their customers" complains.

    I need Email ID of Shree Ganesh Mahadevan Chief of Customer product in AIRTEL. No executive can be reached. Nodal and appellate authorities Number are unreachable even at 11 AM. Hope someone conveys Email ID.

    We took the airtel connection and using at TATA Cummins Ltd (TCL) at Jamshedpur. Since the day one we have been facing the network problem. We are neither receiving calls from outside, nor able make any calls from our mobiles. The network signal shows full on our mobiles, but when we try to call any number (within the same group also), we get messages 'Network busy or the connection disconnects with beep sounds.

    We are not even able to reach Airtel customer care (121) through our mobile.

    Can somebody check the network connection in this area and let us know why this is happening?

    My name is Divya Singh with prepaid Airtel connection no [protected]. My balance is getting deducted on a daily basis even though it is not been used. For example when i make a local msg I am charged 2-3rs on grounds that it is a std msg.

    I contacted Airtel customer care service representative Mr Shivu Kumar and his supervisor Mr Piyush Kumar (in case they provided me with their correct names) and I must let you know that Mr Piyush was extremely rude non interested in listening infact he outrightly declared we customers were nothing but fools.

    I am not sure what the problem with the system is but I am sure of the number of calls and msgs I have made through my phone (I have them on my record).

    I dont expect anything from airtel people after the rude response on the phone but they are surely are going to lose their customers soon.

    I am a mentally harassed customer of Airtel Postpaid.My no. is [protected] and i work for a bank.My problem is that 3rd sept2007 was the date when i got my post paid connection sim card and till date its outgoings have not been activated,,reason being that my verification was appearing as failed in their database systems inspite of being verified 'THREE TIMES AT THE SAME ADDRESS '. This message is for Mr. C. Sunrendran (HEAD-CUSTOMER SERVICE) IF HE EVER GOES THROUGH THE COMPLAINTS PERSONALLY THEN THIS SHOULD BE OF CONCERN TO HIM....i have been given 4 service request no.s and still i am waiting for the action to be taken aginst ...my agent,person who came to verify me and the service agents namely..Mr. Rahul Kumar, Mr. Deepak Kashyap..Mr. Aryan..and Mr. Anupam.(in case they provided me with their correct names) . All these agents gave me an assuarance that with in an hour my outgoing calls would be unbarred but its been 15 days now that m still waiting.
    Now i want my initial payment to be refunded back to me and my no. to be disconnected...I am not sure what the problem with the system is but I am sure of the number of calls and msgs I have made through my phone (I have them on my record).

    AIRTEL as a service provider is a total failure....i am about to lodge a formal complaint in the consumer court now.....

    Sir i m an airtel customer from last 3 years and so, i have a network problem in my office, i cant able to make any call from my airtel mobile and vice versa, i had complained several times to the airtel office but till date nobody has turned up, its really troubling my day to day business, therefore i request you to please take the action immediately.

    I agree to the that the customers are fools and management they escape from their wrong which they done,. they dont respond properly i think we have to go for IMCA ( india mobiles customers association) to tackle the problems of the customers in a proper way all the mobile users pls make attempt for the call [protected] shankar.

    I faced a similar problem.I had applied for disconnection of my landline and broadband facility.I personally deposited the instruments and 0btained a receipt of disconnection from the airtel office.But the bills are continuing to come regularly.I had paid an excess amount ,the refund of which has still not been made to me.On top of that the regular monthly rentals are being demanded from me.I vow not to take the services of airtel again and would advice others to do the same.

    it is more usefull to me .but now a days it is not working properly why?

    it is working in some areas, and it is not working in other areas.

    I have applied for a new connection for broadband on 29-09-2008. Today is 16-09-08 and still the work is not completed. So far I have contacted more than 50 times Airtel’s various complaint numbers and reported the situation.

    Each and every time they used to promise me within so and so hour, it will be connected. I wonder what kind of service this Airtel can do for the public.

    Hence I do not want to go for AIRTEL Service and I demand my initial payment of Rs.500/- as per the ZC 42759 dated 29-08-2008 along with an explanation for their poor service.

    Airtel is a pain in an ###.

    Airtel service is pathetic.

    Airtel betrays with the customers.

    Airtel Customer care gives out false promises and not only team members but also the managers gives out false promises very fluently. I think they have been specifically trained to give out false promises and to keep the customers in the dark.

    i have had the most horrible experience with airtel cust care..i have been using mobile office since a very long time..i changed my handset yesterday and needed the settings for my handset and dial up for my pc..i kept trying to contact the helpline...but i am never able to reach the tech support...the cust care people dont seem to knw wat they r doing...one agent reacted as if he heard for the first time that we can access to the internet on ur computer using ur cell phone as a modem..two agents released the call when they were unable to help..other agents gave me the same ### n bull story that switch off ur cell phone turn it on then u will be able to reach the tech support... i have been complainting again and again..but its 3 days..and have received no help..all i keep getting are these ref no.s from [protected]-[protected] .. airtel service is really disgusting..i would recommend people not to go for a airtel sim card.. the english the cust care agents speak is also pathetic

    Now this time my number is being barred due to address proof and identity card

    For your information I have purchased this connection May-07 and i had submitted all document for it and after one and half year my connection is barred .
    Kindly tell me how many days you want to take this verification, can it be one year or more.

    Dear Sir,
    I bought an airtel SIM last 6 days at Orissa, koraput, semiliguda (Shop – Boinshi Gouda) my SIM number [protected] and I gave the adders & photo proof, RS – 100+ 199 ( Life time) . My sim card got after a few days deactivated. When I asked the costumer care they told it will be activated soon. But still my SIM is not work. Please take necessary action regarding my SIM.

    I work as a quality analyst at Wipro, Hyd. And i am pretty well aware of the way MNC's work to keep up their reputation. But the worst i have seen in the telecom sector is AIRTEL. The worst service provided. The Customer care agents could be easily replaced by Automated machines wherein any question you ask them, they will be giving you the same reply. May be it will help airtel in cutting costs and serving the customers better. I had taken a postpaid corporate connection, and was supposed to receive a detailed billing for the same on my email ID, which i never did, When i call up C.C they ask me to get registered online and update my information because their applications are down. But when i do so, eveytime i get a 500 internel server error message. It is really pathetic as to how AIRTEL cannot even get technical snags fixed when they call themselves as India's largest Network. The worst service i ever expected.

    hi Airtel,
    reference # F533077774 (unresolved issue).
    when ever i call airtel they say that tools are down.who the hell is managing IT for airtel.when i change hello tune song they deducted 15/- from my account and after that the song is not changed.its been 3 working days still airtel fixing their tools down issue.freaking service.always ownership miss where they will promise callback and will neve ever call.pathetic service.when they deduct 15/- tools were working and when activating the song tools will be down.when i called they said it will be activated within 24 hours and nothing happened.very bad service.india Govt will advertise about consumer court and everything actually they should take action against these people for providing false information to consumers.Airtel, if you get a chance to see this comments please call and help me.

    i taken air tel sim pre paid and after 3 week my outgoing baared and i con to dealer then he told that your document had been submitted, when i con to airtel customer care he tell your document is not submitted, so its totally fake ... i dnt know what they had done with my document, , , and due to their mis entry they issue some other person document .. so what should i do ... should i case against them ...

    Hi,

    My name is Chanderdeep Singh and I'm from Chandigarh. I'm using my airtel no. [protected] from last 3 years.

    I m feeling very very bad as i m their prestigious client...

    I had requested them for change of my GPRS 99 plan to GPRS 500 on 12 July 2009. Since then they have de-activated my GPRS 99 services and when i call them at their helpline no, 121 or [protected], every time they say your GPRS will start in next 6 hrs. I think i have made more then 10-15 call to confirm.

    And now thingh is that every time I call them for enquiry they disconnect the call.

    By doing this kind of stuff they are ruining their image not only infornt of me but infort of whole world.

    I am really fed up with the service of IPTV since active i am facing issue's I dont know wht to do whenever I try to open my Televison it display:

    NETWORK INTILIZATION FAILED.

    Last week only I hv faced this issue for 4 times and till now 300 times since installation.


    Your fraud company is gud in sending bills on monthly basis... but not giving any service. Do you think I will pay yur bill for not getting any Service???

    Now the only option is left to return my money Rs 4000/- that you have taken for IPTV installation so that I may go for some better option available in the market.

    try to send this mail to call the senior persons working at airtel so that they can know wht kind of service u r giving to customer and wht in return they are giving feedback.

    Take this mail seriously other wise n resolve my issue by today otherwise I have to go to court for getting my money back.

    hello sir myself Saiyed Farhan Akbar From Aligarh UP having airtel prepaid connectin on number [protected] have been suffering from many types of difficultis such as deducting money without making calls, renew services without permissions, , i avoided all activitis by the esteem company but for the past three days the customer care centre person recieve my call but in the middle of the call they disconnected me by making me fool on converting my on hold
    sir with regards please take some positive steps in favour of me
    i am your permanent customer and i recharge my account with 100rs for almost two days later

    I m using Airtel for over a year and now when I have to disconnect my number nobody is helping me. I swear I will never buy an airtel. It's been almost 1 month I have asked them to cancel my number but no gud, customer care never takes feedback this is crazy

    I feel Airtel customer executives simply attend dutys without giving any service and unneccessary getting feed from our money (what company earns from our calls) and they are too arrogant . last month 18 sept 2009 i called custumer care complaining of unneccessary deduction from my main balence and there is no network since last 8 days calls r getting cut of after 10 sec only and its showing mobile is switched off or out of coverage. My friends and office persons are unable to contact me . again called on 22 sept 2009. custemer care exucative forwarded my call to his senior exucative, he replied so arrogantly saying that then why are u using this service? and network problem will get solve till 1 oct 2009 we cant do anything before that. I lost my loan which i applied in SBI bank becuase of "out of reach" problem as they were unable to contact me. Even job calls . today is 12 oct 2009 till their network problem not resolved that to in a city like Pune

    I'm asked the single Landline with Broadband connection in TNagar Branch for Alandur area, but they provide two Telephones one for Landline and another one for Broadband they unnecessarily give one more for broadband. Similarly I reserved on fancy number but they don’t provide that number while they give connection, they give some other number, I’m already printed by visiting cards using that fancy number which I reserved. Customer service very worst they don’t take any response every time I need to make a call to them but they simply told we will resolve your problem with in 2 hours but nothing will happen. What is that?
    Definitely I should disconnect the Airtel connection As Soon As Possible.

    Hello All

    I have got one of the worst & painful services from your organization, for the DIGITAL TV.
    I am from Madhavaram, Chennai & I bought an Airtel Digital TV on Last Saturday 12-Jun-2010. I was told that the installation
    will be done by Sunday (13-Jun-2010) evening 6:00 pm. I bought the Digital TV at Airtel Show Room at Purasaivakkam, Chennai.
    I also told the sales personal that I want the installation to be done by Sunday as none of us will be available at our home on
    Week days from 8:30 am till 11:30 pm. So I insisted them to do the installation by Sunday without fail.

    But the Airtel Person never turned up on Sunday & when I tried to reach the Person who sold me the service he switched off his
    Mobile after two missed calls & was never reachable till next morning and then I was told that the person will be available the next
    Day and I accepted it to be done by 3:30 pm, but as told earlier I was not able to make it back home as I did not get permission in my
    Office & then they said that they will install on 15-Jun-2010 by 3:30 and we made our self available…but the Airtel person turned up at 6:30 pm
    And after installing the dish antenna he initiated the download & left the site at 8:20 pm & told us that the service will start in a hour but
    It never happened.

    When I tried to call the customer support the experience was horrible & absolutely irresponsible. Every time they said the service has not been
    Enabled & it will be done in the next 4 hrs but nothing happened. I got the same response twice on 15-Jun-2010 night & I had to wait till 1:00 am in
    The night for this. But nothing changed. Again I tried on 16-Jun-2010 morning & I was told that an email has been sent with the details & it will be
    Enabled in the next 24 hrs but again nothing changed . I got a call around 10:45 am today & had to give the details about my SET TOP BOX NO & my
    SMART CARD NO & was again told another 4 hrs but again the same story till 4:45 pm today.

    NOW I AM REALLY PISSED OFF WITH THIS IDIOTIC SERVICE.

    I am also using your service of Land line & Broad band but I did not face much problem with them.
    I was earlier warned by my friends not to go for AIRTEL DTH but I trusted them based on
    My personal experience with LAND LINE & BROAD BAND.. I REALISED I MADE A BLUNDER.

    I was customer of TATA SKY, THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING & ANYTHING WAS JUST DONE IN A MATTER OF MINUTES.

    I DO NOT WANT THIS SERVICE & REFUND MY MONEY & TAKE THE EQUIPMENTS BACK.

    I am going to file a petition to president to close AIR Tell company for all its list of mischevis done with Indians.

    The more I get email the more stronger I should be having evidence. In addition to print out of these chat complaints..

    Beware AIR tell Bharti deliver tonnes of Money to undertable to few big politician which make the goverment silent on all activites.

    Dear Sir,
    My Airtel number is [protected] which I am using from last about 3 years or so without any difficulties.
    From last few days as you have started phoning to the existing customers that you are increasing speed with charging nominal amount our old connection is gone slow and it take about 1hour to download 400kb file or more than that. Your connection never works in morning period from 9.30am to 10.30 am and in the evening from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
    When you hv allotted me the above connection you had promiss for 256 kbps speed and now it has decreased up to 128kbps as you have stared new schemes of harassing public.
    I am lodging this complaint on behalf of Shardagram’s subscribers as I am the secretary of the said society. We have made a contract (MOU) with your firm on legal stamp paper stating that as & when you fail to give satisfactory services we will stop your all services. Please refer to you law department.
    I had personally lodge several complaints against not working of my connection, your representative visits my residence and do the needful but even though myself and other members are not all satisfied.
    Now to earn more money your phone calls are forcing members to adopt the new plan and at the same time you have purposely reduce the speed of old connections.( This is not my opinion, this matters was discussed in committee meetings and if we won’t get satisfactory result then we will ask all customers from Shardagram to surrender your broadband connections.
    Kindly do the needful if can or otherwise MTNL is offering better schemes then you at lower cost.
