I am a retired US Army Military Police Anti-terrorist/Force Protection, my last position was the Operation Manager (S3-SGM) for a Brigade. Additionally, I was an Operations Manager for Special Operation Command.
Having dealt with ADT before, they were a reputable company. I retired to a farm and have specific needs. We built the home and barn, during construction, I installed CAT-5e cable to all the places that would need protection. Installation went fine, Five(5) PTX cameras around home and Farm one bullet inside. Aug 2025 we were hit with a lightning strike. Not covered, I paid for a new controller and three cameras. I also had a whole house GFI installed. The system NEVER worked correct. Loosing setting and recording or just shutting down. Aug 2026, the system stopped working completely. Tech investigates, not a lightning strike, but the regional manager claimed. Now I have a completely non functioning system. I have a 800+ credit score and am ready to roll the dice and just stop payment on a security system that is inoperative.

Recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT as a Security specialist 'They have NO credibility'
