Re: 2010 Rav 4 Rear Stabilizer Bar Links & Shock Absorbers/Suspension Strut Replacement Repair

Hello,

Good day to whom it may concern. I have been a Toyota customer for over 20 years. My mileage and usage of vehicle is light.

Please see attached invoice, which I unfortunately paid to mechanic for my 2010 Rav 4 with 97339 miles on both November 19, 2019, and, December 30, 2019.

I am aware the 2010 Rav 4 has multiple recalls for suspension bar links; however, I have been told by Liberty Toyota Burlington NJ my VIN is not part of these recalls.

Please consider compensating me, in some manner, for referenced repair. I have been a repeat Toyota customer.

Now, I am reconsidering being a repeat Toyota customer, since the Toyota product has cost me both for replacement upper & lower radiator hoses, both rear stabilizer bars, and, both rear suspension strut & shock absorbers.

Thank you.

Regards,

Julie Curtis

Toyota - I have officially been degraded.

I had two problems with my vehicle (sway arm and transmission) - The vehicle is under warranty and they have had my vehicle for over 11 days. I can't get a human on the phone. This was my email to them:

I have SERIOUS complaints about your customer service. I just called your service department (count them) 16 times in a row to get a status on the vehicle that you've had for over a 11 days. I have NO VEHICLE. I cannot get a human and have continually been dumped into someone's voicemail and/or been disconnected. I am now going to have my attorney officially cancel the warranty on my vehicle. You people have the worst customer service I have ever done business with.

Avoid Toyota all together, they don't care about you or what you're going through or care if you lose your job because you have no vehicle. They have lots and lots of $$$$ and will step on you like a bug because they just don't care or take any responsibility.

They sold me a brand-new damaged vehicle as new (sever water damage and electrical issues that they attempted to fix) and still got away with selling it at full price and wouldn't refund a penny after I found out about the vehicle's issues. They actually acted as if they were doing me a great big favor in fixing it! They truly are the epitome of trash when it comes to how they treat their customers.

PLEASE AVOID LIBERTY TOYOTA ALTOGETHER!
I would want to give it a 0 rating but Yelp doesn't allow 0 so 1 star.
I saw a certified pre owned 2018 CHR XLE which they marked it for 18, 300$ online. Spoke to the online rep and confirmed its XLE (Brand new XLE is 25, 000$ which would mean this was a good deal). Drove down to the place and the dealer tells me that this car is XLE from 2018 whcih means its an LE from 2019 version. I told him its a rip off for me since i am offered a deal from another toyota for a brand new 2019 CHR LE at 20, 000$. The dealer (Mr Hiram) yells at me and says its impossible for someone to sell the car for 20k which would mean they will be selling it for the price less than they have purchased for. I show him the proof (Luckily I had a pic of the quote from this other toyota place) and the dealer mellows down and says that he can offer a better deal! (The person who yells at me telling me the deal i just now told was a lie and was not possible is now ready to sell me a same new car for a little reduced price than the other place.) I am already pissed and wanted to leave but as usual the Manager comes out. I have never seen someone as rude as this filthy little manager of this place. He tells me that he can give a rebate of 5000$ if i agree to purchase the car that night (buy this time I have already told both the rep and the manager that i am just looking and not interested in buying it tonight) . I thought that was a joke and i laughed and said "Then may be i'll buy it". To which the manager who is such a mean old fellow says "The way we do business here is that if you are willing to buy at this time only then we will give you offers". (In a very serious threatening tone!)he also said that if I "may" buy the car then he "may" offer me the rebate. at this point i was done with this bull crap of a place so i said "Then may be I am not interested". After listening to this he just got up and rushed out and let his dealer take care of the rest. IS THIS HOW YOU TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS?IS THIS HOW YOU DO BUSINESS? To threaten and ask your customers to finalise a deal that night or else no Rebate.I WOULD RATHER PAY MORE AND GET A CAR FROM A PLACE WHO TREAT ME RIGHT THAN ACCEPT 5K REBATE AND BUY FROM THIS PLACE WHO TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH.
I am happy to say that I have made a deal with another toyota showroom (Princeton Toyota) who treat their customers right. They did offer me good rebates, good conversations and most of all Respect which is lacking in this god awful place they call Liberty Toyota . The manager and the dealer should learn a good lesson on how to communicate with people be it customers or no. BEWARE PEOPLE, IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT THEN AVOID LIBERTY TOYOTA, GO TO ANY OTHER PLACE BUT THIS.
