Waffle House customer service

I walked into the new location in Baker, Louisiana. It was extremely busy so I stood at the register to place my to go order. The young lady Jerrell saw me did not greet me nor asked for my order. She walked off from me several times and did not utter a word to me. She appeared to have a very nasty attitude. I continue to wait and she looked me in my face and still didn't say a word to me. Another young lady walked up greeted me and took my order she was very nice. Jerrell needs to be coached on her customer service skills and attitude or she will make customers not want to return

Waffle House food

Although I've been to waffle house numerous times before this was a visit that concerns me. While visiting the Waffle house on west colonial in Orlando, fl. Only to be disappointed attached is the picture of watered down grits which were way too lumpy as well. Me and my fiancee didn't stay to eat..ended up going down the street to another restaurant. My thoughts are if the food is not of quality at least tell the customers sorry we do not have any at this time.

Waffle House poor customer service

We went to the Waffle House in Lake Worth Texas and it was the worst experience I had, our order was wrong, after we got our food the waitress never came back, we went to leave and had to wait for her to come and total our check. Ask to speak to the manager and after waiting she acted like it was an inconvenience because she was ready to go home. I understand shift change as I used to work for Waffle House..but this was unacceptable ..i would somewhat understand If they had been busy but we were the only customers in the building

Waffle House never got served

We came in about 9:15 before heading to a interview to get a bite to eat one of the employees ask did we want the front counter but we told her no we would take the booth so we stood there and talked for a minute and notice that the table still wasnt cleaned and no one acknowledge that we were their. One employee wipe off every table but the one we were waiting for and another went and sat next to a customer and started a conversation we were there about 15 minutes before we walked out.

Waffle House employees attitude and language

I went to have something to eat with some friends from out of town and there's a woman there (white). It was like about 330 am on a Thursday. We went in and sat down she was outside smoking, we were sitting on tables close to the restroom for aalmost eight minutes before she finally came in from her cigarette break to tend to us. Man can she curse f this f that to that poor kid on the grill, i felt sorry for him. That kind of language is unacceptable.

Waffle House teenagers

I had come in after work on april 21st, only wanting a warm meal before bed, while there I had witnessed a young girl bring 2 of her friends into the back, obviously not employees while cursing and bad mouthing the cook working. Afterwards I had witnessed them smoking marijuana in the back, strong odor reaching to my car. Will never eat their again.

Waffle House unethical behavior

To whom this may concern in the Waffle House complaint department, my name is Doris Washington and I am a current employee at store 550 in Sandy Springs, GA. Recently all employees had to sign a talk with and listen to document that Mike Schneider conveyed was needed for all employees to complete as acknowledgement of our compliance with his management. At that given time I mentioned to Mike Schneider that I would like to talk to him while he expedited the signing of the document. But because he stated it needed to be turned in by a certain date; he quickly said okay we'll set it up soon. But from the date of the sign document I have yet to address or speak with Mike in reference to my concerns and complaints but as of Saturday evening at 10:30 pm of April 21, 2018; I had been notified of my schedule had been modified due to minor complaints against myself from Mike Schneider that I had no knowledge of. And before we get into them, I would first like to state that I am a uniform employee that is diligent with being on time, if not overly efficient with being there for my shift and I take my job performance very seriously. I've worked in the Waffle House establishments since 2000, returning back with the company in 2017. I trust that I've preformed and presented myself of its standard and I know I should be treated equally as such.
On Sunday April 22nd 2018, I checked a message I had received from the night before in reference to a change in the schedule for the upcoming week (the next day). With the drastic change in the schedule I knew something wasn't right and immediately contact my manager (Mike Schneider) inquiring about the alteration and what was the cause. With a very caviler explanation initially; Mike explained that he was experimenting with the schedule due to hiring of new employees. While I understand that; my hours had dropped from 35 hours to 28 hours which effects my insurance and I wasn't given a chance to address my concerns with that before he completely change my available hours to work. While he further gave premature reasons such as; an empty napkin dispenser and minor phones usage (Which I primarily use for a calculator or music for the jukebox) as to why he made the changes; I automatically sense that I was being either picked on or discriminated against. Though I'm not the perfect employee; I do work hard and I enjoy my placement at The Waffle House. I work a specific shift due to my age and availability and if there was any changes within the company that has a direct impact as such changes did; I should have been notified for the proper adaption and/or acceptance.
And due to not receiving the proper de for this situation; this is hereby a direct complaint that I signed a document for The Waffle House, along with other employees that granted me a certain right to address my management of concerns and I was not afforded that option. And in the effect; I have had financial losses due to me not being able to work the alternate schedule Mike Schneider has provided, in addition to the uncomfortable work environment because the aggressive changes made by management. By bringing this matter to a higher authority; I hope my concerns have been taken into consideration for me being able to resume my initial first shift schedule at store 550 in Sandy Springs and have any underlining issues addressed upfront for the resolution and succession in the work place. I do wish to return back working at the location I started at, but if there are alternatives to resolve this matter; please contact me back immediately with such resolutions.

Waffle House unauthorized credit card charges

On Sunday April 15, 2018, I ordered breakfast for carryout that consisted of bacon eggs grits toast, small juice and large coffee. To my surprise, when I picked up and went to pay, I was told my breakfast was 14.49. I was like wow ok the food is good so i am cool..After I paid with my credit card I ask for a receipt. The waitress did not offer the receipt, but when i ask for a breakdown, it was like i told a joke, she laughed. I thought about this two days later and checked my card and she not on only charged 14.00 plus for breakfast, she added herself a 4.00 tip. WOW! Thanks

Waffle House your employees ashley curtis clara curtis and their manager

On Friday April 6 2018 was there getting my stepdaughter ur employees called the police on us take in mind we have been picking up my stepdaughter for 2 years at the waffle house in morrilton Arkansas. We had no clue that Ashley an Clara both worked there ur manager called the police on my husband 2 cops blocked my car in an scared 2 12 year old girls. Needless to say after it was said an done we were let go cause the police believed us but it after we was trying to leave your manager and Clara video taping it with waiting costumers in y'alls restaurant flipping me an my friend off thats not only unprofessional but i will never set foot in any Waffle house again.

Waffle House jukebox too loud at 8:30 am

The employees play the music in the early morning while some people like to enjoy their breakfast in some sense of peace and quiet . It's very annoying. I do like music any kind just not that early in the morning. I'm speaking for others who don't know how to use the internet. And don't know who to complain to. We have contacted the managers several times on different occasions. But it happens just about on a daily basis .

Waffle House manager at west walnut waffle house in dalton georgia

I have been going to this waffle house for a while now. I have seen the manager get real ugly with his employees. He uses very strong language thinking that the woman that work there will be afraid of him and not say anything. Ive seen him push of the waitresses out of the store and told her to not back until he is "god damn ready for her to." This manager is very ugly and acts this way because he is the only man among woman. And for him to be the boss. No. He is abusive.

Waffle House food preparation

The manager was cooking my food while talking and touching her personal cell phone. This is a very unsanitary practice. She then became very irrate when my waitress inforned her of my concerns. The manager then put her phone down on the wooden food prep counter in front of the grill, and began slamming pots down on the stove while remaking my order. She didn't even change her plastic gloves she was wearing that she was using to text on her phone. She kept them on while remaking my food. My waitress kept apologizing to me and said that there was nothing that she could do because the lady that made my food was the manager.

Waffle House how employees embarrassment people

The tidiness of banging on the bathroom door. And to tell some one to hurryvup have customers waiting. There was no one rushing to get up go. I didn't know there was time limit your cook was out line and shoukd show. Respectto someone older and not assume that he was in there doing drugs. He is fifty five my bf is. And how darr your cook make such a appauling move like that. We are in thee all the time on i17 and bell rd. In phoenix az. Ge owes appologie. And so does the waitress from earlier. Not busy. I walked in to per was told no. How dare they act like that. The employees are all slobs but act snobby I don't think so at our age we don't deserve that from someone in there twenties

Unwilling never go to the waffle house off of i17 and bell rd. The cook was embaressing cause my boyfriend. Wasb taking a crab and yell to him. To hurry he been in there to long. We ll when mybbf came out whatvlittle people in there were not rushing to get. He assumed my bf of 55. Was in there shooting up. He doesnt do that so nerve of him. It had best be handle. Plus earlier I couldn't go in to per and there again hardly no one in there the rude waitress. Then watch time. I didnt knowbwhrn someone has to [censor] therebis a time limit. Maybe your cook need to gobif not. I will file mother. One and onother one

I work at a corporate call center. We order food on a regular basis at this location. 3 out of 4 orders were incorrect. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with city ham, cheese, fried egg, and tomato on Texas toast. Hashbrowns with cheese and ham... The hashbrowns did not have cheese. I advised Gail (mgr)the orders were wrong. She told my colleague, "ok what do you want me to do about it"?

Waffle House different shifts different rules?# 1407

I was wondering if marking plates was optional now, and if the cook is allowed to throw full force everything into the dish area, regardless if any one is there or not? Plate marking is to keep mistakes from happening, but one cook doesn't do it and there have been mistakes that gets blamed on wait staff by the person in question. The person is confrontational about it and this has kept quite a few others from shifts they work.

Waffle House service

Around 9:45 PM February 23, my wife and I arrived at Waffle House, Byram, MS. There was no greeting at the door, so we stood there a few minutes and then decided to seat ourselves. After looking over the menu and ready to place our order approximately 15 minutes has pass and still no one has acknowledged us. Including us there was 6 customers in the restaurant. Several more minutes past as it became obvious that we were not getting service. What has happened to good customer care. I'm highly disappointed in the service I didn't receive and equally disappointed it happened in a city I like to spend my money in. I would discourage anyone that would plan on visiting this restaurant until service improves.

Waffle House employment

I worked for store #1023 for over a year. First shift is and has always been managers favorite shift so it's understandable why everybody knows everybody business before the subject knows. I was terminated yesterday for a video misunderstanding and I feel that it is wrong for Brian Casteen to show my personal business to anybody. I want to file a complaint against him and the company. I reconciled the situation yesterday as requested and I'm still not being given just due

Waffle House foul language and rude staffing

I went to waffle house 1382 in Ridgeway SC on a Saturday night about 2 weeks ago. There was a Mexican looking guy cooking, and 2 wait staff. 1 was a red headed woman named Red and the other was a black man named Ratio. The lady was running around like a chicken with her head cut off while the black man was sitting with the police. She kept looking at him like she needed help and he never did help. The place was packed. At one point I heard him call her a Yankee Cracker. This was very in appropriate. I eat here often and that boy is always ride and never groomed.

Forgot to mention I was told today that thE LADY WITH red hair named Red was let go. I want to know why the young black man named tarrlio or however you spell it is still there. I blatentely heard him call her derogatory names and he wasn't working at all and was extremely lazy. As he is every night I go in there. Most of the staff there are high on drugs. So why does 1 person get let go that actually works but yet staff that do drugs and steal food AND money and don't help thier coworkers at all still allowed to work? I have never had a problem with the day shift staffing. The night shift staff tho, is to be desired. A big lady named tee tee is very rude and condescending towards customers. She never wears a hair net and wears pants so tight and see thru. I will now take my business to blythwood!

Waffle House employees

I was in the waffle house in evergreen alabama and my son and I had just sat down. I saw at the high bar that there was a young girl and her friend sitting there. I overheard the girl ask the cook who was working who was on the shift with him. He said himself, the waitress who waited on us, and another girl. The girl then said "well I dont want that b*h waiting on me so I'll wait for the next to get here." Our waitress, Eva, then proceeded to wait on us. The girl at the highbar then started yelling about not getting service. Our waitress ignored her comments and apologized for her behavior and told us that the girl, Ashley, worked here. Ashley continued to yell and so did her friend. Our waitress called our order and walked over to an elderly man and began to take his order, and at this time, Ashley began to say racial slurs towards Eva, then walked over to where Eva was taking an order and began yelling at her and over her customer. Eva was very professional about it all, didn't respond back to anything and let that girl yell and scream at her until she walked off the floor into the back. If this is how this waffle house does things, you can count me out of ever coming back in here. Its not right that anybody should take that kind of abuse from anyone, if they work there or not.

Waffle House uncleanliness and unprofessional behavior

My boyfriend and I went to Waffle House location at 1010 E Thomas St, in Hammond, LA 70401 this part Saturday. We entered at approximately 10 am and sat at the low-bar. Behind the bar was dirty, with trash on the floor. Our server, Dee, was dressed unprofessionally. Her uniform shirt was too tight, dirty, and did not reach the top of her pants. I could see the pink tag to her underwear, and she kept wiping her hands on her bottom or placing them on the exposed skin on her back. Additionally, she did not bring me a drink for the entire visit and she did not bring my boyfriend's waffle until ten minutes after I had been served and he had his meal.in fact, she didn't even put the waffle in the waffle iron until another customer reminded her that his had not come out either. Otherwise, the staff appeared clean and friendly. I just feel rather reluctant to visit that store location again after my experience with my server, especially when she was helping prepare food. My receipt number from my visit was 646963.
