ADT Security Services review: ADT Pulse

ISSUE:
New unwanted computer emails from ADT and removed user-controls starting Dec 8th 2025. As one example: I got 17 computer emails from ADT in a single day!

In desperation 2-26-25 I sent the following to ADT:

I pay for a service which has been severely compromised by the product company themselves, namely ADT/ADT PULSE. Dec 8th 2025 ADT released a system update which included multiple operational changes to user accounts. I called several times (beginning on Dec 9th) and spoke to *seven* (7) ADT/ADT PULSE agents and technicians well over 2 hours and 2 days about the obvious issues with their last unvetted update.

I shared their product is literally #broken#, and that it has become an instrument of pure harassment. Thus ADT is very aware of my complaints and the supporting circumstances. I ultimately asked for top/upper ADT management to contact me since the last "head" tech could not help undo or fix the issues. I was informed that management would reach out to me.

NOT ONE PERSON HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME "or" FIXED THE ISSUES!

I already get alerts to my phone. That, is fine and the way it's been for many years! The NEW and most harassing and extremely annoying issue is ***duplicate*** alerts being sent to my computer email. I did not ask for this, do not want it, and have told ADT so !_repeatedly_! This extra junk email is absolute unsolicited digital harassment, clutters my inbox, and takes valuable time to remove.

Further: The reason for this "breakage" is in the software mods ADT made, resulting in: Several normally active user controls were purposefully overwritten so that they no longer function. Ref under USER PROFILE: In my own profile as the owner, I can no longer **prevent** email pings coming to my computer email. I can no longer **control** push notifications to my devices.

I am an engineer and find this lack of concern (about their own defective product) and continued digital harassment HIGHLY irresponsible. Legal avenues are being considered.

NOTE: A core legal test for harassment is for the conduct to be illegal it must be either “severe” or “pervasive” - in this case, it is both. Another test is showing the conduct in question was unwelcome/unwanted. This means we didn’t invite or consent to the harassing behavior we've been subjected to. These support an undeniable pathway for an harassment suit, with damages.

CLAIMED LOSS: For recompense: 18 days of known purposeful harassment at $100/day. Beginning Jan 1, 2026, this will become $500/day. After another 30 days the harassment charge and billing will become $1000/day in perpetuity until the issues are fixed.

DESIRED OUTCOME: Contact me ASAP to fix the issues:
(which would fix the issues for ALL users as well!), which includes:
1. Fix the ADT Dec 8th 2025 release to provide back the user controls ADT blocked (including this one: THE OPTION TO ***NOT*** SEND EMAIL ALERTS TO MY EMAIL!)
2. Stop using my *email* to send non-critical alerts, such as: my front door activity and alarm settings. YOU ALREADY SEND THESE TO MY PHONE!

Fix the 12-8-2025 release issues (fixing them for ALL other users as well!): 1. Provide *back* the user profile controls ADT unilaterally turned off or blocked; 2. Stop sending duplicate noncritical email alerts, such as: zone activity and alarm settings."

Here is the financial penalty recap as of 2-28-26:
For the first 24 days of harassment: ADT owes me $2400.00;
For the next 31 days: ADT owes me $$15,500.00; and today
For the next 28 days ADT owes me $28,000.00.
TOTAL DUE: $45,900.00, Feb 28th 2026.

LET IT BE KNOWN: ADT has two choices: FIX the issues stated immediately, or pay me (and potentially many other clients) damages in a continued manner, in perpetuity, until said issues are fixed.

With 614 (six-hundred and fourteen of the saved) harassment emails in 3 months, I am now completely out of patience. My next step if :1. If I am not fully compensated ($45,900.00) before the end of March 2026 -OR- 2. If the issues are not fully resolved, is to seek legal remedies and implement a class action lawsuit.

CLAIMED LOSS:
$45,900.00. This balance will continue to accumulate going forward into March 2026, and beyond. If the technical issues are not resolved by March 31st 2026 or If payment in full has not been thereto issued; interest at 25% compounded monthly will ensue, AND, legal remedies will be sought pursuant to all Nevada laws. In light of the continued secondary email harassment, and the fact I am over 70, it remains the prospect of filing at least one (1) Elder Abuse charge is also possible.
