Incorrect information about the property on agoda website
Our stay at Motel Punt 14 have been rejected. According to the policy of the hotel as stated by the hotel personnel, children are not allowed, which is not mentioned on the agoda website. On the contrary, hotel policy on agoda website states that "all children are welcome". This was something I have especially checked when I make the reservation.
On September 21st, I travelled all the way to the motel with my wife and 3 year old daughter, where we were not allowed to stay. At midnight we ended up being homeless, spending the night on the benches of the Barcelona airport. I could not sleep just before an important meeting the next day and my daughter get sick.
I should stress the fact that this inconvenience happened primarily because of the incorrect information on the Agoda website entirely against the property policy. The property allowed a free cancellation but this did not necessarily change the fact that we ended up going back and forth to the hotel, wasting lots of precious time, and spending the night on the benches of the Barcelona airport. On top of that, I needed to pay for booking another place for the remainder of our stay, which cost me more than twice what I was supposed to pay for the hotel booking. Extra costs we needed to cover here turned our trip into a negatively unforgettable one. This is the first time I have experienced this and I'm requesting compensation for all of these inconveniences.

Viewed on line website , On arriving the condition of the Hotel did not match my expectation of what I saw online . Filthy Slum , The room was Dirty, Ceiling mould ,Even the curtains did not reach the full length of the window ,No where to stand to undress ,The bed was up against the wall and touching the wardrobe See from the pictures attached .I refused to stay in this hotel room and asked agoda for a refund but they asked me to return to hotel saying they had changed room to find the next room in simular dirty filthy condition.

Agoda has done poorly - hotel details not updated on agoda website. No updated reviews as well!
1) I understand fully well if points cannot be refunded due to our mistake or decision. But Agoda has once again allowed such mistakes to occur - hotel details were not accurate or updated... even emails not available etc.
These made difficult for customers to check with the property concerned. The recent issue I encountered with Baan Yuree hotel booked under Agoda - I tried to contact hotel but no success...or have to pay overseas charges (which is ridiculous to try) ...asked Agoda if you can contact the hotel for their email address or assist in conveying my concerns...but Agoda simply careless.
Also, it has not been easy to trace at first...Agoda reviews was short or unavailable on the hotels concerned...
2) In the end, I read reviews from other sources...and suspected some issues. So I finally contacted the hotel to clarify - this time I was lucky... managed to get a reply...a negative point that forced me to cancel the booking. How could Agoda allow such misinformation or outdated essential info to be continued to be posted by the hotel?
3) Another issue Agoda didn't resolve was the US$4 or $5 still owed to me. According to my booking, the agreed price was stated. But hotel says I had to pay the additional Booking.com fee incurred which is not shown in my price.
As I was already at the hotel with heavy luggage and car parked already, I had to pay the additional charges, hoping to resolve with Agoda when I got home. Agoda replied after I queried that they will investigate and come back to me - But till now since June, nothing happened...no replies in spite of several repeated queries sent to Agoda customer service.
V frustrating experience with all these recent bookings with Agoda!
Agoda standard of customer service or website updating has dropped v badly, I experienced.

Incorrect bed selected by Agoda at destination hotel

I made a booking for Chic Capsule in Singapore and have chosen my selected capsule as lower bed. However, when I arrived at hotel the system has changed my bed to upper deck capsule. The system has automatically changed by bed which I never opted. On my Agoda app I can still see lower deck booking but on hotel side they see upper deck and some more charges.
I consider this is really incorrect and system issue. I faced lot of issue climbing upstairs and I really want it fully compensated now.

About the cancellation of my hotel booking due to covid positive without refund
I have one night hotel booking with the Furama River front hotel in Singapore through Agoda on in 5th Oct and out 6th Oct.22 (one night hotel) from Kota Kinabalu to Singapore on 5th Oct. But very unfortunately I was tested covid positive and therefore was forced to change my air ticket from Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia to Singapore on the 5th Oct. to 18th Oct. instead. I have emailed to Agoda one week before to change and postponed the checking date of the hotel from 5th Oct to 18th Oct. for one night as I have spoken to the Hotel and they agreed to change provided that my Agent - Agoda got to inform them (the Hotel). But to my great surprise I received email from Agoda rejecting my request which is totally digusting and unreasonable and ridiculous. What kind of website is Agoda, really a great cheater. As a result I lost S$248.07 just for nothing as I experienced with other hotel websites they do cooperate as during this pandemanic moments anything canhappened even the airline ageed for me to change my date of travel from 5th Oct to 18th Oct. 22. Please arrange to refund. ot else I will speak to the locval newspapers in Australia. Thanks

Good Day. I booked a unit which is named Heaven ‘s Den Transient Home located at Jose Abad Santos Avenue, 2000 Lagundi, San Fernando, Pampanga on October 18, 2022 with booking ID #[protected] for one night on October 23 to October 24, 2002 and it was paid beforehand through Gcash to Agoda company. After payment, it was confirmed to me on that day at 2:20 pm on my e-mail. So I assumed like any other hotels or places where I booked in the past, I will just go there to check in on the 23rd of October because it was already paid and I thought that I can find the place easily through Google Maps or Waze apps. So from that time since I am not usually using my e-mail and it didn't have any notifications from my phone, I wasn't able to check it and I haven't seen the messages from the property asking for my id's and vaccination card. So I was able only to saw their e-mail on the day of our check-in since I cannot find the exact location of the said property on any location map applications so I asked the property as well as the owner of the said unit but he didn't reply. We took hours to find the said property and waited for his reply until evening, but unfortunately, we didn't receive any reply from the owner until the next day. So we just decided to book another place for us to have a place to stay that night. My complaint is the owner didn't bother to reply that time even just informing us that we were not able to check in since we didn't provide the following requirements or conditions needed which did not mention or provide in their rules so that the customer will be informed beforehand. It's just disappointing that the owner didn't bother to inform us and let us wait without knowing where to go, considering that we have already paid that beforehand. I need a refund or at least half of my payment. Thanks

Palm apart hotel when we first booked in said that we had no breakfast. After explaining to the reception staff that we had breakfast booked in the package. The male staff replied with there is no breakfast on this side of the accomdation. Only on the hotel staff. The next morning another colleague was sat in the reception he stated that we did have breakfast but we had missed it. He then stated he will speak to the management and let them know. After waiting the whole day & no response we asked another reception staff. He replied with its to late for me to anything the manager is on holiday. None of the colleagues provided any adequate help.
Desired outcome: We would like a days refund on breakfast. That 6 people who were not able to get breakfast because the reception staff could not read.

My agoda account app has been deactivated by agoda because of a case that was closed for almost a year ago.
The booking(case) was already closed by me,agoda and the property.
After so many bookings I had with the app after that incident why opening a finished case just now?
I already e-mailed agoda. I also called the property already and yet there is still no action. Agoda wants me to send a receipt of that case. The case was a cancelled booking coordinated by the property itself. I don't have the copy of receipt already since it was almost a year ago. Why not Agoda and the property management talk to each other to clarify this case?

Econo lodge booking on oct 14 and 15, 2022 id540967946
I made a reservation at the Econo lodge in New Ulm, MN on Oct 14. After I gave my payment information, I was given a confirmation number. I then called the Econo lodge in New Ulm Minnesota to confirm that my reservation went through.
They said no reservations were under my name. When I looked at my confirmation, it said that Agoda booked a room in South Carolina! WTF!
I called Agoda and they said they will call the Econo lodge in SC to get a refund. Well, I was only refunded half of my money. This is on AGODA not the motel.
Desired outcome: I want the full refund not the half of the refund!!! I am going to BBB to file a complaint also. [censored]ing refund my money!!!!
Reservation canceled by the owner
We booked an accommodation via agoda two weeks ago for two nights in Ioannina, Greece. We got a confirmation email and reservation number. Today we got a message that our reservation was canceled. We contacted the owner to find out what happened and she told us that the accommodation was not available for the dates we wanted it and that agoda just hadn't updated the status. Therefore we have no place to stay because there is nothing else available for the specific dates!
Desired outcome: We would like for you either to find us another place to stay that will cost us the same amount of money or anything else to solve this unpleasant situation!
Credit card payment refund hotel booking
I have made Hotel booking 6 nights for Crown plaza Dubai festival on10 oct 2022 by my credit card and my credit card bank have approved vide transaction id [protected] the booking is not confirmed by the hotel so far

Incompetent, unreliable, big mistake
Agoda is the worst, most unreliable, and biggest mistake you will do in life. no way to compare with booking.com. I booked a hotel and it captures my name from my email which is not the same as in my passport. I have requested to update my name and it’s been two weeks now they cannot resolve it. I will be traveling the next day. I contacted the hotel and they agreed to update my name but the Stupid Agoda system still won't do it because they need permission from their Chinese partner as per their customer service. What a shame! I swear that after this trip I will delete my account in this stupid app and will never book a hotel with this cheap and totally nonsense app. I admit that I made a very big mistake in booking my hotel with this company. Agoda unfair credit card charge and loss
In general, make a room reservations just need to hold the credit card amount , in my case, The hotel insist to make a payment when I want to booked a room in June 2022, I call to Agoda hope they can resolve this problem cause I never have this experience before. In my past, it's no need to make a payment immediately when I reserve a room. But Agoda said this is normal and told me I need to do that.
After, I cancel that room in Aug. 2022, Hotel reply me wont' refund to me and said they haven't take any payment, after investigation, Hotel refund to me but it's has delayed the refund for a month finally.
In the end, the exchange rate has dropped, and my refunded amount dropped as much as US$240. I claim compensation. Agoda told me to ask Bank, it's ridiculous.
I haven't use any service but I cost US$240.

I chose this hotel because of access to fitness centre and the swimming pool.
I checked in yesterday and was told the hotel no longer have contract to access the gym and swimming pool. I was very disappointed. I moved from summit hotel in Subang to empire hotel specifically for the fitness center and swimming pool.
I'd like to be compensated for the false advertising.

Angoda APP is a scam
I have booked the hotel room via angoda app through Samsung phone for Dubai. The app never asked for date .Once payment is deducted i understand that the booking was for the same day not the day i wish to stay.You can see the screeen shot of app the date is hidden behind the filter and money is deducted without asking the date .I made a complaint but no action from angoda

incorrect information on agoda website
I have booked Hotel Centro Hotel National Frankfurt City on October 10, 2022. [Agoda booking ID is [protected]/Stay October 10.] The information page clearly states that parking is available on site. Parking in Frankfurt is very difficult. This was a requirement for me as I am unfamiliar with this busy part of Frankfurt. However, it soon became apparent that the Hotel has no parking at all. I risked a fine to still recover from the reception, but they confirmed to me that I could not park. I find this misleading and ask my money back as I have had to book elsewhere where they do have parking.

Wrong room booked - customer service down
I used Agoda to book one night (Oct. 1, 2022) at Extended Stay American (Temecula). As we have three adults, we booked a room with two double beds. However, when we arrived at the hotel around 10 pm, the hotel only gave us a one bed room. We told the hotel that we booked for a two double beds room, but the hotel told us the booking from Agoda only shows one bed room and the hotel doesn't have any two double beds room available that night.
Anyways, regardless of whether the fault is on Agoda or the hotel, when we called Agoda to resolve the issue (at 10 pm local), the customer service personnel (likely located in Hong Kong and 1 pm at local time) told us their system was down and they could not resolve the issue for us, and asked us to wait for two hours (meaning we need to wait until 12 am just to hear back from them). In the end, we booked another hotel nearby for the third adult, which costed us an additional $350 USD. We were extremely dissatisfied with how Agoda assisted its customers when there was an issue and their inability to negotiate with the hotel when the issue happened. We were just left there without any advice or choice and were expected to deal with everything.
We finally hear back from Agoda after few days, but they only agreed to give us a refund of the difference between a two double beds room and a one bed room (which is like ... $20 USD?).
Desired outcome: I don't expect Agoda to provide any more refund then the price difference. So I just want Agoda users and others to be aware of that they should not expect any assistance from Agoda when an issue happens.
