This is regarding my zain sim card, the new sim card i purchased only worked for one month, after that i faced a problem stating that "no net work coverage" and i could not make any in/out calls. I complained to zain customer service, daily when i call one staff will attend the call make a note of my compalint and register a complaint number and ask me to wait for 24 hrs. Most of the days i call and check till today the sim is not activated. Now it is about 25 days passed i got 4 times complaint registratio number no action so far, i dont understand what these technical people doing, why the operators who attend the call cannot solve this problem ? Is this company really doing service to their customers, the zain outlets in saudi arabia the staffs are useless, no response, they just say call 959 complaint number and sort the problem. At least they should advise the customer whether the sim can be activated or not or give a reply to my contact number saying that this sim will not work you buy a new sim etc. So far no response at all from the customer service and i am very upset of this company behaving like this, since i am a expatriate in saudi arabia they are treating like this or what i dont know. Please take necessary steps who ever attend to this compliant.

Respected sir,
Few Months ago I was bought Zain Ksa sim card. When I bought sim card, that time not deduct money. But since to few months ago every month 5 Riyas has deducting. Why like this problem? Plz Solve it. My Mobile no is 966-[protected]

I have the same problem with Zain data sim. I paid for 50/GB 3 Months SR180 in advance without absolutely no service. My sim hasnt been active for the last 4 days and I have raised 5-6 complaints with no response. Everyday Customer Service calls me to restart my phone as if we are dumb people. I have raised a complaint with the Communications and Information Technology Commission now towards Zain because of the fraud service they are giving. Hopefully some response will be there.

ZAIN IS THE WORST INTERNET PROVIDER IN THE WHOLE SAUDI ARABIA, YOU GUYS SHOULD FIX YOUR DAMN DNS SERVERS AND MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY WITH A LAND LINE! you just dont know how to setup a good server, i'm from Romania and i get REALLY frustrated because for 10euros i get 650mb/sec download speed and 450ms/sec upload speed in my country... i can barley survive here to load a youtube video at home i load 1080p60fps in no seconds, ?...SERIOUSLY? fix your damn servers. antenas or whatsoever. they are overheated and cant recive packets. or fragment them, and im stuck on 2kb/sec ...

i purchased zain pocket wifi from their outlet here in jeddah.it was performing good for about 2 months since i went vacation for one month.upon my return to ksa, i recharged my router 300 sr.the connectivity is excellent but i cant open any webpage, its so slow and their zain page always popping out.whats the benefit of my recharge.i tried to consult the customer service but just told me to wait.until when should i wait...til my recharge expire?

zain comapany bahrain is the worse telecommunication company in bahrain, very bad service and internet is disconnecting anytime, i don't get any good signal, , and for the billing they will charged you for a unknown billing like what happen to my friend, and they will issuing a travel band like what happen to me, i don't have any contract from this company and i didn't get any postpaid or device in this company.suddenly they called me and sue me accusing that i have a outstanding balance without any proof, iv been there in their branch and they don't provide me any contract or a proof that i sign from them, , i got a travle band and a bill of 195bd for what kind of device..they are bad they mess your name and they will call the company without proper investigation..a proof..come on ZAIN BAHRAIN your not the only one provider in bahrain..KARMA will go back to you and ill pray to god that you will suffer more..

You people need to stop with the ### ok? Technology is about as safe as the driving habits in this [censored]hole of a country. Where do you think you are? The middle east has never been and (never) will be the center of electronic excellence or customer service. These people know nothing in this country, thats why everything is imported -yes and this includes the network, customer service, and yourself included. Best opinion is to head back home and forget about anyone fixing your cell phone service. They dont give 2 ### about what you think or who you think you are. A word of advice though... select the pasta on the next flight outta here, the chicken is usually overc-cooked.

I purchased zain Internet sim one week back and right from the first minute I was getting sim card registration failed, when I reported this to the store they raised a ticket and said it will get fixed in 2 days but it did not get fixed at all. When I called the customer care the agent asked me to replace the sim card, I did that and now my card is not activated yet, I am not able to send message for activation nor the internet is working, so I made call to agent once again and he is asking me to wait for 24 more hours.

Did anyone face issues like this?

i wanted a internet for home so though to try zain this time. i bought zain 4g router, i checked the coverage around my area 4g wasnt available but have good service of 2g and 3g. Sales assistant also confirmed that there wont be a problem with the network as they have good 3g signals. I went home and try to get it connect but there is no signal bar at all. I tried calling them on zain call center they keep saying it is sim is activated and if its not working take it back to the store. I took it back to store and the sales guy said that there is no problem. We tried to connect at the shop and it showed 1 bar. so i though it must be activated now, went back home and tried but same problem. I even tried at my work place and its same thing. Today i took it back to store and the manager says the theres no return policy and the guy who served you only can help. He was off from work today. Paid 400 for the router and 1799 for the 6 months subscription and once the transaction is made now no one is willing to help. Are they only here to get the money from our pocket only ?

Well here is the NEWEST BAD feedback for MAZAYA PREMIUM SUBSCRIBERS - ZAIN SAUDI ARABIA
I purchase Mazaya Premium Post Paid SAR 150 with the following FREE:
* On Net Calls FREE - UNLIMITED
* Off Net Calls FREE - 200 Minutes
* SMS on Net FREE Unlimited
* SMS Off Net FREE - 200 SMS
* DATA FREE - 2GB
Those are the offers. I registered on the Website Portal and monitor my calls... I did not finish the 200 minutes free plus SMS 200 maybe less than 10 SMS I used...and the billed 270 Saudi Riyal PLUS! do you think guys you will pay? Whatever hidden charges out there they don't care to explain to their customers and asking proof of bill they cannot you the details?

I called up the customer service several times nothing happens. On the ZAIN website/Portal, I chat many times and complained at least two to three times every-day and asking the detailed bills because I wanted to see where are those charges coming from? Nothing happens! And everytime I chat I noticed that only one name appeared "HASSAN" it seems that different staff using the same user name to hide their identity. Take note that during chat they are in a hurry...if you are typing a message for 3 lines to justify your concern, that HASSAN name sending you a closing remark like: Is there anything I can help you further Mr. xxxx then suddenly closes the chat window without waiting your answer What a RUDE! I can see when he is typing as it appears that Hassan is typing a message... so he can see also if I am typing... but he ended that chat and everything I typed disappeared... then again i'm trying to reconnect for second time... but it won't allow me anymore a dialog box come up and fill your name, telephone number and message and send so that they can get back to you by email but alas nothing has happened!

Back to the bill issue, they advised me to go to any Zain branch to get the detailed bill but they could not provide it as I was told they can give me only the bill with the amount to pay but not the detailed bill and referred me to visit their head office which very far... to get the detailed bill... WHAT A FRUSTRATING SERVICE! It makes me upset and tired... I can pay the bill but my point I need to see where are those charges coming from... I am aware all numbers I called just all locals and it was all FREE. Also, on the ZAIN Portal - website after you log-in you can view all outgoing and incoming calls... I noticed that every call about 2 minutes to 3 minutes there is halala amount correspond to it like .45 halala etc. etc. I feel like the 200 minutes free there is a limit of minutes every time you call...thus, the amount appeared each call using free minutes... and totalling them all is just is just below 100 riyal only... also take note that the incoming calls detailed (received calls locally) there is amount corresponded also... so I thought ZAIN is also charging incoming calls? and if you ADD bot Incoming calls and Outgoing calls the total is below 200.. again where is that SR 270 amount coming from? that means in a month I spent 150 plus 270 = 420? in one month? No worries about GPRS FREE because I have WI-FI in my office and home never use it...and my 3G and Celluar is OFF.. and did not use the FREE given... so I reluctantly pay the amount until now... then again for next month not outgoing calls they billed SR 170 for unused...assuming SR 150 monthly subscription and 20 riyal I don't know and that 150 there are FREE! not use because my outgoing calls and SMS were barred until I paid the bill.

please can u check why every week SR 5 has been deducted from my mobile [protected]). i want to stop my deduction as soon as possible and reimburse deducted money if its possible. otherwise, i will have to stop services.

Okay guys.. One news about Zain.
Zain, is said to be the third mobile network operating company in Saudi Arabia. What they are doing for our privacy? Are they providing any sort of security. A person having training in Zain Saudi Arabia (To be more precise JEDDAH) is able to read our SMS. Is this the privacy our so called ZAIN Mobile Telecom company providing to us? No only this that person is trying to blackmail that girl who's messages this person read. Please tell me who should I contact and ask Zain Saudi Arabia that "THIS IS THE PRIVACY THAT YOU PEOPLE ARE PROVIDING TO OUR NATION" ?

Zain is charging me in WOW 115 bd for an sms that I did not activate or subscribe.. My company is deducting it on my salary which I could have used for my Kids school.. I hope that there is a LAW here in Bahrain to regulate this kind of trickery..maybe in the US you can sue this people.. Who in the person in the right Mind will accept half dinar per sms. I hope KARMA will not get in to this people.. Many complaints also about this on my friends. Other people experience this one..

The best network operator in the kingdom of KSA is zain iam using zain since from 2 years i never face any issues even i got many rewards such as free 300 voucher and lot of other gifts from Zain & there customer service is excellent better then sawa and mobily, i really had a bad experience with the customer service of SAWA & Mobily they dont have manners, some of the representatives of sawa & mobily shouted on me even in the branch they treat you badly. Thats why i left both of them and now im with Zain wonderful world because Zain has launched many attractive offers & packages for saudis & expatriates. in my opinion zain really cares about there customers.

i have been tricked the same way by a person calling himself imran.basically looked from pakistan and he told me the puk number later took recharge cards of sawa worth SR 9000.i wish that he and his fake gang gets punished here and also in akhirat.[protected].plz saudi government do something and hang those fraudsters.

12 month ago i goted a LAN line for DSL from STC
he saying now all connect box is full you have to wait 2 month
after comming new box i will give you DSL connection and your monthly fee 30 SR 2 month 60 SR
but i'm wait 2-3-4-5 month but nothink happan and i called fer week staff saying just wait more then 7-10 day
i also done becose i want it
after 6 month i goted from Mobily brothband you can ask why not get from STC brothband ? ans becoz on this place STC only 2G network i can't wnat 2G
after 6 month i called 907 i don't want your LAN/DSL but they don't want to close my account

Well, I am Saudi and I do I agree with the point that Zain service number 959 is bad quality service besides STC or 902. I was with STC, Mobily and now I am with Zain. I can tell that the best customer service number is 110 for Mobily.

Another point when it comes to Service branches, it depends on a customer's personal experience, so from mine I think that Zain is the best. It does not have to do anything with you as an Expatriate, but if you stay away from STC you probably are going to survive.

Remember that Saudi Arabia's Telecommunications market is now open with three service providers so why don't you just switch to another provider with the same cell number if you wish and save your mode.

I also agree. I have an experience same like this guy, it feels so racist at some point that they prioritize the saudi citizen only and acting like they don't see us (expats). And the zain staff are very lazy. They can't even explain the reason for whatever we are complaining to or asking. And yeah the 959 is terrible. If only there's a special network provider for expats... Oh well.
