Verizon review: FIOS internet service

One of the worst internet service providers in the NJ area. In 7/2026, fios internet service was not working. I called Vz tech support after attempting to resolve the issue. The Vz agent tried to sell a 80$ 1 gb internet plan with tech support, 35$ more than my current plan and would not fix the internet issue after waiting on the phone for an hour and twenty minutes. I got fed up by the unpredictable internet service i.e. up/working and no its down. I called 7/13/26 to end my residential service because I had no service on 7/10/26 and did not want service until 7/24/26 in the billing cycle. This was not the first time. On 6/24/2026, the internet service was down between 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. On 6/29/2026, the internet service was down between 10:06 am to 2:00 pm. On 6/30/2026, the internet service was down between 10:34 am to 2:20 pm. My account should receive a credit but Verizon refuses to communicate. Verizon has closed the fios account and no VZ agent has connected my calls to their Verizon FIOS department nor its billing department.

Customer service is the worst and their fios unreliable, Vz won't resolve their issues. If I could give no stars they deserve it.
