I’ve been a rewards member of Ulta since 2010. Through the years I’ve spent a good amount of money shopping for beauty products and utilizing their salon. I received an email from Ulta saying I was just a few dollars away from being upgraded to the highest rewards status. I make a qualifying purchase and they still did not update my membership status.
I reached out to customer service and they claim my contact information doesn’t match their records. I don’t see how that’s possible when my current and correct information shows on the Ulta app. Otherwise, how would I have been able to make purchases and how would they contact me if my information didn’t match.
Clearly that is a blatant lie on Ultas end and or the representative either doesn’t know how to do her job and or just doesn’t want to assist me. There has been other instances where I’ve been cheated out of my points, birthday gift redemption and over charged at salon visits where the stylist would add on services to my ticket and not telling me before hand that those services where extra.
I don’t like complaining about things but I feel like since 2010 till 2025 I shouldn’t be getting scammed and cheated by a business I’ve been loyal to. Honestly, it’s not worth it. I seek no monetary compensation I just wanted to voice my frustration about this issue. I’m just going to close my account with Ulta.
