Verizon's new business model is to close the 'corporate' stores and allow 3rd party vendors to sell their product. The vendor I used in Corry, PA was horrendous. I was sold a false bill of goods, charged for equipment I did not get/use, and when I complained about the overbilling (after them telling me that I would not be billed) they hung up on me.
Every time you call Verizon, you get a different person, and they require you to tell your situation over, and over again. After six months of this, I decided to leave and paid FULL PRICE for my iPhone 17's to the tune of $2400 in person, via a secure payment. 30 days later, my phone is still locked - although I was told by a Verizon 'tech' that my phone was NOT locked - and I am unable to get away from this awful company without purchasing a new phone with a different carrier. I have wasted countless hours on the phone with their customer 'service' and only wish I had been warned of the absolute horror I would endure by signing with Verizon.
Stay away. If you do, you will never know the grief this accounting has spared you, but be assured, if you sign up with them, you will regret it eventually.
