On July 19, 2021 I booked a flight with Travelgenio. I received the booking confirmation and after then the e-ticket.
I received only one email for booking confirmation, but I received two e-mails for the e-ticket. Because I'm travelling with my wife I thought that's the reason for two e-mails.
A week later I was making a transaction with my credit card and was denied. I contacted my credit card company and I noticed that Travelgenio had charged me twice therefore I had reached my credit limit.
I was not able to contact the Travelgenio no phone # on any of the e-mails.
I contacted the airline British Airway and they agreed that this is a "mistake" by Travelgenio. They have to cancel the second booking because is obvious and the same people can't flight twice with same airline same time. Therefore the told me it will be full refund. I found on internet the phone # for Canada and I called them. I have called them three times and the only answer is the supervisor is working on it. Is in process.
I called today again the same answer. I asked to talk to the supervisor, but they couldn't transfer me to him: company policy. I asked them where they're located the told me the front office in Spain, but we are in Uruguai.
Why this phone#[protected] on Travelgenio is listed in Canada then? Is this a scam company?

I book with you from abudhabi to jordan 2 days ago from wego app . And until now i did not receive any e-ticket.

My flight EK 0338 has been cancelled with travelgenio reference number SG7NFF and Emirates reference number GVYCVJ. Already sent refund email but no response. Already contacted Emirates Airline and update them that your not responding and not able to contact your company. Im requesting for full refund, please update me on my email [protected]@yahoo.com

I booked a flight from Vienna to Hamburg and as I was paying online it kept asking for a mobile tan. So I typed the mobile tan and money was taken from my bank account but I did not receive a confirmation email and it says that there was no booking under my email though they took money from my bank account.

I booked a two way flight for two persons in February 2020, the return flight which was dated in 20 of may 2020 was cancelled duo to Covid-19.
I send an E-mail to Travelgenio to refund the return flight amount in September 2020, they replied to my mail saying that the request for reimbursement of my tickets has been made and when the airline will give its consent they will refund the amount and The process will take from 60 to 90 days.
After 90 days I did not receive any amount so I send them a reminder and they said its still under process, after another 90 days I send another reminder and they replied that they are still working on it.
Now its been more than 10 months since I made the refund request back in September and still nothing happened and I am starting to think that they are only delaying and will not reimburse my amount.

I used Kayak to search for a flight. The best price result on Kayak led me to Travelgenio. I bought 2 flight tickets via Travelgenio for USD373.95 on 13 June 2020. However, as a result of changing Covid rules, my trip was canceled (as we were no longer allowed to enter Italy - the destination - as tourists) and on 9 February 2021, the airline issued a full refund to Travelgenio for my tickets.

Travelgenio never informed me about the refund and on 14 July 2021, I found out from the airline that a refund had been issued (I went to the airline to try to use those tickets for another flight when they told me that months ago they had already completed a full refund to Travelgenio). It's been now 10 days of back and forth emailing with Travelgenio about this refund. It seems Travelgenio is reluctant to refund me any of this money. First, they never even informed me that a refund had come in for my tickets in February. When I emailed Travelgenio about the refund in July, they said the airline never issued any type of refund. When I sent proof of the refund, Travelgenio then changed the story and said that the tickets were non-refundable and that they only received a refund for the taxes of the tickets. Travelgenio would also charge me admin fees of 100 EUR to transfer my partial refund, which would leave me with only about 20 EUR out of the USD373.95 that I paid. I've gone back to the airline to confirm that they issued a full refund (which they did in fact do). I've gone back to Travelgenio again, and now they're saying they don't have access to any of my tickets anymore.

I am just being sent in circles by Travelgenio and I have never had this type of experience with any intermediary travel company. It's already bad enough that during Covid we're all losing money on canceled trips, but it's awful when you do manage to get a refund and an intermediary company that provides you with no service takes it all away from you.

I am not sure who to turn to. I have the proof of the refund from the airline. I just want my full refund for the USD373.95 back. I think it's fair since the cancelation was out of my control and the airline took the decision to issue a refund as a result. I don't think it's fair to charge any admin fees in this case since I never made a request for any changes.

I am writing to you in regard to a booking that I have made through travel2be.co.uk on the afternoon of 21st of July. It wasn't even a booking, I tried to book my flight Cairo - Istanbul - Cairo. Their website told me that the payment was declined and took me back to the main page. No emails were sent, nothing was communicated nor confirmed, so I went to another website and booked my ticket. At around 3 am the following day, I found an email confirming my initial booking!

After having talked to my bank, they told me to get in touch with the agency and ask them to stop this payment. The agency doesn't have any proper existence in terms of custom service.
Therefore, I urge you quite desperately to help me with this issue. It was an unethical way of processing the tickets through. Had the website right then and there confirmed my ticket or told me that it was processing the tickets, I would have never resorted to any other alternatives.

As part of a trip to go sailing in the BVIs out of Tortolla, I'd purchased two roundtrip tickets aboard InterCaribbean Air. These were purchased through Travelgenio. This was for travel in April of 2020. They were purchased with travel insurance for a total of $674.47.

And then Covid-19 happened and our trip was cancelled. I had also taken the step of cancelling the flight reservations with Travelgenio on March 19, 2020. (Tortolla, our flight destination, was closed to foreign travel).

On July 21, 2020, I received an email that stated:

Dear Passenger
Thank you for contacting us.
We inform you that your repayment is in process and will be made in the next 7 days using the same payment method used to make the purchase. Once this time period has passed, you may verify this reimbursement by checking your bank account. Please contact your bank to confirm that they have processed the repayment.
We remind you that, as indicated in the General Conditions, processing and administrative fees are non-refundable.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information.

I contacted Travelgenio October 2020, November 2020 and February 2021 and received the same response each time.

"Dear customer:

Thank you for staying in contact with us.

We would like to inform you that the refund is still pending on the airline side."

I tried contacting Intercaribbean Airways and they said to work through the travel agency. But I also received this message from the airline:

"Dear Sir
a couple of items here about this.
Now with every travel agency involved booking we note our bookings with the specific communications with the agency in question along with a waiver code given. In reviewing this booking, there is not a single note, which means we never heard from the agency in question.

When a flight is cancelled by us as was the case here, there is no question of refund action or refundabilitiy.

In the case of your booking, the ticket is issued by another airline, which also means we never receive the money until you fly, thus there is no question of us refunding the airline. The agencies may not explain well to whom are they referring when the speak of a refund. Please revert to agency to clarify. we would issue a waiver, no such request is made to us. The agency would revert to the airline who issued the tickets and accepted the payment to refund you."

I don't know what other airline would be involved. I only booked tickets for Intercaribbean Airways with Travelgenio, and no other flights.

It's been more than a year since receiving the first refund email from Travelgenio. Anything you can do to help me get my refund would be greatly appreciated.

I booked 1 ticket with travelgenio, 15 July 2021, authorised payment. 2 Hours later another ticket was booked and deducted from my bank without my authorization. I now have 2 tickets issued to me for the same person, same flight, same time, same date. I gave emailed travelgenio several times and just get told everytime my tickets or the ticket that was booked without my knowledge is non-refundable. I have all the proof. Really very poor customer service from travelgenio.

I paid over £1300 for the above flight, which should of been in December 20. Australia shut its borders and the flight was cancelled. I am still awaiting a refund. I keep logging in to see the progress but it seems to have stalled with the airline. It says thus process normally takes 12 - 14 weeks and I have been waiting 8 months. Why are travelgenio not chasing this up and informing me.

Please help as I booked my ticket 3 days ago and money was deducted from the account and I have to travel urgently to my home country with family as my father is not keeping well. I called customer care 3 times first time they say they can't issue ticket because I have no sir name so they will first contact the airlines when I provide the necessary documents like my passport which clearly says I don't have a name . I checked my booking status yesterday it's showing cancel and then again I called the agent and she said she is trying I have to wait. This is not true. I cannot change the flight on 'my trips' with Travelingo Nor can I do it with the airlines...Catch 22

This is the most horrible experience that I have encountered to this agent, I booked my ticket last June 9, 2021 then after 24hrs I received my e ticket. The airline has been update the timing from and to of my flight the worst is my connecting flight become deleted and as per the airline I need to call the agent then turn into cancellation. I send them email for refund in July 10, 2021 for refund and they reply after 3 days and they told that they process the refund and it will takes 12 to 14 weeks and no need to send an email just to check on their website the status. Yesterday I was surprise that I received an sms that i was debited of 2200 dirhams online purchased from this agent though I didnt made that. I called my bank immediately to report this scenario. When I check my email same time I received an sms when they send an email to me informing me that they processed already the refund and it with the bank! To think that nothing credited instead its a debited amount to my account. This company is alarming doing this scam process specially if were not in their country to face them personally we should to aware the authority of this illegal transaction by them. Lets aware the world about their wrong doings...

I do not even know where to begin with the horrible experience I have had with this travel booking website and am still having (it's been 6 months!). I had booked an international flight using this website and because of travel bans related to COVID that came in after I made my booking, I had to cancel my flight 10 days before the day I was supposed to fly. My booking was cancelled by an agent and that was on February 12, 2021. Since then, I have been making constant calls, back and forth, between Travelgenio and the airline, for my refund. Travelgenio kept telling me that they have done everything they could and now it's on the airline to refund the money back to them so they could give it to me. On calling the airlines, they kept telling me that they have received a request to refund and they are processing it. It's a busy airline and they too want the customer to just quickly hang up so they weren't giving me any other details. Yesterday, I asked for this matter to be escalated, thinking it was the airline who was at fault, and found out that Travelgenio had never raised my refund application number to my ticket. If they had, the refund would have been with me in 4-5 days. Its been 6 months now since my cancellation and I am still waiting for them to do the needful so I can get my money back. But they won't. They won't even take calls and often disconnect calls. This was the biggest scam ever and I would advice no one to fall for their cheap rates and make the same mistake I did.

Hi team. This is very disgusting. I have booked the ticket with wrong name and asked to change the name and have paid 50euros … later the agent said we will issue a new ticket.. Later when I checked my status tickets was showing cancled and contacted coustmer services they said it is in process. Approximate time 1hr.. I have been waiting from past 8hrs no updates and trying to contact no one answering my phone.. Guys I need to book this ticket becuase my wife is pregnant and I have book the ticket for her on the same flight.. So worried.. Please do the needful
