Unreliable and disappointing – swiss airlines
We had a terrible experience with Swiss Airlines. Multiple flight cancellations led to significant delays, and when we tried to return from Cancun to Zurich, a booking error meant we couldn’t board our flight. Despite trying to contact Swiss' customer service for over 24 hours, we were unable to reach anyone. As a result, we had to book a new flight with Air France for CHF 2,345. This is simply unacceptable service from an airline we once trusted. We expect a full reimbursement and will rethink our choice to fly with Swiss in the future. But now the don't even reply to our refund request. They just move our request between their sub companies.
Recommendation: Don't fly with Swiss

Two tickets that I did not use

Customer Services
On 3-16-24 I bought two tickets through the RISATRAVEL Travel Agency (Booking Ref. 37IRIM) to travel to Vienna;
28 April, Miami-Zurich (Flight LX 067)
29 April, Zurich-Vienna (Flight LX 3554)
A few minutes after Flight LX 067 took off, we smelled a smell of smoke in the cabin that alarmed everyone inside the plane and made the captain of the plane make the right decision to return to Miami Airport. When we landed we had to collect our suitcases and go to the Swiss counter, where they got us a flight to Madrid with AIREUROPA, we then had to go to the AIREUROPA Counter where they gave us only the Bording Pass for a flight to Madrid and they told us “that they could not give us the BOARDING PASS for the continuous flight to Vienna, that when we arrived in Madrid we had to collect our suitcases and look for the IBERIA Counter to arrange another flight to Vienna”. Faced with this new inconvenience and the possibility of not arriving in Vienna in time to join an excursion through three countries that we had already paid for with the EUROPAMUNDO agency, and that began its journey in that city on April 30 early in the morning, our daughter reserved and pay IBERIA (458.40 USD) for two Madrid-Vienna tickets. When we arrived in Madrid, we had to look for our suitcases again and go to the IBERIA Counter in another terminal for which we had to board a bus, there they gave us our BOARDING PASS for a Madrid-Vienna flight (the one our daughter had paid for), arriving then to Vienna instead of 12 at 7 pm (7 hours later).
Although I consider that we should receive a formal apology and some benefit from Swiss International Air Lines for the inconvenience and delays caused by the return of flight LX 067 to the Miami airport, I hope to receive the refund of what was paid by both of us. tickets on Flight LX 3554.
On 5-13-24, I sent a Request by Refund for both tickets, and a month and half after I have not received any answer.
After that, I sent to New York Office a new claim about this, and silent by answer,
What happened with my claim? Non one going to give me at least a satisfactory answer?

Cancellation and refund on business class round trip booked on 24 april 2024 booking code life by swiss air
Booking done on 24April 2024 by Swiss Air. Booking code no: OJLIFQ
Business Class return fare for 2 Passengers namely Mr Subhash Madan age 81 yrs and Dr Ms Sunita Madan age 80 yrs. For travel DEL-ZRH-IAD on 01Aug 2024 and return IAD-ZRH-DEL on 25August 2024.
Due to disclosures by Corona vaccine maker AstraZeneca, deposing in UK Courts that their corona vaccine COVISHIELD vaccinated people are at risk of side effects ie thrombosis now. This is particularly alarming for older people in the 80s, we had got vaccinated by COVISHIELD in April 2021(copy of vaccination certificate sent to swiss air).
This life threat to super old persons in such long journey is a clear "Force Majeure" condition warranting cancellation with full refund.
Therefore booking was cancelled by me 01May 2024 (within one week of making the booking when travel was due on 01Aug 2024). and swiss air has been requested for full refund on account of above unprecedented situation for life safety of old passengers in 80s.
In interim stock reply received that ticket is nonrefundable is unfortunate and unexpected. Swiss air at management level has to examine this matter and grant full refund. Particularly when we have apprised them that we have been frequent travellers to US by swiss air only and last two visits were in 2018 and in 2019 both by swiss air business class.
Claimed loss: On account of Force Majeure conition, Full refund of the payment of Rs 609,384 made to swiss air is required.
Desired outcome: Immediate refund of Rs 609,384 by swiss air.

Try reaching out to Swiss Air's customer service again, but this time, ask to speak directly to a supervisor or someone higher up in management. Emphasize the health risks and the loyalty you've shown as frequent travelers. If that doesn't work, consider contacting your credit card company to see if they can help dispute the charge. Also, sharing your story on social media and tagging Swiss Air can sometimes get their attention faster. Good luck!
Delayed luggage and no compensation from airline
I am a resident of Canada. I travelled with SWISS airlines to Zurich, Switzerland from London, UK on January 15th, 2024 with a return trip scheduled from Zurich back to London on January 18th and then my return with (Air Canada, separate booking on January 20th). Upon arrival in Zurich, my luggage was not delivered by the airline (SWISS AIRLINES).
Due to the delayed baggage, I spent more than $1500 CAD in the four days I was in Switzerland to purchase new work clothes, shoes, winter jacket, suitcase. My destination was Davos, Klosters not Zurich and I have proof of that I was to be attending the World Economic Forum in Davos for work. Unfortunately, as this was a work trip and I thought my luggage would arrive on the same day or one day later, I booked an airport hotel in Zurich so that if the luggage came, I would be close by as Davos Klosters, is 2hrs driving distance from Zurich one way. I would not have been able to stay 2 hours away and rush back to Zurich to collect my luggage during work hours if the airline had found my luggage.
As you can imagine, I couldn't have gone up Davos the day of my arrival without ANY clothing or personal needs that were in my bag. Getting to Davos daily and back to Zurich cost me OVER CHF600 daily for the car. Unfortunately, Zurich is expensive, and I had to buy most personal items that were missing and it was in the middle of winter and I had one light jacket which was not sufficient for the extremely cold weather in Switzerland. I also needed snow boats as Davos is full of snow during that time of the year. which was a major inconvenience as I had to be on the road daily at 5am to make my meetings for 8am and be driving in the cold and snowy conditions at 11pm midnight daily back to Zurich arriving at the hotel for 1am. My health was impacted, emotionally and mentally I was impacted. I couldn’t function as I should have at my job due to the missing luggage and I overspent, a budget that I didn't have. Not to mention I left Switzerland without my bag on January 18th and the airline had NOT communicated anything nor updated the missing luggage link, basically my luggage was deemed unknown as to where it was. I only received an update that my bag was being sent to Zurich on January 19th but I had already left Switzerland and bound for Canada. Why the airline didn't contact me to check where I was as they knew from my flight ticket I had departed Zurich on their airline is puzzling. Why was my bag being sent to Zurich when my flight with them was to leave Zurich on January 18th.
I got back to Canada and I was sick for 4 weeks with a heavy cold due to catching pneumonia during the travel in Switzerland and not having adequate clothing. I have sent 7 requests to SWISS Airlines and they have ignored all of them.
Claimed loss: I would appreciate a REIMBURSEMENT, an apology from the airline. I spent $1500 unbudgeted buying personal necessities, work clothes, winter jacket, snow boats, hotel stay at the airport, new suitcase
Desired outcome: I would like a reimbursement oof at least $1000 minimum for my pain and suffering, missing my personal belongings.

Of all Airlines around the world that I flew with, SWISS IS THE WORST. THE LIST IS TOO LONG TO TALK ABOUT. FROM THE UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE AGENT ON THE GROUND TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE. I lost all my precious gifts from Italy , my baggage was damaged and everything was stolen.
No one was able to help me, no manager, to talk, email address automatically with an answer always the same .I am so frustrate, and mad.No one to ask for help.I hope they close this company.
Is Swiss International Air Lines Legit?
Swiss International Air Lines earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%
Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.
We found clear and detailed contact information for Swiss International Air Lines. The company provides a physical address, 35 phone numbers, and 2 emails, as well as 4 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.
Swiss.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.
Swiss.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.
We looked up Swiss International Air Lines and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While Swiss International Air Lines has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 16% of 105 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- Swiss International Air Lines protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
- We conducted a search on social media and found several negative reviews related to Swiss International Air Lines. These reviews may indicate issues with the company's products, services, or customer support. It is important to thoroughly research the company and its offerings before making any purchases to avoid any potential risks.
Baggage Delay- Unresponsiveness to reimbursement claim
We flew from Boston to Berlin thru Zurich on August 15, 2023 to begin a 21-day European trip. Our baggage did not arrive with us in Berlin. Two of the 3 bags arrive 12 days later in Split, Croatia and the third arrived 31 days late on September 16, 2023, in Boston. We filed a claim (case no. 2309-LX-09917) on September 12, 2023 and received a response on September 16, 2023 with a proposed reimbursement. The proposal was far less than our claim and we requested an explanation of the proposal and received no reply to our request other than a statement that they stood by their proposal. Since that date I have emailed, called, and written to Swiss Air and have received no response. The total lack of responsiveness is truly amazing to me. At this point we are not arguing about the amount of the reimbursement but are seeking information about what they are proposing to reimburse.
Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

No assistance baggage lost with medical equipment
We lost one of our suitcases on flight of Swiss Air LX737/LX8038 from Amsterdam (Schiphol) with a short stop at San Jose to final destination Liberia (Costa Rica) on the first of January 2024.
At our final destination at Liberia Airport we didn't receive one of our baggage. The staff of the airport told us to fill in a lost baggage form and says that was enough and would contact us within 3 days. After 3 days we didn't heard anything so we tried to contact the airport again, but they now told us to directly contact Swiss Air as the operating airline. Swiss Air is keep on asking for a lost bag reference number which we didn't get from Liberia Airport. Our bag is lost now for 12 days and we haven't heard any thing yet. We have tried to fill in a lost bagage form through the website of Swiss Air but we get an error. We have contacted the airport of Zurich, Liberia, Swiss Air all with no result. It seems that we have been mis informed by the beginning and no one can help us out. Because we bought our ticket at Swiss Air, this airline should help us out!
We need help with urgency, among a lot of personal things there is medical equipment (diabetes glucose sensors) in the suitcase that we need for our 9 years old daughter soon!
Claimed loss: lost baggage with personal things and medical equipment for our 9 years old daughter!
Desired outcome: We need a contact person who can help us find our lost baggage

I have been put on a stopover via Zurich but when I made my booking it was for a nonstop which I definitely require. I contacted Swiss and twice they told me it was not them but the travel agent who must deal with this. I have tried contacting Opodo many times. I would like Swiss to put me on another flight on the same date with one of their star alliance partners or do something esle to help me. I dont believe it is right that they just fob me off onto Opodo.

Compensation for a cancelled flight
1. My flight from Zurich to London was cancelled due to the issue with UK on the 28 August 2023 (Monday). I was travelling with my husband.
2. At the airport I was advised to book a hotel up to 3 stars and wait for the next available flight.
3. The next available flight was on Wednesday which Swiss booked us on.
4. I booked a 3 star hotel for two nights in Zurich near a tram which goes to the airport.
5. I keep all the receipts in accordance with the instructions.
6. I submitted my claim and I was told that Swiss will only return €250 per person.
7. I contested this outcome because I followed all the directions that I was given by Swiss representatives and none of the mentioned the €250 limit.
8. Since Swiss has been very dismissive and non-responsive. I am still waiting for them to come back to me following my escalation. In the meantime, I am out of pocket for £800.
9. I was informed by Swiss that they are not able to provide me with guidance on how to make an external complaint to the relevant authorities.

Subject: formal complaint regarding recent flight experience
DearSwiss airline,
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with my recent travel experience with Swiss Airline on the flights from Manchester to Dubai and Dubai to Manchester via Zurich.
My journey, which should have been smooth and efficient, was marred by multiple delays and a complete lack of customer service support. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your service and to request compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused by your flight delays.
I booked a round trip flight from Manchester to Dubai with your airline, with the following details: Flight number: LX LX0391 / LX0242 Departure date and time: 12 September 2023, Arrival date and time: 12 September 2023, 8:00 PM Flight in Zurich missed due to delays by Swiss Air – Booked onto Emirates Airline after insisting I only had hand luggage – Delay 3.30 minutes Return flight number: LX LX0243 / LX0390 Departure date and time: 26 September 2023, Arrival date and time: 26 September 2023, 6:00 PM Connecting flight number: LX0390 (one of the engines did not work) DELAY 11.00 minutes Arrival date and time: 26 September 2023, 7:30 PM OnSeptember 12, my flight from Manchester to Dubai was delayed by 3 hours, causing me to miss my connecting flight. I was then rebooked on another flight, which was also delayed by 3 hours. On September 26, myflight from Dubai to Manchester experienced a delay of over 11 hours due to a problem with the left engine. Moreover,I received no assistance or information from your staff on what to do, where togo, who to speak to, or the next steps concerning the delays. I was left stranded and confused at the airports, with no guidance or support from your airline. There was no one waiting inside the airport to advice or direct us to the appropriate terminal or that we needed to change our flight tickets, that we had to go via a internal train, which platforms we had to goto, who we needed to speak with, how long the process would take – no one was thereto help ! This was not only frustrating and stressful, but also detrimental to my health. I suffer from sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, and a recent clot in my lung, among other health conditions. The long delays and the lack of proper care aggravated my symptoms and put me at risk of serious complications. I was for unfortunate that I did not have had to seek medical attention and pay for extra medication and treatment as a result of your negligence. According to the EU Regulation261/20041, I am entitled to compensation for the flight delays and the denial of boarding that I experienced. The regulation specifies that the compensation amount depends on the distance of the journey, as follows2: €250 for flights shorter than 1500 km €400 for flights between 1500 km and 3500 km €600 for flights longer than 3500 km As my flights were longer than 3500 km, I claim €600 for each delayed flight, which amounts to a total of €1200. In addition, I claim reimbursement for the medical health condition that I incurred due to your flight delays. In light of the aforementioned issues, I kindly request the following: A thorough investigation into the incidents described to prevent a recurrence. An apology for the inconvenience and distress caused during my journey. Appropriate compensation, reimbursement, medical health concerning injury, goodwill gesture, whether in the form of travel vouchers, mileage credit, or another suitable arrangement. I am hopeful that Swiss Airlines will take my feedback seriously and address these matters in a timely and satisfactory manner. I would appreciate a response to this complaint within14 days to confirm that my concerns are being addressed. If you fail to do so, I will take legal action and taking this to social media and report you to the relevant authorities. Please consider this email as an opportunity to demonstrate Swiss Airlines' commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. I believe that resolving these issues will only strengthen the trust and loyalty that passengers have in your airline. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt resolution and a more pleasant travel experience with Swiss Airlines in the future.
See attached ticket details.
Sincerely, Mohammed Ayub Ismail
Missed connection
I was due to travel from London to Zurich, connecting to Rome on 7.9.2023. There was a discrepancy in the passenger count resulting in the flight being delayed. Instead of 08.40-11.20 it operated 10.11-12.59. The onward flight was 12.40-14.20. I was rebooked onto another airline flying 18.45-20.10. The total delay was 5h 55m on timetable and 6h 10m actual. This appears to me to be a very simple claim under EU/261/2004 missed connection legislation.
When I contacted the Customer Services I got two responses, claiming Swiss didn't operate the flight. It was clearly a Swiss A.321neo aircraft owned and operated by the company. They then closed the case without taking any action despite two replies form me requesting information on their definition of "operating carrier".
It seems the airline has a poor reputation in the industry for paying these claims.
"The flight you indicated LX317 on 07 September 2023 this was the flight you were rebooked to upon the cancellation of your initial flights LH2483 & LH187 on 11 September 2023 was operated by Lufthansa airlines.
Therefore in line with the said regulation, only the operating carrier can process your claim.
For this reason, I must inform you that a further evaluation or compensation is not possible on our side.

Refund
We made a partial refund of our ticket for $1400 AUD in August 2022 and are yet to be paid. Our booking reference is J36SK6.
I have called the airline customer support up to 10 times and have been told that they have spoken to the refunds department and that it has been processed and will be paid within 7 days. We then wait for the payment and nothing happens. This has happened time and time again.
When emailing the airline, their information customer support team shrug responsibility and tell me that they do not deal with refunds but fail to offer a contact to the refunds department.
I just want somebody to help me and at least pretend they care.
It has been a genuinely horrible experience trying to get the airline to pay me the money that they owe me and have owed me for over a year.
Desired outcome: Payment of Refund
Wrongful downgrade from business to economy
We booked and paid for a business class flight (OAX8U8), from Zurich to Tallin. To our dismay, the passenger, DSG CEO Yaron Assabi, was allocated an economy class seat. A wrongful downgrade and subsequent undeserved discomfort in his flight to Tallin.
We were thus forced out of our pressing commitments, to make numerous futile efforts to contact Swiss air to try and reverse this error. Our tireless plea fell on deaf ears, as every customer support centre that was contacted, gave a hopeless response that there was nothing that they could do.
To add insult to injury, he boarded the flight to find multiple empty business class seats, yet his booked seat had been re-allocated to another passenger. He was then offered 200 Euros, requested to sign a form to give them consent to downgrade him, which he did not take.
We were utterly appalled, not only, by the error made by Swiss air, but by your complicit response, where a fault of this magnitude was treated with indifference, and no effort being made to resolve it.
You can appreciate that, with sustainable and responsible business behaviour being an important pillar of your corporate strategy, an ailing client service proposition only proves to be counterproductive.
We hope that Swiss air will make an effort to address and remedy this disastrous outcome.
Desired outcome: Swiss Air to take responsibilty
Swiss global fare ticket
I have booked several Swiss Global Fare tickets over several years. The ticket is always with Star Alliance carriers. We are members of Miles and More, so enjoy earning miles and status. The most recent ticket from Swiss does not include a Star Alliance carrier between Australia and North American west coast. If Star Alliance is a team why does Swiss use Qantas, a nonStar Alliance member, to connect me, I am in Australia, with the US west coast?
My ticket agent says Swiss does not have a contract with any of the Star Alliance carriers connecting to the US west coast. I have written to Swiss, they sent me to Miles and More.
Reservation discrepancies from customer support
Hi,
I recently booked my round trip from Chicago to Delhi.
Date of departure- Aug/1/2023
Date of return- Aug/29/2023
Reservation number- RUOEXQ
Before making the payment on 6/15, I had called customer care of Swiss and specifically shared the flight details, traveling in business class and confirmed if I can take my in cabin dog in the flights. I was told on phone that all the flights have availability and I can proceed with my reservation. I made a payment and are facing following issues now:
Issue-1
My passenger details clearly say Ms. Avni Sabhani, but my reservation confirmation states Mrs. Avni Sabhani.
Issue-2
I have called three times to register my pet and have gotten three completely different information. First told me that my flight does not have availability. Second told me that she had booked it and I need to just send her Vet signed form. Third told me that code share flights are not applicable to travel with pet.
I made the payment only after confirming with customer care and now I don't even know if I can take my pet with me or not. The first leg from CHicago to Zurich is operated by United and now I am struggling to register my pet there as well.
In total I have called Swiss airlines customer care 4 times and have received a different information each time. I am feeling betrayed, confused, anxious and frustrated. I do not know how to take my pet with me now.
Desired outcome: I need a confirmation to be able to take my pet in cabin with me on the entire trip and I need my reservation corrected.
Refund
My ref M3H5S3. I applied for seat upgrade a second time as the first one showed error. A few days later my credit card was charged twice although the upgrade was not successful. After some frustrating email exchanges I received an email on 18 May confirming the amount to be refunded within 14 days of the submission of request for refund. On 7 June I sent an email for status. On 8 June I received email that the refund request has finally been submitted but the amount is only for one charge to my credit card. This means there was nothing done after the 18 May email and I sent another email on 8 June stating that the refund amount is not correct. There has been no response.
Desired outcome: To get my full refund as acknowledged in their email of 18 May within 7 days.

Re: Missed connecting flight from EWR to LHR - scheduled at 18:00: Request for Compensation
After missing my connecting flight in New York through no fault, I was forced to buy another ticket to return to England (Dollars: $545.72 + $100 in baggage fees). I am making a complaint about the time of the departure of the connecting flight (JFK to Newark in under 4 hours). After being stuck in an immigration queue for 2.5 hours due to the number of passengers arriving at JFK at that time of day; having to collect my bags; and obtain my own transport during rush hour to make a two-hour journey when at that time of day it would usually take three at a push. Furthermore, upon arrival at EWR, I would have been required to check in again in order to obtain a boarding pass; check my bags; and clear security: This is absolutely impossible, and this ticket should not have been sold for that reason. Airports stipulate that one should arrive for a flight at least two hours before departure in order to ensure that the above processes are undertaken to be able to ensure one can fly. Again - totally impossible. After eventually leaving the airport at approximately 16:45 hours, I attempted to reach EWR. However, I called your customer services ahead of my arrival and they informed me that I would probably miss the flight because the gates closed at least 15 minutes before take-off, and given my current location, it was unlikely that I would clear all necessary procedures to get to the gate on time. I nevertheless attempted to continue my journey, but the driver of the car informed me that we had at least two hours in the current traffic to reach EWR. I, therefore, decided to travel to my Aunt’s home in New York in order to try and reschedule my flight with Swiss Air. However, when I called Swiss Air to reschedule - based on my flexible ticket, and the fact that missing my flight was a consequence of lousy scheduling by Swiss Air, I was informed that i would have to deal with United. I subsequently called United and they stated that I would have to deal with CheapoAir LTD, the company through which I made my original booking. After what was by then several hours of seeking a resolution, I eventually spoke to CheapoAir and explained my situation. They contacted your airline on my behalf, again, and someone from your airline explained that as far as they were concerned, I was a “no show” and what therefore rebook me onto a later flight. This opinion was arrived at even after CHeapoAir explained the circumstances of the missed flight. Nevertheless, you still refused to rebook me, and in order to get home, I was required to pay the above $545.72 + $100 in baggage fees, via CheapoAir, with Lufthansa Airlines, as they were the cheapest and most convenient flight I could find a home. This is an extraordinary financial burden: I am not well-off, and this unexpected expenditure continues negatively impact me to date.
It is, therefore, my contention that due to the unrealistic layover time between my flight from JFK and EWR, which required at least seven hours, or even an overnight layover in order to reach EWR on time, I am requesting that you reimburse me, by way of compensation, the $545.72 + $100 baggage fee I had to outlay to continue my journey home to England. I have available receipts upon request.
Finally, I have tried to complain directly to the company since my return on 03 May 2023 but have been given the run around with email addresses that do not work, and telephone numbers that do not connect. I think their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. Please help me!
Kind regards,
Mr A B Codrington
Desired outcome: I want to be reimbursed for the cost of the ticket I had to purchase for the missed flight.
Cancelled flights
Dear Swiss Team!
Could you help me to handle following situation:
I have booked tickets through Bravofly company , Booking [protected] Von Zurich nach Tallin 02.04.2023 and Tallin nach Franfurt and Frankfurt nach Zurich 15.04.2023.
I got information from the company that my flights are cancelled.
I made a new reservation from the company WEg.de PNR P72EP6, I went through this page to make on-line check inn. and I was sure that all is good.
Zurich -Tallin 02.04.2023 and Tallin -Zurich 14.04.2023.
On the way to Tallin everything was good and I didnt know that I was checked inn based on my first reservation!
Nobody told me that I had double booking...
I understood that there is a mistake only on the 13.04.2023 when I tried to make on-line check inn on my flight back. My husband helped me to reach someone on the help desk by telephone. To solve all issues took 4 hours from us! And a lot of nerves. At the end we came back with a diffrent flight from Tallin to Zurich on 14.04.2023.
Now Bravofly company doesnt want to pay me money back as they said that I took my flight from Zurich to Tallin with their booking but I had concelation from them.
I dont understand whom made mistake : Airlines, Agency but I want to get my money back.
Cpuld you assist me in this situation. One month I was waiting for full answer from the agency but as I understood from them, they are not going to pay me this summ for the tickets from Zurich to Tallin. I want to understand who made this mistake and to get explanation.
Thank you in advance,
Anastasia

Lost luggage
My baggage was lost during my connection in Zurich in my travel from Amsterdam (LX 0725) to Tokyo Narita (flight LX 0160) on 7th May 2023.
Lost luggage was declared at Tokyo Narita airport, after it was found missing from the baggage claim upon arrival.
My luggage will only delivered on the 10th May.
I have then been forced to by clothes to change for the 9th and 10th May, as I have to attend a conference.
Hence, I claim $100 as a compensation for the items I had to buy.
If any item is lost (stolen) or damaged in my luggage, I will held Swissair responsible.
Desired outcome: US$ 100 compensation to buy new clothes to attend a conference.

It’s unbelievable that Swiss Airlines, once trusted, left you stranded due to multiple flight cancellations and a booking error. Having to shell out CHF 2,345 for a new flight, on top of the lack of customer service, is beyond frustrating. Being bounced around between their sub-companies instead of receiving a clear response for your refund only adds to the poor experience. Hopefully, Swiss steps up and provides the full reimbursement you're owed—anything less would be unacceptable. It might be time to escalate this through consumer protection channels if they continue to ignore your requests.
