On april 6 I clicked on a link that I thought was for comfort suites and booked a reservation at the comfort suites in dry ridge, ky. The booking agent andrew led me to believe he was a comfort suite booking agent rather than identifying himself as an agoda booking agent. Once this transaction was completed, I received an email confirmation which included my proper home address and my credit card was charge the full amount for the stay. When I arrived to comfort suites in dry ridge, ky on may 06, I noticed that my credit card was charge a second charge by comfort suites. When I brought this to comfort suites' attention, they informed me that agoda did not properly code this transaction as prepaid. To my surprise, who was agoda? I spent the next two days cleaning up this mess. For the following reason, I believe agoda is a fraudulent booking agent:
1) "andrew" never identified himself as a 3rd-party booking agent, but led me to believe that he was a comfort suite booking agent.
2) upon receiving account statements from the comfort suites' staff, my home address reflected a home address in singapore! Agoda falsified my home address to comfort suites!
Agoda is a fraudulent 3rd world booking company. Beware of this bottom feeder!
