Management needs to learn about etiquette.
I waited for 25 minutes to meet someone to help me understand how to subscribe to a Business Link invoice. When the manager at the branch freed up, I approached him. He told me that he had to go to the vault and would help thereafter.
Upon returning from the vault, he ignored me completely and went directly to someone better dressed in a suit. I was furious. I then went to the other desk person who ignored me, then attended a person who had just walked in. Needless to say, she was also dressed in corporate.
A few days later I had to go to the branch near my office (TD bank on 43rd Street and Third Ave, NY, 10017) to deposit a check, then to clarify, I asked to talk to the branch assistant manager. After an explanation that was inaccurate with the rude tone, I replied that the explanation was not adequate.
He decided to say' I am sorry that you feel that way', which is completely inappropriate. After repeating four times' I am sorry that you feel that way', I blew my stack using foul language and then left.
I have been banking with TD bank for many years never seen a branch so badly managed.
Recommendation: Do not attend this branch. Management is rude. It gives a bad name to TD Bank, which has greatly managed branches, but this one.
