On August 10, 2026, Hopewell, Virginia had a terrible windstorm or twister.

I filed a claim and an adjuster come out about a week later. I did everything I could do to mitigate the damage 3 trees rooted off of fence and clothing line, roof damage to my house, roof damage to my shed, leak to my ceiling from roof damage.
USAA was not here to help me.

Claimed loss: fence, clothing line, roof damage to my home and shed.

Desired outcome: I already paid $4200 to remove trees and haul away. The adjuster basically told me to get the remaining items fixed and repaired and then send in for review for reimbursement. This is ridiculous.
