I took my car to Meineken Econo Lube for the Engine Light. The mechanic diagnosed and scanned the engine. They show me the 2 codes, and then cost me $1009. Well, I asked to go ahead because I was already at that shop any way and the dealer may likely charge the same price. I picked up my car in the evening, drove to work the second day, on my way back on the freeway the Engine Light on again. I called the shop, they started to make excuses, thought that my car was the same as the previous customers, I need to buy another battery, the cost of the battery, undo my battery without my authorization the shop also charged me $328 extra to buy another part for the same Engine Light, the total end up $1400. The shop manager was ok but the rest of the staff working with him are very impolite, very unprofessional, talk to me like a dog, Incompetent technicians, talking to each other etc... I don't understand how that shop stay on business. I may report them to Business Bureau because of the worse service the shop provided.
