Don't use Synchrony Bank for anything. They engage in deceptive business practices. They are untrustworthy, no ethics, no scruples, etc. etc. Also be very suspicious of any entity offering a Synchrony credit card to you. Because they are culpable also by promoting this fraudulent company. My wife obtained a Care Credit Synchrony Credit Card thru Discover Vision to pay for her eye surgery. Unbeknown to her was the fact that she was being charged a CREDIT CARD SECURITY FEEon a monthly basis. Which was conveniently hidden by Discover Vision when she initially obtained the card after signing form(s) in their office. Supposedly my wife secured a loan of 24 months INTEREST FEE. Which in reality sounded too good to be true. And that was the case in because we have encountered a nightmare with these charlatans. Because my wife was also being charged on a monthly basis her credit card security fee. Which was not part of her monthly payment for her actual eye surgery. So instead, some way and somehow, she was supposed to pay for this so called 'credit card fee' on a monthly basis or be charged to the tune of something a 27% to 30% monthly interest rate for it not being paid. Long story short. My wife did pay off her eye surgery bill. But now owes around $2700 (interest included) for her UNPAID monthly security fee for over 24 months. Which she never knew anything about thanks to not being told by Discover Vision when this transaction took place. As of now it looks like we are stuck with this bill because of their deception. The companies promoting these fraudsters are just as much to blame as anyone else. Boycott Synchrony Bank and any other institution using these hucksters. They push the envelope and reside in a gray area. Where it will be hard to get satisfaction from them even legally. Plus, there also is their so-called customer service. They are totally incompetent boobs who will not answer even the simplest of questions. Either due to incompetence or they were trained that way like monkeys. My wife talked to a supposed manager who was completely clueless. They have the absolute worst customer service that my wife and I have ever encountered. They basically will try to promote something else to you instead of HELPING YOU with a problem. Anybody who works for this company should be ashamed of themselves. They are the absolute worst. Plus, we will never do business again with Discover Vision. And other companies like Sam's Club, Lowe's, etc. etc. who use these shysters. They are all in it together.

Synchrony bank opened up a MasterCard in my name without my permission . I made a payment on 10/23/23 towards my jc Penny credit card , I received an email from synchrony bank on 10/23/23 claiming I hadn’t paid my jc Penny credit card . I not only paid my jc Penny credit card I paid $1,000 in cash on my balance of $1,444.84. Synchrony bank turned around and took that $1,000 and put it in a master card that I had no knowledge of nor do I have in my possession. I am livid I’ve been on the phone with several customer service rep , all had terrible customer service I was given the run around about this matter . I am seeking answers and Justice for all consumers who have suffered financially and emotionally from Synchrony Bank fraudulent business practices. I am seeking an attorney to file a class action lawsuit against Synchrony bank . Anyone interested in joining this suit I can be reached at moniqueharriel@yahoo.com .
