I got a letter in the mail in September for $*** saying I was their patient on 3/17, but I never went there. My kids went there, but not since 2019. I called the billing office and left a message asking for an explanation, thinking maybe they mixed up my name with someone else. They never called me back. A week later, I got another notice saying I was seriously behind on payment with the same info. I called again, but no one got back to me. And now today, 10/30, I got a collection notice saying I still owe the ***. I never even went to this dental office, and no one has called me to explain anything.

Me and my fam have been going to your dental group since 2014, but now only my wife still goes. The problem is with your billing/collections team. I did some math and out of the 27 appointments we had since December , only 10 were done right. That's like a 37 percent success rate - which is not cool! Here's what I noticed: - Insurance payments were called VISA/MC payments (happened three times) - They recorded separate insurance payments as one payment (happened three times) - They put payments on the wrong person's account (happened twice) - Insurance payments were put on the account five months after they were processed (happened once) - Insurance payments were put on the account nine months after they were processed (happened once) I get that these are just administrative stuff and don't affect the money, but it shows that they don't pay attention to details when it comes to billing. But wait, there's more: - They overcharged me seven times - The fees for the same stuff keep changing (fluoride went from $27 to $20 to $45 to $50 to $45 to $22) - They didn't apply an insurance payment six times - They randomly canceled some amounts twice (maybe they messed up insurance payments, but the amounts didn't match) - They added two "fee schedule increases" for no reason at all Basically, they say I owe them $198.50 (not counting the appointment on 27-Feb-20, 'cause insurance wasn't done yet). I emailed them a bunch of times asking for info, but they never replied. If they kept good records, applied insurance payments correctly, and didn't make mistakes, I would actually have a $124.50 CREDIT. It's not right to demand payment from someone who actually has a credit just 'cause they can't do their job right!
