Village Inn Restaurants review: skipped over while waiting to be seated

Time: About 10 AM

Went to VI with my granddaughter for breakfast and my name was put on the list. Was told there would be about a 10 minute wait which was OK with me. After about 20 minutes and watching parties who came in after we did get seated, I checked the list and my name was crossed off as being seated. We were waiting inside and my name was not called. I pointed it out to the hostess. I did not get the name of the hostess or the manager. I left before I said anything embarrassing. Suggest training or retraining of personnel responsible for seating customers when store is busy as it was today. My favorite server, Barb, works at this store and I would hate not going back to this store because of this preventable incident. I have been here many times, mostly for dinner, and have never had a complaint or problem.
