Tim Hortons staff

Hello Tim Hortons,

On May 19 at 3pm mountain time I went through the Tim Horton's drive through loacted at 111 ave and 156 st Edmonton AB. and ordered 4 medium frozen lemonades. The lady took my order then informed me that didn't have frozen lemonade just ice cappuccino. I said I guess I'll take the cappuccinos but could i get them at the lemonade price, all things considered. I couldn' t understand what the reply was throught the speaker so when I got to the window there were four employees at the window laughing. I was informed the price was $12.00 and change. I ascertained I was paying the cappuccino price and when I mentioned I was paying the cappuccino price one employee said the lemonade price was considerably cheaper. As we were driving away we could hear all four employees started giggling and laughing like it was a big joke and I was the [censored]. Lucky for them I was with my son and didn't want to make a scene, however I was so temped to go into the store or go through the drive through again and challenge these [censored] on their disrespectful conduct. I need somebody to make it up to me, I'm repulsed by the incident.
FYI, I have been enjoying your products and taking my crews to Tim's for years and normally everything and everyone has been great.

Tim Hortons service / wrong number

I went to 380 Main St N, Markham, ON L3P 1Z4 this morning at 7am to buy a farmers biscuit with SASUAGE AND BACON. This lady gives me a farmers wrap and I let her know I wanted the farmers breakfast on a biscuit and she was arguing with me for 5 minutes bringing all her coworkers saying oh didn't she say farmers wrap and I let her know okay but I want a biscuit so can you change it and even then for 5 mins she was arguing with me as to what I said. After 5 mins she starts talking [censored] about me right infront of my face to her coworkers then brings out my order. Then I drive off to find out my farmers breakfast on a biscuit has no hash brown so I had to drive back and explained to her a farmers breakfast has a hash brown and for another 5 minutes she was arguing and yelling at me saying I'm wrong that's now how they do it and would not put the hash brown In there for me. And she was yelling about me to coworkers while I was right there saying oh she doesn't know what she's saying. I have never ever dealt with employees like this especially if I am coming at 7am I would like the right order as I am paying for it. The rudest employees and they don't even say sorry and correct it all they did was yell to her coworkers and they were all standing in a circle talking [censored] infront of my face.

Tim Hortons sultana sharmin the general manager

I am writing to whomever is in charge of this..this is about discrimination at my job..This new general Manager has been treating me disrespectful and very mean..she does very spiteful things to me such as not wanting to give me my paycheck when I asked for it on my break..I am also 2 months pregnant and I asked her to please give me my check so I can cash it and buy something to eat because I was hungry..she told me to click out and then she will give it to me..I did as she asked and she still had me waiting for 15 min on my break when I only have a half hour to hand me my check..that's half of my break that I wasted waiting for her while I'm hungry and want what's owed to me...meanwhile she had no problem giving the other employees their checks when they asked for it while they are still on the clock..she also told me that she isnt going to put me on the schedule for next week..for what reason would she do this? Because she don't want me there..this Tim Horton is hiring all their kind of people and discriminating towards the American and especially the Caucasian people that work there..they are trying to remove them including myself and I need my job right now because I live on my own and I'm having a baby. This general manager also complains when customers like when myself or other employees make their beverages. She didnt want us to make a customer's coffee because she wanted to make it and didn't care how the customer felt about that..she said that she dosent care if she loses customers..I really don't think that the company would appreciate her saying that she dosent care if the company loses customers. Sultana Sharmin is not a good manager and dosent know how to run a business..I'm trying to save my job..This store is owned by Karim Jiovanni and is located at 1562 Hylan Blvd Staten Island New York 10305..I need this job and I would like for the corporate office to look into this matter..customers even dislike this manager...that is not good for business..please get back to me at [protected] or [protected] to discuss this Because either I have to transfer or get my hours at this store..I use to get 40 hours and now since she became manager of this store she dropped my hours down to 18 to 25 a week..I can't live on that..and I believe that she is trying to make me quit..I'm not a quitter I just want this matter resolved..thank U and please get back to me asap.

Tim Hortons iced coffee

I went to tim hortons esso today at Don mills and Sheppard. I was asking for a drink, an iced coffee but instead of the regular coffee, Just put double espresso with the cream and base on it. And the cashier didn't understand or know what to punch in.. So i told her charge me for iced coffee and add the double espresso but if they make it just don't put the regulr coffee in it. And a manager walked beside her, or a supervisor. I don't know, She's a filipino. She told the cashier just punch in double espresso that's it. And she talked to me like she was pissed. She told me they don't so that there and if i want ice just grab on the ice machine. I get it that it's not a tim hortons drink, that' why i explain further how i want my drink. It's early in the morning and people just want to get their drinks. And for me, she actually sounded rude the fact that she's a filipino. I worked at tim hortons as well, and i make sure that my customers os satisfied and happy witht their order and this is not the first time i ordered that drink. I've been drinking that for a long time. If she can't handle her job properly might as well quit! The way she act pisses me off and ruined my whole day. I just hope you guys take actions for this. Cause frankly if you don't know how to deal your customers right then this job doesn't fit you.

Tim Hortons tim hortons

I was at kennedy and Lawrence tim hortons yesterday (May 16, 2018) I bought a coffee and a muffin and paid with a tim card, the girl in the drive threw said it went through so I drove off and when I came back today morning, she said I did not pay yesterday and charged me for today and yesterday which is unreasonal because she should've told me that yesterday before I drove off. And the way she talked to me today was very insulting and rude. I will not visit this tims again. They need to know how to treat their customers better.

Tim Hortons wrongful dismissal

I've worked for this company for 5 years up until March 27.
On March 28 my doctor had put me off work for a few weeks due to medical reasons and due to unexpected personal reasons it was becoming very hard to stay focused and on track.
I gave my doctors note to my manager, who was not happy about the timing of the leave.
About 2 weeks later I get a message from my manager needing to speak to me so naturally I agree to meet the following day.
I'm taking out back were I'm handed a letter stating that my services are no longer required at this place of employment. Singed by the general manager Carl Dow and dated March 27.
I again reminded them they were firing me on a doctors note that was given to them March 28 and they called me in 2 weeks later to give me this letter dated March 27.
I guess working all then hours I was never paid for because I was in on overtime and they refused to pay me overtime didn't matter nor doing the walkthrus and all temps plus anything else on the tablet, the 3 trucks a week I unloaded or the fact that the assistant manager Matt called me a [censored] out front.
No Matt was never fired or written up over it.
I cleaned all the machines, took all the [censored] they put on me and worked the hours without pay.
It's all on camera.
The only reason Carl wanted me out and used all reasons he could was because I said I was going to stop doing it all and work like everyone else.
Hell half of the products in there are expired and they still use them up until they know the inspector is coming.
Then it goes in the barn.
Expired coffee, salad dressing, Java, donut fillings and the list could go on.
No one ever puts a thermometer in anything when checking temps.
Nothing is dated or cleaned properly until again they hear that an inspector is coming.
Carl gets heads up everytime one is coming down.
I do plan on letting the good people of St. Andrews know the truth about that place.
I'm going to take it to the labor board for wrongful dismissal and have them look into my lost hours I've worked but was never paid for plus compasation.
Carl Dow treats workers like they are stupid and disposable.
Worked there for 5 years and I've never had a raise for the last 3.
I'm want something done by headquarters about this.
This shouldn't be aloud, it's unfair and unjustified for anyone.
I will not let this go until I'm heard, even if I have to take this past Tim Hortons themselves and go public with this.

Tim Hortons overall experience

To whom it may concern,

I have been a daily customer at Tim Hortons (2687 Kipling ave. Etobicoke, ON) for over 5 years now, as it is directly across my work place. I bring 4 other customers to this location every day at 12pm and we spend at least $20/day on food and beverages. The customer service has been declining and been more and more upsetting on a regular basis now that I have no choice but to write a complaint.

First of all, the same man that takes my order over the drive through gives us the order at the window, so he can not concentrate on giving us the correct items or listen to what I have to say or need as he is too busy taking the next order over his headphones.

They are also always reluctant to take separate orders from the people in my car so I am not sure what they want us to do in that case, drive around 3x until all our orders are filled? Or do they want to refuse business?

They run out of peppermint tea and raspberry lemonade very frequently and then they are unpleasant and impatient with me when we are trying to figure out what to order instead.

When we try to reload any of our Tim's cards, they give us so much trouble as if they are confused about what we are asking them to do and they do not have the time to do so.

I am not writing to you to get anyone there in trouble or fired from their jobs, rather to help improve our experience there and possibly ensure they replenish their items more frequently. I do hope there is a change soon though or we will have to go elsewhere for our daily lunch runs.

Thank you for your time,

Karla Sajenko

Tim Hortons sugar packets

Yesterday I was shunned for taking to many sugar packets. Once again Tim Horton's has came through and disappointed. First of all a bit of back story. I used to frequent 1500 O'Conner drive Tim Horton's. For approximately 2yrs the managers stole an extra 60cents from me and encouraged the other workers to do so. When I questioned why other Tim Horton's didn't have this additional fee they would as rudely as possible tell me "all Tim Horton's charge different prices" so I believe them. Time passed and became very suspicious of these women and did some "investigating" and it turned out that I was right. Customer service was horrible (that's another story), at the end of the day I think Tim Horton's owes me bags and bags of sugar. I don't understand why any employee would care about how much sugar I take. I can see why people complain about this place.

Tim Hortons lids of coffee/tea cups

Good afternoon,
I ordered a medium green tea at a drive thru today in Barrie. The tea is naturally very hot however the lid was not fitted properly. The tea spilled out of the top of the cup burning the skin between my thumb and index finger. The burn is not acute however this is not the first time the lids that Tim Horton's uses have failed. Even if pushed down and fixed properly these lids still have a tendency to leak. They have leaked in my car, onto my hand, burned my skin and stained my clothes in the past.

May I suggest using a stronger lid that seals around the cup better. The lids that are used at Starbucks and McDonalds are very good.

Sincerely

Tim Hortons unethical behaviour

Hi, I have complaint about one of lady working at Tim Horton 275 Water St. North Cambridge, ON. Today almost at 9.00 PM I go there and ordered 2 dozen donuts in two boxes, 12 each. There was a young guy who take order and after receiving payment from my credit card he started filling those boxes. when he asked what kind of donuts I want, I said put two of each kind in both the boxes. Every thing was good up till here. That guy start putting donuts two of each kind in both boxes. That lady came there at once and take one donuts out and said its premium one and you can, t buy this with this box. I said I want these and ready to pay the difference. She said no its a store policy and you can, t do that. Her behavior was so rude and insulting as I am begging some thing and not paying for that. why she came to that guy as he was dealing with me I don, t know. what was her goal, I don, t know. After that I said I need receipt for my payment. she said you should be nice and give me the wrong receipt which doesn't belong to me and I have that for my record. I request that some one who want to inquire the case should watch the video and then inquire the matter. If Tim Horton have some policy to sell special items to some special people they should not allow other people to go inside. why they insult people who want to buy some stuff. Its disappointing.

Tim Hortons a can of tim horton's dark roast coffee

Hello...I recently purchased a tin of coffee on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 at the Braeside, SW Calgary location which has been my favourite spot for over 9 years...as well as other Calgary locations!
The tin I opened only today... had contained 5 small dark spiders and webbing! I have not opened it since! You hopefully understand it has remained closed!
For the possibility that this might be a bigger recall issue than we thought! I am attaching both 'barcode' and 'batch number"!
When I brewed the first pot today for Mother's Day...I was both shocked and embarrassed, to say the least!
I will be returning the tin to the place of purchase, and leave it at that!

Hoping that this incident helps you track the source!

Thank you in advance,

Sincerely,

Daniel Norman Davenport

Tim Hortons payment and attitude

I went to Tim Hortons in Jamestown, NY on North Main St. around 9:50 am on 5/12/18. I went through the drive through, I ordered a medium French Vanilla ice cap and a regular bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese. I pulled up to the window gave the lady a twenty. I know that my items came to $5. and change. Now this is also my fault because i was on the phone, however, she did not give me back my change nor did she give me a receipt. Me being on the phone did not realize until later in the afternoon. I called the restaurant, and whoever answered the phone was very rude to me. Asking if I had a receipt, Now if i didn't receive my change how was i to have a receipt. She did not ask for my name of number, Just straight out told me she could not help me. I have been in customer service since I was 15 years old, I do know that you at least ask you customers name an phone know, and count the drawer to see if it is off. I was always taught the customer is always right, and to treat them with respect. If i was that persons manager she defiantly would have been talked to.

I know the feeling regarding attitude. I am in Northern Ontario, Canada, and the "attitude" (or lack thereof), of the TH employees here seems to be Take what you get and pay what we tell you to pay. If you don't like it, tough, take it and shut your mouth.
I told an employee today to "Mind her own business." When she didn't, I raised my voice, repeated the statement and had to do it again because of her sticking her nose where it had not been invited, but this time I raised my voice louder and added, "Shut your mouth." I walked away with my order, sat down, and had to endure several employees convincing each other that I was "guilty of verbal assault". They had been told by myself that it was all on camera and they could talk to the manager if they wanted, yet not once did a manager come forward, nor was afforded the right by any of them to even talk to a manager.
Yes, I was loud, but if saying what I did makes me guilty of verbal assault, then they are guilty of harassment and negligence.
The sad truth is that customers are no longer "right" regardless the situation, they are "tolerated".

Tim Hortons unprofessional behavior by barista

Hello,

Yesterday (May 12, 2018) I placed an order at Tim Horton's at Trimble and 10th in Vancouver at around 6:10pm. The order was as follows:

1) 3 timbits
2) Two medium iced coffee with single cream and one with 2 sugars and the other with no sugar.

At first the barista gave me two iced coffees with no cream and one with 2 sugars and the other with 1 sugar. She then gave me a cream pod to put into the one with 2 sugars and then remade the one that needed to be without sugar. Please check the photograph below. It has so much cream and when I held the two iced coffees together and asked does it look like they both have the same amount of cream she said, yes and then rolled her eyes and walked away.

We're all human and can make mistakes, my issue is not with the mistake. My complaint is how she kept being unprofessional and sarcastic when it was her who got the order wrong twice. It seemed like she was giving me something for free and I was being a nuisance.

Tim Hortons cream of leek soup

Around 6pm on Saturday 12th 2018 I went through the drive thru at 525 welland Ave st. catharines to purchase a cream of leak soup combo. I continued on and ate it after. Half way through eating my soup I chomped down on a broken price of rock of some sort. It chipped a tooth and cut my gum. I immediately spit it out and inspected it and found out it was a rock. I called and complained to the store and asked to speak to someone and I got a supervisor who said she would speak to the manager and she was willing to give me a free soup? She took my name and not my number. I'm very angry that this has happened to me and great full I did not feed my children this who always eat what I eat. If the Manger of the store or nobody takes me seriously I will have to contact for legal advice as it was Un believable that the supervisor didon't know what to do. I have kept the rock and the rest of the soup and the bag. I was hoping someone from head office could contact me on this matter. My name is Cyndee Brazier and my number is [protected]

Tim Hortons Service

I've had to experience some the most rude, ignorant behaviour from an employee at the tim hortons location here in bay roberts located on lt. Stick drive just off the conception bay highway - it's actually attached to the shell gas station at 11:30 am
Saturday may 12th, 2018

At the drive thru I ordered my kids a strawberry smoothie and asked for yogurt and she asked if I wanted extra yogurt I sad no just a smoothie with yogurt... She then started to literally lecture me over the intercom about the difference in smoothies and how to order — I actually stopped her and said ok I just want a smoothie with yogurt and i'd like finish my order — she kept on lecturing me!

- when she finished her lecture — I said ok I would like 2 four cheese bagels one with cream cheese the other butter and before I could say anything else she cut me off and rudely said toasted?
I said yes - but I said to myself ok fine —
Then she proceeded to again lecture me that when ordering I have to specify toasted or not and she literally went on a rant about properly ordering and how orders go wrong especially when people don't specify! — so I got abrupt and said — look just stop and can I finish my order and I said it rudely -
If that wasnt enough — she says i'm cancelling your order for swearing at me!
Huh!
For one thing I did not swear at her!
Actually I was doing my best not to cause I knew it wouldn't help plus my children were in the truck with me!
I did not swear at her!

So fine drove up to the window and I asked the girl at the window if she was the girl who I was speaking with — she said no I just came from the back — ok another girl came up handed me the drinks I asked her for the girls name -/ and she says oh I just came from the back — I asked the guy who handed me my bagels and he said the same!

Seriously!
So no one was out in front - obviously trying to cover for that rude girl — so I said i'm not leaving this window without her name then one lady finally said her name was valerie I said ok and left!

But i'm sooooo over this location and I know i've had 2 other occasions of really bad service - once in store when an employee (an older lady with glasses) yelled and insulted my kids who were 11 and 12 at the time in front on me and my kids good kids!

I've heard others speak about this one location and it's surprising to me that one spot — this one spot here in our little town can be so awful!
And it's not getting better!

But i'm done with this location and the from my handful of visits to this location i've had 3 awful experiences which includes today - but like I said i'm done but I do expect tim hortons to do something about this location it's disgusting

Tim Hortons steeped tea

I always order my steeped tea with 1 and a half milk. Alot of the times they give me coffee. Tonight I wanted to try out the new location on 97th ST and 137th Ave in Edmonton. I asked the cashier to put more milk in cause it didn't look right when she brought it back it still didn't look right. I smelled it at that point and noticed it was coffee. I said this is wrong I ordered steeped tea. She brought it back. Still wasn't right. Seemed like not enough milk but at this point I was annoyed. The cashier wasn't very pleasant. So I just took it as it was tea after All.
