My husband and I went to lunch at Subway #19828-0 at 14 Lilac Mall, Rochester, NH 03867 on Tuesday, May 27th at 12:38. ID Trans # 1/A-336308. We both ordered subs, drinks and chips and the bill was $18:49. I used a Subway gift card and added points. I have two gift cards left. Subway is our most visited restaurant. When we sat down in the restaurant to eat we both realized that the bread was extremely stale. Inedible. It turned to crumbs. I took the subs back to the register and the girl called the manager and I told her these are hard as a rock. She immediately got defensive and snapped nack that the bread just came out of the oven. I told her I eat at Subway all the time and this bread did not just come out of the oven. Instead of offering to make two more subs she immediately said I'm giving you a refund and then you're going to leave and not come back. I said just take the meat, cheese etc. off the stale roll and put it on fresh rolls. She said I don't have to listen to some 90 year old woman. Leave and don't come back. (I'm hardly a 90 year old woman) My husband and I were both shocked to be treated that way. This has never happened to us before. By the way, the lettuce in both holders was brown, the spinach wilted and the tomatoes were translucent from age. Not too appealing.
