I went in to get an emergency root canal. I got a full x-ray, was pressured to get an unnecessary gum treatment not covered by any insurance, was walked through my options, and then was told my treatment (which was going to be wayyyy more than just a root canal) total after insurance was close to $10,000. I decided to only get two root canals and used my credit card for a $250 dollar deposit. I made an appointment for 6/23/22 with a root canal specialist. I got a call a few days before my appointment that the specialist wasn't able to see me that day, so I cancelled everything and told them I'd be going to another dentist so I could get what I needed done.

When I called customer service to close my account and cancel everything I was told that it was cancelled and that I would reciever my refund in 4-6 weeks. 4 weeks went by, no refund. When I called again I was told I had to go into the office and sign a contract cancellation paper, which I did. at this point, I had paid a $250 deposit and a $130 automatic payment was made to my account. This was 7/25/22. Thankfully no further payments have been charged.

Then I called in September to check on my refund, they said from that point they put in the refund request, and that it would take up to 45 business days. That means I would recieve a refund sometime in mid November. I have to yet to see a refund. I am owed close to $380.

I have taken all my family to western dental for years and years never had a problem I took my son aiden garcia on 10/03/2022 due to having pain in mouth he was seen by dr and was shown the problem where his 4 wisdome tooth they SAID THEY WOULD REQUEST REMOVAL AND SEDATION AUTHORIZATION then they scheduale me for a braces consult suzy garcia read out a contract of almost 7thousand dollars I said I rather first take care of problem of wisdome I explaime due to financial problems time pass and pass I ask on 11/07/2022 when aiden took x kays about status of authorization for wisdome teeth they said 6 to 8/ more weeks for respond at this point my son aiden is suffering with pain missing school he was pull out by primary dr due to sevier pain then they gave me a appnt for 11/29/[protected]@12.00 then I call dental ins they said they never recieave a request for sedation only bill for dates seen

now they said will refered out for another dr its insane my son has been suffering all this time I find it verry unprofesional that he was put thru this for no reason or because suzy garcia all she care was for the contract and not for my sons pain I would like a further investigation on this office it seems she has all threth then she had me talk to a jonathan munono claiming was her supervisor which he said cannot provide me his number I am so confuse I never had an experience like this never truly maria garcia [protected] at the end they refered him out some were else

My daughter alexis downing got braces at this location in Palm Springs, California.

She was promised a partial refund of 500 because she was moving to Kansas and her teeth still had a gap, so she had to keep the braces on. The 500 dollars would cover the removal of the braces and for the retainer which was in the contract that she had paid for this upfront when they put the braces on for when it was the right time to have the braces removed.

On her last appt Western Dental told her the money would be sent to her account.in two weeks. So, my daughter noticed that this hasn't been done yet, so she reached out again and all they do is play these games with her. She has called them several times and they play games with keeping her on hold multiple times for an hour and then they disconnect the call, and they laugh at her. This is not good business practice as this is childish behaviors whereas they have no intentions of sending her the money that was promised to her because they keep dodging her phone calls always giving excuses, keeping her on hold for an hour on multiple occasions disconnecting her calls to where she has to keep calling them. This is very sad that this behavior exists as my daughter saved her own money so she could pay for her own braces. Western dental is showing a bad example of customer service in every possible way. What a disgrace.! They should shut that place down as I see on yelp all they have is bad reviews.

Which comes to another thing I have to mention. Prior to my daughters last appointment, they bribed her into giving them a good review on yelp and she would get a free whitening kit included whereas the whitening kits was already free and that was part of the braces contract. Telling her that she will get a free item if she gives a good review is manipulative. I also called them today and told them that if they don't pay her what they owe her that we are going to open up a class action lawsuit to see how many other people they did this too and they hung up on me too. They hung up on my daughter today as well and she is going to keep calling them every day till they pay her.

She even called their corporate office and all they do is they play games.

I just don't understand it.

I arrived for my appointment at 3:01 that was one minute past the time I was supposed to be here the doctor was not even here now it’s going on 5 o’clock and I still haven’t seen it yet all the other patients who arrived after me got seen I am really upset by this and I would like something done as I’m about to walk out this is crazy I’m not seeing patients I came in after me be seen before me

On 08/19/2022 I went to western dental orthodontist where I had a 2 pm appointment. Everyone was friendly and very nice and helpful. Around 3:30 pm the so called orthodontist began my dental work I was having braces put on the whole time during the procedure she talked and laughed with the other orthodontist I had to keep asking if they could do the suction because I was unable to swallow due to my mouth being wide open. It took her a minimum of maybe 20 minutes to get done she did not take her time at all. So when I made it home I was so excited about showing off my gold and pink braces that I never looked in the mirror at them. Oh not to mention I paid $4512.24 for these braces included all my appointments and work for a duration of a year. I was very disappointed when I finally looked in the mirror because I had gotten a whole in my upper lip when I saw haw she had placed these braces on my teeth I was out done. So I went to this dentist on wheels just to see if I could get some wax and I asked her opinion she immediately told me that they were not placed in the correct location of my teeth. Bottom line I have not been able to enjoy my braces because I am constantly having this wax on not one or two braces but the top and bottom of almost every brace in my mouth.

In September of 2020, I started what was to be 6 months of dental work to give me a new smile. I had Care Credit, and Delta Dental. I had my bill paid off in about 4 months. My contact was paid off, or what I thought until this week when I was contacted by a debt collector. I was told that my insurance failed to pay for the remaining balance in March ‘21. They sent my account to a debt collector without ever contacting me or working with me to resolve the matter. It’s been a 16 months since I completed my account, just to have this. The balance due is $1000.

I went to get dentures. They gave me exam and cost and payment plan agreed on. They took first payment that day. When I got home looked at paperwork and they had my Ex wifes name down as name on my debit card, and her name on my western Dental account as account when she was not even present and has nothing to do with anything. I brought to attention to office and they said they would fix. . My next appointment for teeth extraction I was unable to make, before I could call reschedule I get call from western Dental billing asking for my ex wife about my account. I tried to explain that was a mistake and it as my account he was inquiring about and I would make payment at that time. He just hung up on me. I had lost my debit card I used first time and was issued another that I would pay with. two more times billing called and hung up on me. One was supposedly a supervisor. Since then I try making appointment and they tell my they have to call me back ,but never do. Since the payments are not going through because the dumb *** wont help to straighten things out , it seems they will not set appointment for me. So many times I call to straighten their mess and always they say they will call me back, The only one that calls back is that stupid **** that hangs up on me

In March 2021, I signed a contract with Western dental. They promised me to complete orthodontics for more than a year. For more than a year, I cooperated with doctors to wear braces for more than 20 hours a day. After a year and a half, my teeth were not corrected to their proper position.

During the more than a year of orthodontics, every time I went to the clinic, the doctor only mechanically gave me new braces and not gave me any advice at all. I knew nothing about my treatment process. Every time I asked the doctor a question, he said he didn't know.

After a year and a half of treatment, I was told that I still need to wear braces for another year, and my teeth have not improved. I asked the doctor, and the doctor also answered that there was nothing he could do.

Every time I go to this dental clinic, I have to wait for more than an hour to see the doctor, and the doctor's attitude is very bad. I remember when I had a dental scan, the doctor sent three inexperienced assistants to help me scan, but everyone failed and wasted me two hours.

Hello, I went to western dental because as a child I my mother took me there and I had a positive memory. Started treatment in November or December 2021missed my second appointment because my children and I tested positive for covid (I work at a nursing home) went to my rescheduled appointment and that's where everything went south got chewed out for not going to the other appointment and the orthodontist was sooooo rude I asked if she could explain to me the whole process I was going to go thru, to which she said someone will come and change your elastic bands. A dental assistant came when I asked her, she relayed the question to the orthodontist who was right behind us with another patient to which she yelled 3 times I already told her. I left I tears and confused...

I decided I no longer want services due to misconduct on behalf of the orthodontist (to which I do not have the name since she didn't even introduce herself when initiating "care" and did not ask since I was overwhelmed with emotional distress. Now I am being charged 2400 dollars because of the top part of braces that was put on my teeth supposedly because of one thing then they said another thing etc. The whole professionalism at this place is just ridicoulus

I was treated for cancer last year and well chemotherapy was my kryptonite I through up morning to night all day all night every day for months. After getting cleared by my Dr to go to the dentist I could not weight Went in to western dental after a couple canceled appointments finally made it Dentist walks in you dont like to brush your teeth there so yellow I was mortified she did a light cleaning that was suppose to be a deep cleaning wow I had two cavities My next appointment canceled Then I come in for cavities and im told I need crowns instead never had crowns but ok lets get this fixed my teeth were grounded down looks crazy got impressions then made temporary crowns dentist says two weeks and I get my permanent crowns 2 weeks go by my appointment is canceled next week appointment canceled its been three weeks I say I want another dentist this is crazy my appointment keep getting canceled next week I get an appointment with the other dentist in the office he cant put the crowns on they dont fit after waiting 3 weeks for this it does not fit. I was made a appointment for the next week 4 weeks of temporary crowns got impressions made again more temporary crowns told I now have to weight 3 weeks for permanent crowns still weighting 2 months of my life trying to get what I was told would be two weeks HELP

I have been a patient here since 2019 I have had on my braces on for two years and have not been seen by the office in the past year and a half. I was not able to afford my braces at one point and the payments were sent to collections I took care of the payments over the course of months. I have so much pain in my mouth and gums and I have my wisdom teeth growing in. Cuts and bleeds through my teeth and gums. It is so painful and i cannot bear it anymore. I understand where my responsibility comes in but I am trying now to work with them and they were refusing me service they call me a day before my appointment and tell me that I won’t be seen until another month because I have five people waiting in front of me. Why a day before why make me wait so long just to tell me I have to wait more. Even when I made my appointment I explain my situation twice and I feel ignored because how is an office going to have walk-ins welcome how are they gonna have three consolations for braces for just anyone but cannot attend to their own patients. I need these off And the person helping me over the phone told me that I can only be seen at this office only I just want these braces to come off and just be dismissed as a patient. I have tooth ache after tooth ache how can they accept walk in emergencies but not me? I feel so ignored and so upset I just want this resolved.

Hi my name is V I was seen by the western dental near me due to pain on my left side they told me u needed 3 root canals, cavaties worked on, teeth cleaning, and gum disease i was petrified and did not feel comfortable at all where I was at so I decided to get another dental opinion found a better dental office that isn't western dental able guys what after getting fresh x rays there they told me no I was mistaken I don't have 3 root canals I only have 1 root canal needs work on 2 cavaties and deep cleaning I was livid at western dental for misdiagnosing me and got a better deal at this new dental office to I'm so glad I decide to go elsewhere... I'm gonna be scheduling the root canal soon to... look forward on getting my tooth cleaned up and done soon...

I was said in chat with customer service that X-ray and examination is free to new customer having no insurance.

But when I went to Western Dental office, on day of my appointment, I was told that I have to join membership and pay $ 165.00

Even on front door it is written that X-ray and examination is free.

I came out without examination.

It is big cheating, say free, but refuse to honour what they say.

They charged my insurance and told me to apply for carecredit which I did and they haven't started treatment. Their excuse is that their dentist called in. They have done that multiple times. They made an appointment for me and when I went in They made it for xrays something that was done last month and I told them I'm here for something else then they told me that they have to reschedule. I had enough of there [censored] and now I'm waiting to speak with someone I'm hoping I can get my money back since I haven't had any procedures done
