The Wyndham website is defective! This has happened twice in 24 hours. I make a reservation for 06/19/25 using points. In a few minutes I receive confirmation. All good. Next day I receive a cancellation notice I didn't make. So today I try to re-book. It goes through ok only to find out the reservation is for today, not 06/19. So I cancel the 04/05 reservation within 15 minutes. I get cancellation confirmation but my points are not returned to me. I'm inside a big black hole. Wyndham Chat can't fix this. So I am in a phone line queue now 30 minutes.

We booked a room at Days Inn by Wyndham in Columbia, SC for 10/19/2025 for an agreed upon $. When we arrived we were told there was a $50.00 deposit added in for "incidentals." The room was filthy! It didn't even have a wastebasket in the room! We couldn't sit on the couch because it smelled so awful! The bedding was disgusting! When we checked out we were given a receipt for the correct $. When we got home I checked our Visa acct and saw that the $50.00 "deposit" had been added on to the room charge. We saw a policeman when we were leaving the motel and he said we were in an unsafe area. That's what being a Whydham Rewards Gold member gets for me? NO THANK YOU!
