In July 2026, I received an email notification that activities on my account resulted in an unauthorised charge to my account for a International Data Plan
totalling $75.00. I immediately called T-Mobile to dispute this charge and I was told that the item had already been used. They then proceeded to tell me that the purchase was added-on from the second line on my account which is my 30 year old daughter's phone. This has rolled over into a second month and they, T-Mobile refuses to reverse the charge. They refuse to take responsibility for their system failing to verify who the purchaser was or ask the plethora of security questions on my account to keep this from happening. When I started this second line, I called three days in a row to verify that the phone I chose for the second line was free as long as I keep the second line active for 24 months. I again confirmed by T-Mobile that the second line would not have access to my account information, credit card or login information, or PIN codes, and that my daughter would NOT BE ABLE to make any changes to my account like ADD-ONS. I have repeatedly asked T-Mobile how my daughter was able to bypass security features access my account and make this add-on purchase for an International Data Plan
