Wyndham Rewards Baymont inn & suites, 2 lee blvd., savannah ga 31405

Hello Mr. Kevin Patel:

I am emailing you because it is your responsibility as the Manager of
Baymont Inn & Suites to address any and every complaint made by your paying
guests. You, Mr. Patel obviously didn't think that meeting with me as I
requested, Friday, September 30, 2016 at 9:00am, or calling, was important
to you. I was a guest in your hotel and was extremely disrespected,
discriminated against. I told your night Receptionist, Ms. Eboni Johnson,
on Thursday, September 29, 2016 between 10:20 & 10:45pm, that I urgently
needed to speak with you.
Ms. Johnson stated that she had contacted you concerning my complaint, and
that you would be in to see me at 9:00am.
I came down stairs for breakfast at 8:25am and told the current
Receptionist that I needed to speak with you. I was then told that you
would be at your other property, dealing with something important. I
suppose my complaint wasn't important enough for you to hear. I told her I
needed to speak with you before I checked out at 11.30am. I came back down
stairs requesting to speak with you at about 10:30am and was told that you
were still at the other property. The receptionist, stated that she didn't
know what time you would be back. I asked her if she told you that I needed
to speak with you and she said she did tell. I asked for a card with your
name/ number and went back upstairs. I called your phone number to speak
with you but I received your voicemail instead. I was not able to leave a
message due to your voice mail being full. I called back two more times
and received the message again that your voice mail was full.

I made two reservations to stay at your hotel, Baymont Inn & Suites,
located on 2 Lee Blvd., in Savannah, GA. I made these reservations for
Thursday, September 29, 2016 - Friday, September 30, 2016. My family and I
arrived at this hotel in a Silver BMW, 325-I and a Burgundy Honda Seneca.
Upon our arrival within the hotel parking lot, My husband and I observed a
guest on the ground floor of the hotel. The lady was to the right of the
registration desk, facing the parking lot, just watching us. We spoke to
her as we got out of the car but she didn't respond. She actually stood and
watched us walk in to the registration desk. We thought her reaction was a
little weird since our stay so far in Savannah was very pleasant.
We received rooms #244 & #246. As we got on the elevator to go to our
rooms, we saw her again but didn't really pay much attention. My family and
I were so very tired from the long day we had, and just wanted to go to bed
to get some sleep. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

My Complaint:
Now, it was around 10:00pm or slightly after when we actually got into our
rooms. We looked at both rooms and then decided who would be in what room.
We sat down long enough to turn the TV on and our oldest son Resean, knocks
on the door.
Resean told me and his Father that as he walked from around the corner
going towards his room (246), he saw Ms. Johnson standing in front of
another room. This was a few doors down, but before my room (244). Ms.
Johnson then walked towards him stating that a guest from downstairs had
complained about them slamming the doors and walking hard in their rooms.
She also stated that the guest didn't know what room it was, except that it
was upstairs. Resean told Ms. Johnson that the noise wasn't coming from
their room. He said that they were watching TV. Ms. Johnson then threatened
to throw my sons out of their hotel room, if the lady from down stairs came
back to the front desk complaining again.

The receptionist that checked us in was clocking out. Ms. Johnson was now
on duty as the night Receptionist. My Husband, Resean and I immediately
took the elevator back down stairs. This guest went back to the front desk
a 2nd time complaining of the same thing again. Ms. Johnson called my son's
room, telling Deajuan that she will have to throw them out of their hotel
room if their is 1 more complaint. As we approach the front desk, Ms.
Johnson told us of the complaints but neglected to tell us that she just
called my son's room. She stated that after 3 complaints, we would have to
leave w/o a refund. Now I reserved and paid for these rooms and the
Receptionist who checked me in was present during our 1st conversation with
Ms. Johnson.Neither of the employees, at anytime requested to speak to me,
since my name is on the reservation for both rooms.

During our conversation with Ms. Johnson, she stated that although she
didn't hear any loud noise of any kind, she believes the guest because my
son Resean, "is big", therefore he would walk heavy. I said, excuse me what
exactly is that suppose to mean? Ms. Johnson said that we'll I'm just
saying that y'all are a little on the heavy side. I interrupted her saying
that she had no right to say that being an employee at this hotel. I said I
couldn't believe that we were being disrespected like this. We checked in
and in less than 10 minutes, we were being singled out with false
accusations by another guest, threathened to be kicked out of our hotel,
humiliated and profiled by an employee. I requested to speak to the
Manager.

Ms. Johnson stated that you would be in at 9:00am. My family left the front
desk and proceeded back to our rooms. When we got upstairs, my youngest son
Deajuan told us that Ms. Johnson had called while we were downstairs. My
husband and I went back downstairs to speak to Ms. Johnson. We wanted to
move to different rooms. We felt like we were being targeted because we
were black. Our sons had to rest for their mid-terms the next morning, so
they were preparing for bed. My sons are not children, they are
responsible, respectful and educated young - adults. Ms. Johnson informed
us that the guest had yet again for the third time called and complained.
Ms. Johnson said that the guest also wanted to move but there were no more
rooms available.

Yet, she didn't tell us we had to leave. I expressed my concerns again and
we went back to our room. It began to rain. There was thunder and it was
lightening. I was extremely upset and I went back downstairs to speak to
Ms. Johnson again. I asked her if there was another Baymont that she could
put us in. I requested a refund and wanted my points returned to me. I paid
for one of my rooms with my credit card. The other room was paid for with
my Wyndham rewards membership points, (3000) to be exact. I was told that
the other hotel was not owned by your establishment, and that it wasn't as
nice looking as this one. Ms. Johnson then said that she could not refund
my money or my points. I told her that I didn't want to stay here anymore.
I just couldn't understand why that lady would lie like that and in the
extreme nature that she repeatedly presented, unless she was prejudice. Ms.
Johnson said well I'm not making you leave but if you do decide to go, that
I still can't recieve a refund. I said I'd stay and will speak to
Management in the morning.

Mr. Patel, I assure you that the treatment My family received during a stay
at this establishment was unsettling and deplorable. We stayed at Days Inn,
Travelodge, Howard Johnson and Quality Inn, before and after we checked in
to your hotel. All other hotel Owners and the Employees were over
whelmingly nice. They were very respectful and we even got a hug from 1 of
the Owner's, as we were checking out of their hotel. We were in the process
of looking for a home in Savannah. I unfortunately, suffered a mini-stroke,
after the storm had passed. That is why I was unable to get back in touch
with you sooner.

Wyndham Rewards Unethical behavior and advertising

Wyndham Rewards is a JOKE. They do not check the hotels they allow to be part of their "program". I made reservations at a wyndham property in Nashville (Days Inn by the airport). I show up at the property and it is disgusting. It's completely run down, paint peeling off the wall. My first encounter is with the front desk person who is completely incompetent. She tells me my credit card is declined. I call my credit card company and they say there is no transaction being run on the card. I tell her to try again and she tells me it's declined again. I give her another card, also declined. At this point I'm telling her there is some kind of issue. She's insisting it's not and that it's my cards. Then she says to me, "it says declined, no dial tone." I proceed to politely tell her that is not my card but there machine is not dialing out. So she gives me the key to the room and tells me she will call me when it is fixed. I go to the room and walk in. The first thing I see is this DISGUSTING couch with what looks like blood stains all over it. I flip the cushion over so the disgusting side is not upright and roaches go running everywhere! I screamed! Then I started looking around the room and there were roaches EVERYWHERE! It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Now I'm stuck at 6pm on a Friday night in Nashville trying to find a place to stay. I had to pay more than twice what I was supposed to pay and Wyndham did absolutely NOTHING! Disgusting. I'll be getting rid of my rewards program with them.

Wyndham Rewards Service not requested

I started getting Wyndham Rewards email thanking me for signing up for Wyndham Rewards. The account was in my boyfriend's name, but used my personal address, email address and phone number. I had to call Customer service to cancel the account. They had to speak with my boyfriend to cancel the account, even though it contained all my personal information. When I complained to a supervisor, I was told that neither of us had requested the Rewards service, but were signed up when we stayed at hotel. Is this legal? Can a hotel sign you up for a service that you do not request? I also had to use my personal time to cancel the service. There is no way to cancel online. Annoyed! I'm annoyed!

Wyndham Rewards Uninformed and rude and hotels have gone way down

Wyndham hotel brands which are franchised have really gone down hill.
Customer service is shoddy, rooms are worse, housekeeping watches television instead of cleaning, if there is a problem in the room they make you change rooms several times instead of repairing the problem.
Contacting the rewards program, the customer service people are fine but if you have an issue which requires a supervisor; good luck. Mine was rude, uninformed and hung up on me, after talking over me. She was not clear what my issue was because she would not listen. I would say three words and she immediately had the answer and gave a long answer which had nothing to do with what I was trying to ask about.

The worse service I have ever experienced. Won't use brand again.

Wyndham Rewards Useless points

We stayed for 8 weeks in the USA, mainly in Motels owned by the Wyndham Coorporation.

We to collect points to get to 16000 points to get a free stay in New York on our last night.

Wyndham constantly refused to give us points. It is totally intransparent if and why you get points with them.

We stayed in like 10 different hotels and were denied points in 3 hotels.

Also we enrolled in a special offer to get double points. those pointts show up only after 6 months so how *** is that.

We spend more money by booking there hotels and not using third party booking sides and were rewarded with nothing. I have 12900 points and can't use them because we go back to Germany...

I called them several times and send them emails how disapointed I am and that I felled cheated, but they only replyed in stereotype answers or standard texts.

So for me the Rewards Program turned into the opposite and I will try to NOT stay in a Wyndham Property in the future if I can get another place to stay!

I always look for Wyndam hotels to stay in to try and get rewards now that Im retire and able to travel more. But on my most recent trip Im finding out that these rewards are not worth the trouble and cost. My recent stay was at a Days Inn located on 2551 Smoky Park Hwy in Chandler NC 28715 U First off the rate of the room was 169.45 and Iwas told that the reason for the high rate was because of two different events and also because of the evacuation in florida due to the storm I did voice my opinion about taking advantage of these people.I had no choice but to stay seeing that I was traveling by motorcycle and just completed 500 miles of travel. But I was told that the hotel came with breakfast and dinner. After we settled in we went down to dinner an hr before dinner was ending and they were having mac and cheese for dinner this was bad enough but they were out of mac and cheese and their substitute was pinto bean soup and corn bread. Needless to say I only had a bowl of corn for dinner and was expecting a good breakfast the next morning. We got up early for breakfast and to our suprise the only thing they had for breakfast was scrambled eggs and corn bread their was no pastrys no sausage or bacon also no cereal or waffles we had to go else where to get breakfast . So after checking out and complaining we were given a 35% off for our next stay at a Wyndam Hotel that evening we attempted to stay at another and was told the coupon can only be redeemed at corp. office go only knows were that is.So this time I had a choice and went next door to another hotel and stayed there saving 60.00 on the room compaired to yours. I feel that the only way I will ever stay at another Wyndam hotel again is if I get a total refund for my 169.45 for my stay at the days in. Im looking foward to your response. My name is James Waczkowski you can respond to this email or check with Day Inn in Chandler Nc Phone there is [protected] to get my address and phone no. If I dont hear from you it will be your loss.

Wyndham Rewards Worst company ever

Wyndham rewards is the worst travel company out there. use at your own risk. their "stay 2 nights, get 1 night free is a fraud. they give you 6, 000 points but they increased the number of points at their hotels from 6, 000 to 10, 000. there are no hotels that accept 6, 000 points for a free night, it's a fraud!

When we travel, my partner (opposite sex, but different last names so they can't tell if we're married or not) and I usually use MY points card. However, he really prefers to have the bills that go to his credit card listed under his name, so one time a few years ago, I made the reservation under his name at his request. Well, the particular Wyndham place we were staying (a little dump near the Cleveland airport) insisted that because the reservation and the credit card had HIS last name, we couldn't use my points card. They pretty-well strong-armed us into opening an account for him. He didn't want an account & didn't want to mess around with points. I agreed that I'd handle both of our cards. The motel never indicated that this arrangement wouldn't be allowed, but it's been nothing but trouble. I later learned that these points expire, so now I have to switch back & forth between the 2 cards to keep them both active. But every time I have any question or problem, they refuse to speak to me about his card. I tell them that I'm his partner & handle all this business, but they just tell me that it's a "personal" points card & I can't do business for him. All of this could have been avoided if we'd had the same last name, but they think it's okay to discriminate against people who "might" be unmarried because of different last names. They tell me that he can call in, but that wasn't our deal. He can't be bothered about such things & would prefer that I just give up because they're never going to honor their points program anyway -- at least without being threatened by the Attorney General. Every time I talk to them or e-mail them (numerous times over the past few years), I've ended up in tears. The latest thing was because I couldn't answer the security questions on HIS account. I tried answering them as him & as me & even just a few cute whimsical non-answers, but honestly I don't even remember setting up those questions for his account. I told them to look at their records & see that both of our cards use the same email address (mine), but they keep sticking to the line that it's a "personal" card. The thing is that it's not -- if you have the same last name, you're allowed to use the other person's card because then they assume you're a married couple. And it's a ridiculous line anyhow -- lots of people in relationships or in business divide up their work in such a way that it's someone else who makes their travel plans for them. They tell me that he wasn't "forced" opening an account he didn't want to use, but they weren't at that Cleveland motel -- it was the only way we were going to get the points we'd EARNED. Not that it matters, because they're always trying to keep us from accumulating enough points to get anything anyway. Half of our stays don't even qualify for points because we got a discount or something, & then there's the whole thing with expiring points. Most of the motels of theirs that I've stayed at are basically dumps, although there are a couple that I stay at pretty regularly that really are pretty okay & have nice staff so I'd like to keep giving them my business. I mean, those places actually seem to want my business. But the problem is with the rewards points company because those people are always rude and couldn't care less if I'd ever stay with them again (& always make me cry -- which takes some doing!).

Wyndham Rewards Low credit line

We were sold on obtaining the Wyndham Rewards credit card to help offset maintenance fees. Our cards arrived today with a $500 credit limit rendering these cards totally useless to compile any significant reward points. Both our credit scores are over 800, so that is not the problem. We called the number on the card but they could or would not increase the credit limit. So now we wonder how a sales representative at the Wyndham Smoky Mountains can use the Rewards credit card to pay mortgage and monthly big ticket items to gain points? That same use was what we planned but now we have canceled the cards. This is a big disappointment and reflects poorly on the entire Wyndham Vacation Resort system and all their "programs". TLP

I stayed one night at this substandard Super 8 motel on Sept 15, 1909. I just saw it and checked in. I gave them my Wyndham Rewards number and the clerk said nothing about any special rate or non qualifying rate and that the stay would be honored. There was a charge of $71.27 on my Amex card which is more than it was worth. When I inquired at customer...
