When I transferred from Roger to Telus on January 20th I was told the phone number I had been using [protected] would be transferred to the Telus service. That has never happened. As of today I have a second temporary number, I can phone out but my contacts cannot phone me because they don't have the temporary number. Worse yet, I am an elderly person (94 years old) who lives alone who relies on my phone as of means of ensuring my security and, at this moment, I am no confident the device I can press to summon help will work.
Desired outcome: I want to have my phone number restored so contacts can phone me and whatever is wrong with the system fixed so I can rely on it if I need assistance.
