Super 8 review: Toilet overflowed and nothing was done about it.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Blue Earth, MN on Saturday, May 29th - Sunday, May 30th. At 4:30 a.m. we woke up to the sound of running water in the bathroom. The toilet was overflowing onto the bathroom floor and onto the carpet outside of the bathroom. My husband spoke to the lady at the front desk who said she would send someone right away to look at it. No one ever came. I then spoke with her and she said she couldn't leave the front desk and she asked the manager to come. I waited at the front desk for him for over 15 min. and he never arrived. I went back to the room and the smell was horrendous. I asked to be moved to another room and she gave us a room with only one bed (the original, smelly room had two beds for three people). Needless to say we got no sleep. I had asked her to send the manager to speak with us and he never came. When I checked out I spoke with someone who said he knocked on our door but we were asleep which wasn't true - since we had only one bed for three people my husband and daughter were awake the entire time. Our daughter was sick from the stench and actually vomited. I asked to be reimbursed for our stay and were told they would not. Needless to say we were exhausted the entire day which was extremely unfortunate since we were attending our granddaughter's graduation party in the late afternoon. This experience literally ruined our trip. We should be reimbursed for our stay and honestly, the health department needs to check this place out. I would NEVER recommend anyone to stay in this motel.
