Ulta Beauty Not properly stocked. Ever.

The Ulta located on I-45 in Conroe, Texas is a disgrace. Firstly, I have been shopping at this location for the last 5 years and it’s NEVER STOCKED. The shelves are basically empty and when you complain about it, they say the same thing, “Well, maybe check back with us after Tuesday because we’re expecting a delivery. Maybe it’ll be in that shipment.”. Well, that delivery must be coming by way of Mars because it never brings stock. Other ULTA’s are not this low on stock. I also live 70 miles away, so when I come in and what I was wanting isn’t in stock, I cannot just run back up there after Tuesday. The staff there are incompetent and they’re always standing around talking to one another. Last time I went in, there were 6 employees standing in the middle of the store talking and laughing loudly. I finally had someone come over and ask if I needed anything and I told her, “Yes, your manager.”. Manager came and I asked her why THIS location is always virtually empty? She ignored my question and asked what product I was needing, and I pointed to the entire Laura Mercier section and said, “THAT!”. She gave a weak [censored] excuse about Covid causing things to be out. I asked her why it is then that I go to the nearest store in The Woodlands and they have stock! I spent $900 there because my son was getting married and I was doing the bride’s makeup, but I’m fed up with this store, and I’m ready to pay off my account and never shop there again.

Desired outcome: A Regional Manager or a higher manager go there undercover and see for themselves how atrocious this location is.

Ulta Beauty Unnecessary encounter

7/9/2022: Sadly I will not be supporting Ulta anymore. Tomorrow is my birthday. I go to Ulta and spend 320 Dollars. I pull out my birthday coupon got the 10 dollars off and I asked for my birthday gift. Lady at the desk tells me I can’t receive it because it one coupon per purchase! Even through it was one coupon with two scan things. Literally states free gift. I did not even bother arguing. Sephora never gives me issues. Plus ulta points make no sense. I got 1000+ points for what? Because redeem anything is always an issue.

On top of that last year (sep or nov), my ulta master credit card was declined because they have a policy that you need to use your actual card within certain amount of purchase with card look up. Reminded you I pay off the card and always spend 300+ dollars every time and was never informed of this. Never had a issue until last year been doing it for 2 years with no issues. Not only was I super embarrassed in public, but the lady I spoke to for the card customer service was so rude. I literally had to hang up and speak to someone who wasn’t so rude and aggressive. I never have a good experience with this company.

Ulta Beauty Haircut

Went in for a haircut and made it very clear to my stylist Michael that this was my first cut at a salon, so I wanted him to work with me. I wanted the dead ends cut off of my waist-length hair and layers. I wanted to be able to braid my hair and put it into a bun. He confirmed a 4-inch cut exactly once, held the hair up, sure, that's fine. I didn't get to see what he was doing until he was done, and now my hair only goes about three inches past my shoulders. He kept saying how he knew I would be "shocked". If you knew I would be shocked why didn't you communicate with me better?

He cut at least ten inches off of my hair. I can no longer even get it into a short braid. I am so devastated. I've been sobbing for two days. I didn't get my receipt because I was going to start crying in the store. Awful. It will take years for my hair to grow back.

Went to Ulta to speak with them, they informed me that this was my fault and that they only cut off six inches. You be the judge to whether those before and after pics look like six inches or not. I was not offered a refund.

Desired outcome: Whatever you think is best. Contact me at [protected]@gmail.com

Ulta Beauty Over charged scam

On the 4th of July 2022 at 1:45 pm in the San Diego location located in the Mission Valley area. I took my daughter for a hair appointment, Her appointment was for a blowout but my daughter decided to have a style by having it curl. He hair was a little damp the hairstylist blow dryered her hair. The problem was that she did not make me aware that she was going to charge me for two services. If I would known I would jf ust have her due a blowout. I asked her why didn't you make me aware? She did not respond. The total chage was $78 for something that should of been $32

It was not even washed or cut,, just curled with the flat iron. Very bad service and I felt taken advantage of.. I been going to Ulta for a long time but not that location. Thank you

Desired outcome: Yes I need someone to look into this. Phone [protected]. Please refund.

Ulta Beauty Sales Associate Harrassment

I was a customer at store #1303 on 6/22/2022. I parked in your curbside pick up spot. I realize it probably wasn't my best decision to remain parked there after my shopping was complete. However, there is no signage sing indicating I'd be in any sort of violation otherwise. I ran a few more errands that are located within the same strip mall and also became distracted and forgotten I had parked there. My Ulta Puraches were on my front seat. A sales Associate named Brandon called the towing company and impersonated being the property manager for White Marlin Mall and told them they believed my Vehicle was broken down. They came a towed my vehicle. I re-entered the store to inquire if anyone has seen a tow truck I was assured by Brandon himself that no one there had made that call. The General Manager was not on site. He lied right to my face.

Upon calling the number provided to me on my towing receipt to follow up with the "Property Manager" that requested the tow, I was taken to Brandon Borradailes voicemail. Thats when I knew I had been lied to and wrongfully towed. I followed up the next day and spoke with the GM, Kaitlyn and recorded our full conversation if you would like me to submit it. She assured me it is not any assocated job to enforce parking, she does not care who parks there. This employee was power-tripping. This was also a potentially dangerous situation. I was alone in the rain with a dying cell phone and the tow truck driver was a sketchy character. He quoted me $675 to get my car out of impound but then lowered it to $285. He offered to pick me up from White Marlin Mall. I declined and told him Id be ubering to meet him. I arrived at a dark vacant lot. We had previously discussed it being cash only but when i arrived he was offerering me the option of what alluded to an exchange of sexual favors. What he didn't know is that I was bringing my husband and I had a Worcester Co. Sheriff on standby. So I got my car out of impound. I have filed an entirely seperte complaint on the towing company.

The days following Your Ulta Staff member tried calling me 3 times and texted me a series of cruel and harrassing messages. I can also forward those to you at your request. I live in a small town. This associates mother is a branch manager at my local bank. Since this altercation I have been uncomfortable with her having access to my accounts. I've mentioned this incident to a lot of my peers. They are avoiding shopping at ulta until he is gone. A close friend sent me an article on him . He's been in some trouble in the past and seems like he may be dangerous. I can't think of any reason why this staff member would want to target me? We've not met previous to this incident. I live locally and I own a business in that county. I worry if it's not resolved he could try to retaliate against me in some sort of way or threaten my business. As far as i know i didn't do anything wrong except staying parked there for longer than Brandon was ok with. The General Manger agreed with me that it is out of line for an associate to call a tow truck on their customers. This affects how I feel about spending money there in the future. I hope you can agree that your employee contacting my phone to berate me after I've spoken to a manager is also extremely unprofessional. He said ugly things to me and I don't like to consider that a reflection of this company. I appreciate you help in the matter.

Desired outcome: Termination or transfer of the employee or a reimbursement for $285 for my towing expenses.

There was a worker (female) while working at the store wearing earrings that say “GENDER IS A CONSTRUCT”. Do you think as a customer I want to see that when I go up and ask her about something traveling something in the store? Why is she allowed to wear those? Do you think I want her trying to send me a message while I’m trying to shop? It’s totally...

Ulta Beauty Rude Service

I live out of town (Globe), so I don't shop at Ulta often, but I do like to get new product for my hair. Today after I went to my Salon my hairdresser suggests new product for me to use.

I collected my supplies went to the counter to purchase my things. Octavia was pleasant when I went to the counter to pay. My purchases added up to be over $200. I tried to use my Ulta credit card but had expired. She told me I would have to call the main office to reinstate my card. I told Octavia I couldn't purchase all of the product her demeaner change. She took the products out of the bag, threw the bag to the floor, like she was upset I had to put back three items. I felt she very was very unprofessional, made me feel uneasy.

As I paid with my debit card, I told her she can use the bag on the floor she threw behind her. I believe she knew at that point that was uncalled for.

Desired outcome: I have worked in the public for many years, I know you do not treat your customers like that. She needs someone to guide her on customer's service!

Ulta Beauty Terrible online service

Long shipping times, customer service no help. Almost 10 days and still haven’t received order. Not entirely their fault however telling me I have to wait another 7 days and call back is infuriating. Their competitor gets my orders to me normally in 2 days at worst I’ve waited no longer than 3 days. This isn’t the first time which is why I’m here. I’d love to use them more because they have a good variety of products and they are close if I want to go into the store but I’m done. Ease of doing business is very important.

Ulta Beauty Point expire

I have emailed and spoken with the Ulta customer service department several times. I spent a round $5000 on my ulta master card and never saw the points. Diamond and platinum members points never expire ( at least that’s what the app says). With that amount spent I thought I was one. I did not used for a will or check my point because I had wrist surgery, Covid, a death in the family. I didn’t prioritize my point at this time. Plus I had to pay down all my bill as I had just lost my job. I sent customer service a credit card statement show how much I spent. They keep giving me the run around. Ulta is a million dollar corporate company giving people there points back should not be hard. They destroy thousands of dollars worth of product at every store. We have all seen the YouTube or TikTok of them doing it, but yet they can’t give people point to spend buying products. I just want the point I earned back.

Desired outcome: Gift card for the $5000 in points that I earns and that were taken away from me.

Ulta Beauty Never received my order.

I have spoken to 5 different customer service reps. First of all there has been a languae barrier with each person. The first and third agent I spoke to, both stated they would escalte my problem. The first time I was told after 8 hrs someone would reach out... No one did. I called back, the call dropped mid way after explaining my issue again. Called again and that lady was by far the worst out of all them. I don't know how many ways I had to explain to her that I never received my package. She wasn't getting it, I spent my entire lunch break dealing with her. Her last question was "so you received your package with no items?" what?! She also told me it would be escalted. Still haven't heard back from anyone and th is is the third day after talking to her. So I called again and was told that 2 hours ago she saw my complaint? I told her I just want to talk a supervisor because every agent tells me the same thing.

Desired outcome: I just want my stuff or to be refunded. This is horrible and honestly I never want to shop here again.

Ulta Beauty Flawless by Finishing Touch Lumina Personal Hair Remover

Ordered product since Ulta website stated local availability, but it was not in-stock though they had a similar item for twice the price if really needing it immediately. Then since the employee said they do not bother with counting inventory to know what they have or not, it doesn't do any good for customers to order online and trust that the local store actually has it to pickup as the website states. The corporate rep said to just keep checking back to see if it might be in-stock again, someday. If having it shipped to home, might as well order from Amazon for less.

Desired outcome: Website accuracy for customers to have confidence in ordering

Ulta Beauty Hair stylists at store 360

Ulta Store 360 located at 17758 Garland Groh Boulevard Hagerstown, Maryland [protected].

Phone Number For Store 360 Is

[protected].

I have been a customer of Ulta for many years. Thursday, June 9, 2022, I called Ulta Store 360 and spoke with various persons working there, until finally being connected to the 'Blonde Specialist', at Store 360. I described in detail what services I would like to have done to my hair. I am 52 years old and I have had bleached blonde hair since I was 19 years old. My hair is very long. The 'Blonde Specialist', on the phone was very rude to me and does not sound well educated enough to be considered a 'Blonde Specialist'. I have never had anyone at any salon ever speak to me this way. I went ahead and made an appointment for Sunday, June 12, 2022, with Miranda, another stylist, that in previous weeks, I had talked to her in person, and decided, regardless of how rude the 'Blonde Specialist' was to me, I would give the other stylist, Miranda, a chance. When I arrived to my appointment on Sunday, June 12, 2022, and Miranda and the 'Blonde Specialist', were both there, Miranda continuously kept saying that my hair would 'Snap Off'. The 'Blonde Specialist', could see and hear everything that Miranda was saying. The 'Blonde Specialist', on this day, this person had extremely short purple hair, and this person was standing in a diagonal position from where I was seated and this person had a very bright and bold smile on their face, as Miranda kept continuously saying my hair would 'Snap Off'. I suggested, let us do this the 'Olaplex Way', as added protection. Miranda agreed, but Miranda said my hair would 'Snap Off', so many times, I apologized and said that I would have to decline the service, with or without Olaplex. I feel that the 'Blonde Specialist', possibly coaxed/coached Miranda into speaking to me this way. I do not know if Miranda really wanted to provide the services that I requested. I have the strong feeling, that possibly, the 'Blonde Specialist', also did not want to provide the services that I requested. Everyone knows their own hair, better than any hair stylist. Everyone should be reasonable in this knowledge. As previously stated, my hair has been the same, a very long time now. The way I was spoken to on the phone, by the 'Blonde Specialist', was completely unnecessary. The way Miranda was speaking to me on Sunday, was completely unnecessary. Very unusual, I had spoke to Miranda weeks ago, not that long ago, and she had been really nice and informative. Major disposition change this past Sunday. I had previously had my hair bleached, 11 weeks prior. I thought since I go to this Ulta for all of my beauty products, why not give this Ulta a try and get my bleach retouch service done there. I was sadly mistaken and I will not be requesting any services from Ulta anymore. I will continue to go back to my previous hairdresser, that has never said anything to the effect of 'Snap Off', ever. Unbelievable, the behavior on Sunday, from the Ulta 'Blonde Specialist' and Miranda. It is terribly obvious that neither, Miranda, nor the 'Blonde Specialist', neither of these people have enough experience about hair. I feel that both of these people are pushing customers away, because they have lack of knowledge/education about bleached blonde hair. These 2 people are making this Ulta Store 360, lose money for Ulta. Perhaps Ulta should employ well qualified persons for the 'Blonde Specialist', positions. For that matter, it needs to be made certain that all hair professionals at this location are well qualified. If I were the Owner or Ceo of Ulta, I would definitely be doing an evaluation of the stylists at Ulta Store 360, especially, of Miranda and the 'Blonde Specialist'.

After I declined the service, because of the behaviors and language, I still proceeded to purchase Redken Acidity PreShampoo and Redken Acidity leave in treatment. I had already purchased and tried the $57. containers of the Redken Acidity Shampoo and Conditioner, and like them so well, I wanted to complete the set. I am very pleased with these products.

One person at Ulta Store 360, Riley, a cashier at this location, is extremely nice and very informative and very helpful. Riley is the most sincere person at this location. I very much always appreciate Riley's true kindness. Riley is a valuable Ulta team member at this location.

I wish this past Sunday had went well. This experience was terrible and not what I expected at all.

I hope that you will please investigate Miranda and the 'Blonde Specialist'. This investigation needs to happen soon. I have noticed that this location does not seem to ever be that busy in the salon department.

I hope Ulta will investigate these 2 persons, immediately.

Thankyou.

On or about January 10th of 2021 I went to ultra beauty to have tape in extensions put in and have my hair color match the extensions or vice versa anyways to make long story short it was a terrible experience the colors did not match the tapens were falling out before I ever even got home I was totally embarrassed about the way it looked contacted the person that put them in they tried to fix it on two different other accounts in the store they also came to my house on two occasions to try to fix it differently and also offer to give me back to $150 I had already put out over a thousand to this day I still do not have my extensions I have not received any refunds other than $150 that the salon person gave me that did my hair I would like to send some pictures to show you just exactly what I ended up with I thank you so much

Ulta Beauty Placed order on line, now out of stock, rewards gone

I placed an order on Saturday, 5/21/2022 at 1:17 a.m. for the Madison Reed Shampoo & conditioner and the Insert Name Here (Wave). Everything went through and I used my $14 rewards. I receive and email that the "Wave" is now out of stock and my $14 rewards was now used on a $26 dollar amount...THAT IS REDICUOULS! I would not save my rewards to go towards a $26 dollar amount! That makes no sense. I reached out to customer service and they will not do ANYTHING to make it better or RIGHT and that really sucks and it is not right. Hire management is not "hire management" they tell you the same thing as "customer service".

Desired outcome: I would like my $14 rewards back and pay the $26 on the items that were in stock.

Ulta Beauty commercial with Ariana Grande

Why would you have a commercial with Ariana Grande ? This is a person who went into a bakery on video licking bakery goods and putting them back and laughing. Every time the owner of this busy turned her back. As a so called celebrity she and her friend should have known better . Yes it gets worse, when confronted she is disrespectful, argumentative, but the worse thing she yelled out I HATE AMERICA ! So why would you help this person ? Dont tell me MONEY! I DID go to your store but will not until her and her products are out removed and her commercial is removed. Until done this will be on Facebook and all sites. If she is not taught that her actions do have consequences, then they're behavior becomes the norm . What will she do next now that she hates Americans?

Desired outcome: Remove A.G. products and commercial .

Ulta Beauty Online services

Been a loyal customer with Ulta for years. Have a 1200 dollar credit limit on my card for them. In January 2022 someone hacked my acct and placed an order. Once i was notified I contacted Ulta immediately. They had time to cancel the order but didnt. The idiots ended up shipping the order to the scammer. They wont let me use my online acct and keep giving me the runaround about it. If you google “ulta acct hack” you’ll find that this is a regular occurrence people getting hacked in there system but yet they keep blocking my online ordering because of something that wasnt my fault. About to end my relationship with them and use Sephora and Dermstore. All the money Ive spent at Ulta and this is how they treat me

Desired outcome: I want my online access restored now or they can lose me completely as a customer

Ulta Beauty Hostile Work environment

I visit the Ulta Salon on 13707 W.Bell Rd,Surprise,Arizona back in March and witnessed a older "Manager" of some kind talk to a Hairdresser like he was Garbage.Talked down to him in a very rude matter. And turned around and did the same thing to my Hairdresser, which she was very kind and knowledgeable, knew what she was doing and knew what I wanted. Both of them turned around and were very ashamed. I honestly felt really uneasy after that.

The Salon turned really quiet after that ,No smiles! Both of the them looked very scared and uncomfortable around him.I believe the Managers Name started with and "H".

Desired outcome: Something ,like some type of consequences need to be addressed.I don't think workers should be afraid of Managers or other workers,

I watched a young lady make a complaint to a cop in a parking lot because the manager at her store didn't care about another employee texting her threats & refused to read them. I guy called the police after seeing her crying and the Ulta store banned him & said he'd be locked up for trespassing if he ever came to that store. Now that's some BS. I'm glad I got her number before leaving as I will be a witness after filming it all from my car. She's suing

Ulta Beauty Salon

On Tuesday April 26 i had an appointment to get a spiral perm. I arrived and "had the perm" done. No curl no nothing. My hair is still straight and i knew the moment i saw the stylist putting the curls in my hair. It was suppose to be a spiral perm, not a wave perm. My hair is not even wavy. I would like something done about this especially if i had to pay $80 for it.

Desired outcome: Either a correct spiral perm or my money back.
