Receiving an incorrect order and no one assisting to when I'm going to get my order.
I made an order of a backdrop and 24 piece cutlery set on the 4th of Sep 2022 and the items were suppose to be delivered on Monday 12 Sep 2022. On the 12 Sep, I received the backdrop(which I ordered) and a key ring(which I did not order). I've have made multiple attempts to contact the customer to come get the key ring and have my cutlery delivered but I keep getting told that I need to wait for investigation and I need the cutlery by Friday 23 September, as I will be travelling and need to go with it this weekend.
This is rather urgent and don't understand why I have to wait if the cutlery was available and ready to be delivered
Desired outcome: May I get what ordered, delivered before friday 23 September.

On the 4th of September I placed the order for Tommy tippee bottles,which costed R100 and a lunch bag that costed 155 on promotion ,my order arrived yesterday the 16th of September, without my bag ,I tracked the order on Monday it said they were waiting for the bag,it was not feesable to pay R65 delivery just for bottles ,that could have been purchased at the store ,I should have been notified that order has been cancelled,I don't know why because I checked the app the bag is available at a different price (R189)which is a rip of by take a lot
Desired outcome: I would like the bag I ordered and waited so long for and not be charged a delivery fee

Be careful buying things on Takealot - I bought a Hisense Air fryer toaster oven a week or so ago and it has issues - I logged a return with a request to replace the oven - now I get the return approved, but they state that that no longer have stock on the item - I took a screen shot from their website showing that they do have the product for sale on your website - just with a higher price and apparently from another supplier - hence the higher price - Please see their response:
Kindly note the item currently listed as available on the website is stock listed with different sellers and suppliers hence why the difference in price and availability. We therefore cannot exchange/replace an item if it is not exactly the same as the one you originally ordered as it does not have the same bar code. We can only exchange clothes, apparel, and shoes for different sizes because they are listed under the same bar code.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused in this regard.
If there is anything additional that I may assist you with, thus enhancing our service level and overall experience, please let me know.
Their whole argument rests on a difference in barcodes - there is only one supplier of Hisense products and that is Hisense - who according to rhem has no stock. Now they want to refund me and then I must spend R700 more to buy the same item. Who has R700 to spare in today's economy?

VSP launch videoscope
On 08/30/2022 I placed an order: O/N [protected] totaling R2846.00 of which I paid R1900 for a VSP Launch Videoscope, among a few other items which were all delivered except this Videoscope, which was a birthday gift for my son from his family in America, but instead a cheap R100 headlamp thing was delivered (see pics). I have send numerous emails about this and no one ever gets back to me. I want what I paid for. I have been bounced from pillar to post with regards to where to go about this. I have attached photos of the package that was delivered. There was no delivery note inside the package either to see the original order vs the delivery order. Please can someone just do the right thing and send deliver what was ordered.
Desired outcome: I want the item I paid for to be sent to my son without further delay, as it is something he desperately needs.

18/8/2022 I ordered a Bluetooth speaker, pampers diapers and infarcare milk I received 2 items from these 3 only the pampers diapers were not delivered, i called on the same day to file a complaint with takealot till today (11 days later) they are still trying to resolve my issue.
Desired outcome: I want the box of diapers I ordered
Takealot JHB DC
We made a booking on the takealot booking system to deliver replenishment stock to their JHB DC between 07:00 and 08:00 this morning.
We arrived there at 07:30 and the guards showed us away and declined our shipping note as Late delivery.
All other vehicles that arrived after us were granted access.
We have a small baby and spent an hour in traffic just to be told they can't help us because we didn't arrive at 07:00.
This is so unfair. Very poor service.
Items i ordered were not all delivered
I ordered two items from Takealot ( Wireless Bluetooth in-earphones for Apple and android (green) fro R 219 and Micracase-crystal clear transparent protective cover for R 249, i only received one item, the the clear transparent protective cover and i did not receive any explanation as to why i did not receive the wireless Bluetooth in-earphones, what is worse, i paid in full for my order, please assist.. Desired outcome: I want them to send the or give me a refund.
Dog bark/ shock/ training collars
I am disgusted by the false advertising posted on these unethical shock devices that get strapped around the necks of these poor innocent animals! The epidermis of a dog is 3 - 5 skin cells thick (a third thinner than that of humans). Imagine being shocked on the neck but worse every time you communicated! I am a qualified dog trainer and the 2 main reasons for dog barking are boredom (owners aren't giving the dog enough activities), anxiety (the dog has a fear of being left alone, or a fear of strangers/ dogs/ other animals entering their home). Shocking a dog is not going to get rid of boredom or anxiety/ fear. It will only cause a dog to shut down completely. These devices are unethical and inhumane and go against the South African Animal Protection Act! These devices are affecting the well-being of our pets. I have seen burn marks on dogs' necks from these shock collars! They can not be labeled as "humane" on your website, that is confusing for dog owners and completely false advertising! Better yet just stop selling this awful equipment!
Desired outcome: Stop selling dog shock collars/ e collars/ bark collars they are damaging dogs well being and if you can't do that then stop advertising these devices as humane because they are far from it!

Today 3 august 2022...i received my parcel...i ordered a vape an vape juice...when i opened the box it was just the vape juice the vape box was empty...paid R520 for nothing so what must i do...phoned takealot kimberley told me they will send me an e mail that im still waiting for it was my first order but it wil b my last but im not going to leave it here you guys will hear from my lawyers i have the box and my tracking number

The parcel was delivered today @8 i opened the box the flavour was there but the vape box was empty i paid R520 for nothing not very happy at all and it was my first order im really disappointed
Fake Versace men's cologne sold
I bought a Versace men's cologne (100ml) from Takealot on 09 July 2022 on special for a price of R1,265. I had bought this cologne once before at a reputable outlet and really liked the scent, so I have been waiting to buy it again at a good price.
When I collected the item from the Takealot pick up point on 19 July 2022 and tested it at home, to my surprise it smelled nothing like the Versace Eros I had bought before. I immediately realised that I had been duped, and returned it for credit to the pick up point on 23 July 2022.
To my surprize I received an e-mail from Takealot (an automated service I'm sure) today 26 July 2022, informing me of the fact that my item has been rejected for return, because "the item was used and perfume is a non returnable item". This wreaks of dishonesty (excuse the pun); the item was advertised and packaged in the authentic packaging, but the cologne inside the bottle was no doubt not the real deal.
I refuse to be just another small fish taken advantage of by a big corporate, and hope this will help other customers from being duped as well.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of course, or at least expose them for their dishonesty in marketing a product that is not it's authentic self.
Not receiving my package
So I place day order on the 21st of this month and paid the same day. My order was scheduled to be delivered on the 29th of June according to the sms I received and on the app. As I'm busy checking the app tracking it has been delivered yesterday on the 25th 0f this around pass 12 during the day by the Fast and Furious courier company.
In evening I send an email to the take a lot app hoping to get a tracking number or what was happening because I didn't receive my order nor got contacted by the courier guys, the agent just said it is with the courier company there is no information he can share with me.
A whole R777 order I really want my package or a refund please.
On the other hand I I don't remember getting a tracking number I only have an order number when I called the courier company and gave them the order number they said it was invalid whilst the package states it was delivered, im heartbroken,hoping to get assisted

My package never reached its destination
I ordered some things off takealot then it said they were gonna arrive early in the morning at about 09:00 am. I get a massage from takealot saying no one was there to collect the package but. There was security guards and non of them say the delivery truck. It was not even seen on the security cameras that can see basicly the entire street. So my say is that the delivery truck never came to my location. And for that I would like a refund. I rather buy on Wish

Note that one doesn't even have to use the CD to install before using the monitor and all product installation info is available online.

Terrible courier and packaging service
I have had 4 consecutive orders with takealot that has had problems with the courier providers they use, Courier It and Fast n Furious couriers. My orders are usually delivered late or dropped off and i am not notified to collect.
On an occation I had to drive 169km extra to chase down the driver of fast n furious couriers that was suppose to drop of my package but then decided he would do it the next day knowing that I am waiting at the depo to collect. The very last package I received from takealot was extremely upsetting. There was a cup in for my husband birthday that reached me in pieces. The item that isnt breakable was bubble wrapped beyond recognition and the item that could brake was just in a small white box with absolute no insulation. Is this what we as paying customers are to expect from takealot as service?
Desired outcome: Would like decent and acceptable service for a change

Paid R60 for a special on a one day makita drill
On 7 may 2022 I wanted to buy the Makita tools for a one day special but then R69.62 was deducted from my account and I never received anything and my bank statement shows onlietgv.com. Now on 8 July 2022 the amount of R685.82 was deducted from my account t with onlinetgv.com as reference. what the hell is this. I am going to my bank to have it reversed today. I also found them on the IE and tried to force an unsubscribe as it seems that I subscribed to some service.
Not answering calls
Hi I am trying to call them regarding my orders ,I've been waiting for a long time. There is no response to emails. I ordered a week ago and delivery was supposed to be today, but my item isn't out for delivery. Takealot was always reliable.
