This company offered discounts on Hotels and many other services for paying a one time fee of $1. I never received anything from them for paying this amount, then later I find out that they have been charging my credit card $16.99 a month for over a year!

I was just wondering if you have actually seen any refunds to your mother's credit card yet from TLG Great Fun? I'm in the same boat, 2 months behind you so am curious how long these refunds take. The night I first noticed my unauthorized charges of $14.99 per month since Sept. '09 I spent reading scores of complaints on this web site. How infuriating? These creeps have a hellofa nerve stealing money and then refusing to return it once they are caught. At some point that night an ad came up in the right margin from the law firm of Shepherd, Finkelman, Miller & Shah. I was pretty wound up at that point and decided I needed to tell my story to someone I hoped could actually do something about it. I emailed my experience to them never thinking anything would come of it. Well, a few days later I got an email from one of the lawyers asking me if I'd be interested in speaking to him. After researching the law firm, which I found to be legit, I agreed to the phone call. That call happened today. I'm glad I wrote!

What I'll say is if you still have not had complete resolution, write/email them...you have nothing to loose and perhaps everything to gain. Hope this helps.

i totally disagree.

first of all, people are being transferred to great fun from other companies. the customers are either in a hurry, will not listen or just agree to get off the phone. so it's totally up to someone to listen to what they are saying before giving out their card information. they charge your card because you give it to them to charge. you have 30days to cancel...they clearly tell you on the phone "unless you call to cancel your benefits will automatically continue at the current monthly fee"...

go figure...it was your lost.

I have the same problem. I purchased airplane ticket through Price line and one month later my credit card was charged 11.99 for 3 months . I call them and they sad they will stop but next day they got another 11.99 from my account. You should change your card and contact Better Business Bureau with complaint.

I was charges $129.99 by this company and I have no idea how. I rarely buy anything online nor using my credit card that much. I've always check my credit card statement and bank accounts frequently. I've quickly noticed that there was an unauthorized charged card my Discover card to file a dispute; I've also called the number on my credit card statement and they stated that they have canceled my membership. They even gave me the cancellation code to write down. Right now I'm waiting if they would credit my card for the amount that they took. If they don't I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

i have at leat 6 charges from tlg great fun tht i never authorized and i reuse to pay tese chumped up charges. someone needs to find outwhat went wrong and why. you can reqch me at rainlver@yahoo.com. i have a green dot master card and i have never had this happe before.

You authorized it yourself while internet shopping AND NOT READING the disclosures that were posted on the survey you completed or the $$ off your current order you took advantage of .

these companies KNOW that most people make a CHOICE NOT TO READ the info provided and take full advantage of it.

Even the today show did a piece on it, while investigating the complaints they were receiving. Every website they were told did this had full disclosure that no one bothered to read.

This is TLG Great Fun... We just found out today that we were taken by this company for $36.00 out of our bank account. Here is a link to their information with the BBB of CT.

They need to be shut down! They have been scamming people under all kinds of names for years by sneaking in under "legitimate" websites and swiping your credit card info. to sign you up for crap that you don't know you are ordering and you never receive. We talked with "Nancy" an "Executive Supervisor" this evening and after our conversation are being reimbursed $108 in total for all of the charges they have helped themselves to from our bank account. They say that Tom clicked on box while on the Columbia House website. He did not do that, he certianly didn't give them his banking information or permission to take money from the account! They also say that they have been sending us travel cupons and a magazine for the past year, nothing has been received from them... ever. "Nancy" told us that we may have "mistaken it for junk mail" to which we responded that maybe they disguise it as junk mail so they won't be so easily discovered! As for a magazine, none has ever been delivered to us and as for "TLG Great Fun" we had never heard of them until they were noticed stealing money from our bank account today. We need to get together and find a good lawyer to take up a CLASS ACTION SUITE against these jerks and every internet site that gives/sells them our banking/credit card information!

This guys have being charging me $11.99 per month for the last 18 months. I had no clue they were doing that because I never pay close attention to my statements. I have never ordered these services. This is ridiculous and they need to pay me back

TLG is a complete scam. They charge you for different things that you never sign up for and then claim that you do. I had to call 3 different times over 3 different matters to get my money back for things that i never signed up for and never authorized them to take money out for. Then they always say I'm sorry this will never happen again, and it always will. All they do is take your money.

Today I recieved a card in the mail from Great Fun. I have no idea who they are or how they got my credit card number. They sent the card to inform me of an increase in my membership to $12.99 each month if I don't call them. When I called, of course, you can never speak to a live person and I was informed that they couldn't take my call. Sure seems like a scam to me.

This vendor or whatever it is charged my checking account anauthorized for a period of one year. The monthly amount was small enough so that I wouldn't notice but after one year, its over $1, 000 . I would like my money back. Any ideas how?

I had the similar problem with this TLG great fund where I received unauthorized charges on my debit card. I think I was automatically signed up when I purchased airline tickets from Priceline. I resolved this problem by reporting this site as fraud to my bank changed my debit card.

Tlg great fun comes with priceline. They are experts on doing fradulent charges, its just a pop-up. I recently had $11.99 charged to my visa, I called my bank right away and told them it was a fradulent charge. They took right off. All you have to do it report the company and tell them is fradulent. They do this to anyone that buys anything off of priceline.

same happened here. i realized that i agreed to these charges after i gave them my credit card number. however i phoned my visa company and they said i had 30 days to cancell. you cant to it online. i sent great fun a registered letter and when they charge my acount visa said they would get the charges reversed.
