customer satisfaction issues with rude customer service
Hi,
As a long time strabuck client, I love to go starbucks with my wife. We sit, drink our coffees and do our works there. When we travel, we always stop by starbucks to try what they offer different from where we live.
We do this, cause starbucks all around the world have very similar standards that we think above many other brands. We love to find similar high standards in one store all around the world.
But, this year, 2 times, we had to deal with very non-customer-centric behaviours at starbuck indonesia`s store location.
Both happened in starbucks indonesia aeon mall bsd store.
1st incident was months ago so I skip that.
2nd incident was today.
My wife asked for her fresh brewed coffee on ice. Simple. Ice and brewed coffee. As she can not tolerate cold brew or americano, she loves to drink this. She orders this drink in any starbucks around the world.in turkey, in malaysia, in thailand, in taiwan, so on.
But somehow this location told us they can not do it and tried to sell us cold brew. We told them we prefer fresh brewed coffee on ice but they insisted that it`s not on the menu they can not. So, we asked for ice in a tall cup. They replied us as in the same manner that they won`t give us plastic glass.
We, then, wanted to communicate with starbucks indonesia customer service.
They replied with the same manner. They said "if we want ice coffee we can get cold brew". Oh! Thanks, we were stupid enough not to know this. We know what we want, we know what we drunk so far.
We thought starbucks is the place where we can chill and not to worry about bad customer service. But, starbucks indonesia sure is ruining it for us. We are about to change our choices about starbucks here and move to another brand where we don`t get this kind of bad customer service.
vanilla bean frappe
On 12/17/17 at about 545 am my son and I were scheduled for a flight from el paso texas to san antonio texas. I went to the starbucks at the airport #elpsta02 I ordered a vanilla bean frappe and a salted caramel hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was lukewarm and my son found a brown hair in his frappe. We were already on our 600 am flight to san antonio when he found the hair and I discovered my chocolate was lukewarm. For 8.20 plus tax for two small drinks I expected better service.
barista's attitude, decision to close store early
On 12/17/17 at approximately 6:30 am the starbucks in the 5 points shopping center in santa barbara was abruptly closed by a short, chunky, blue haired female barista who announced that by law starbucks could not force her to work during "poor air quality", she threw down her apron and told the customers in line that she was closing immediately. Now this was the morning of the thomas wildfire, the worst wildfire santa barbara has ever experienced, the many customers in line and enjoying their beverages throughout the very crowded store were either firefighters or evacuees, both of whom really needed a hot beverage. This particular starbucks on this particular morning happened to be literally feet from the wildfire command center set up in the sears parking lot, so this blue haired barista's decision to close the store early cost starbucks an absolutely huge day of revenue. But more than the money starbucks lost by not being open on such a busy day, this barista's attitude and treatment of these very brave firefighters was disgraceful. It wasn't smoky in the climate controlled store, and it was an insult to the firefighters, most of whom were from out of town or out of state, who were literally going out to risk their lives to save her home and her town, this whiny little blue haired wimp gave the middle finger to a group of brave heroes. She should be fired and starbucks should be ashamed!
worker not do their job bad leadership
I what's working for the land lord and your team will not recycling at all. I have call your company 3 time now and it making it worst on me. The trash company came to your guys gave the same paperwork I was give I and talk to your manger about it. They known I have to clean up be hide them and now it now stop leaving trash all over the place for me to pick up.
starbucks keeps giving me the wrong drinks
I have been to starbucks 3 times this week, and each time starbucks provided me the wrong drinks. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. My husband picked up a venti iced tea for me (non-sweetened). When he got home and gave me the drink it was sweetened! While this may not seem like that big of a deal, let me reiterate: this is the third time this week drinks have been messed up! I don't like sweetened tea. Let's also bring up the fact that i'm diabetic. I looked at the sticker on the cup, and sure enough, it said no cane syrup. Frustration! I drove back to starbucks and asked for the correct tea. They said sorry, and said they would get me a new one. They did, and it was unsweetened. I guess I was expecting a little something extra - a coupon perhaps for my troubles of having to drive back to replace my drink with the correct drink? Apparently, not.
salted caramel hot chocolate
I went to the starbucks on warrenton rd in fredericksburg, va this morning. I do not drink coffee but I do like hot chocolate. I order a salted caramel hot chocolate and when I get to the office and take a drink it tastes like coffee. I pull down the cardboard drink holder they put over the sticker with my order and it was entered as a salted caramel mocha hot chocolate. I specially ordered just the hot chocolate. So I wasted what was probably $5 on a drink I cannot drink nor can I go out and replace it. It was my first time going to starbucks and I don't think I will go again. Very disappointed with the service and the undrinkable drink.
bacon gouda and egg sandwich
Again, i'm unsatified with another starbucks purchase. I purchased the bacon gouda and egg sandwich, and there wasn't anything bacon. So I just had an egg and cheese sandwich. I guess every time I order I have to check my food, this happened december 11, 2017 around 7 am. I didn't have time to drive back and complain, so here I am submitting this complaint.
not getting my drink within a reasonable time. I waited 17 minutes. not receiving an apology but treated like a possible fraudulent customer.
I went to starbucks on 810 e valley blvd, alhambra, ca 91801. I ordered a grande hot cafe latte and bought a pound of christmas blend. I then proceeded to wait. As I waited, I decided to buy a 20oz tumbler to go with the christmas blend as a gift. Then in line, I decided to get a chocolate croissant. Then I proceeded to wait some more. I then realized that all the people that had been waited behind me had gotten their orders. I approached the barista and asked how much longer it would take to make my cafe latte. I noticed there was a drink on the counter for a cafe latte for gloria and my name is maria. I didn't want to assume it was mine and they had simply made a mistake with the name. The barista looked at the drink on the counter and then said he'd make it for me. He then told a women, who seemed to be supervising, that he never got my order. The women asked if I had a receipt. Mind you, i've been to the register twice and had a starbucks bag with me. I looked for my receipt and gave it to her. I also pointed out the time I placed the order and told her that i'd been to the register twice. She said she just needed to make sure I had paid for it. Well she could have asked the women on the register if I had ordered a drink. But I get it, I might be trying to get a free drink after spending money on all the other items. I simply wanted an apology for the mistake of not placing my order or for placing it with the wrong name and for having me wait 17 minutes. Instead, after I pointed out the time I had placed the coffee order, she simply repeated that she just needed to make sure I had paid for it. When I told her that I had waited 17 minutes, in case she didn't know the current time, she repeated again that her concern was that I had actually paid for my $3.95 drink. I had spent at least $40. She then told me to have a good rest of my day! Well good day and goodbye! I will never spend another penny in this location. I was there on december 11 from 7:23 to 7:40.
dried cake serve and reason said, company asked staff to.
I went to starbucks in jbr to have decent time that I order a piece of red velvet cake along with hot chocolate as attached receipt for you reference.
We I got 1 bite of the red velvet cake was extremely dried, and disappointed taste than any other experience I had before. Thus I brought back the cake and share the feedback to staff name of tham and I heard even more surprised answer from him. "all the cake is dried, even though I change to any other, it will be the same. Then it will waste 2 cakes and I cannot waste 2. This should be brame to outsourced cake company which supplies for starbucks cake. They give instructions to sell all the cake even though it is dried or not, till it to sell all the products. They receive the cake in the morning, and unable to throw any of cakes even though the quality is unable to sell. He admits it is dried, and said can't to anything."
I asked for refund, and no problem and refund 23aed back by cash.
After he came back to me asked, "are you going to complain? And started to say all the above explanation all over again.
I'm extremely disappointed to receive this service and get this quality of service as starbucks. As customers perspective, we have our expected quality of taste that we go to starbucks. However this is unforgivable. To be honest, if you are unable to deliver same taste as guest expected, why operating the starbucks for 24 hrs? It is good answer that you guys are selling the cake from in the morning 7:00am till next day 7:00am as long as it was not sold before and it is not expired? Even though it is dried or not dried? Employee was forced to sell this products? I even let you employee to try the disgusting cake and he said,"yes I know" and you still sell this.
With this experience me and my partner was speechless.

never received correct drink order
I was at a starbucks last week and went inside to order my grande white mocha; I was charged the correct price for a grande but received a tall. I told the barista I ordered a grande, he sighed and tossed the tall drink in the trash to make me a new one. When I finally got my grande white mocha, it wasn't a white mocha at all. The cup was filled with just warm milk. I felt so defeated that I had to ask again to finally get what I ordered. And when I did finally get what I ordered, all the employees looked so annoyed with me. I left the establishment feeling very unhappy.
silver swarovski card
My card was hacked through a starbucks store in canada. At the time of purchase I was buying the card with the promise of a lifetime gold membership was never reinstated after the report of the loss. I'm very upset that I purchased this so called special edition that is now worthless. Never buy special edition cards that can be hacked, and never link them to a credit card for reload it is not safe.
poor value for money

I went to starbucks at disneyland paris on saturday 25/11/17, and were quite shocked to have paid €5 for a cuppacino, while if I go to an independent coffee shop in paris, firstly the price is better, and the taste and quality is far better than starbucks.
I would any day prefer a different cafe than yours, you are truly ripping your customers off.

The lady was rude... I spent almost 20 bucs and was treated so rudely. She acted as if I had something. I'm not sure if it was ah bad day thing or the color of my skin thing. I jus feel like the corporate should really be concerned about how there businesses are ran. This is your brand and the employees reflect poorly for your brand. Be concerned because it's just your money right. I will never shop at starbucks again for how poorly I was treated. I'll get coffee and fruit else where but coporate this truck stop probably brings in good money because truckers spend money good money and for her to have threw my receipt and not even greeted me and had ah attitude and me never meeting her before reflects bad on ur brand...

lemon iced pound cake
11/10/17 starbucks lemon iced pound cake was my favorite dessert item from any source for years. I had one yesterday and it was not the same. If you have changed the recipe, please go back to the original. The original had flavor, and was dense enough to dunk into your latte (soy latte to be exact). The icing was also dense enough to hold to the cake and, it had a strong lemon flavor as did the cake. The new pound cake falls apart as you take it out of the bag, the icing falls right off and sticks to the bag being too sticky to retrieve. The cake has a gummy texture when you bite into it, no flavor. I am so sad... Please bring back what used to be a superior product.

no coffee in my mocha
October 12, 2017 @ chicago international airport # e9. After getting off the plane to catch up with other family members in other parts of the terminals I wanted a coffee. So, I hurriedly ordered 2 drinks one for me and one for my daughter. The one I ordered was a 20 or 24 oz whch iced mocha. After hurrying away to get to another terminal I realized it contained no coffee. To which I was disappointed because I really needed that coffee (lol). And it wasn't cheap.

India they have completed 100 stores, but service was pathetic. Celebration for 100 stores completed in india. Service was zero during celebration. I had to wait for one and half hour for order of tall mocha cappuccino.
I was at the counter asking continously for my order. But I was been told to wait.
When asked for the manager named mukesh. The staff at the counter was reluctant to call for him.
Did you ask what the reason for the wait was?

I went with my wife and son to walk thorough for as always being startbuck customer to get coffee and tea. We order coffee and tea but barrister name trent gave coffee fast but took more than 20 minis to open window and give tea. Which was ready and kept at window. When we knocked the window, he got upset & when we said that this is longest time took to make simple hot elgrey tea. He said this is normal & this is what we do. Then I asked for water for my wife without ice. Then he brought with ice and when I asked that can he give without ice. He said this is what he will get & shut the window with some obscene words, which I could not got but it was something f.. K you. This I never had in my last 3 years. Being gold memember & living in bedford, nh, we never get such worst customer service. Trent is worst & I want startbuck managment provide him proper training.
starbucks customer service at edmonton airport
I was ordering a latte from rachael at starbucks. I saw how frustrated and rude she was to the guests before me. When it was finally my turn to order I asked her how her days was. She told me she wished she could go home. I told her I was sorry she wasn’t having a good day. I repeated my order 3 times to rachael. I then went to pay with my app and was told it wasn’t working.
Upon getting my drink it was not what I ordered. The girl dumped it out looked at the cup. Proceeded to make a new one. Once again it was not what I ordered. Turns out rachael did not correctly put my order on the cup.
We all have bad days. But this person clearly is in the wrong industry if she is rude and unhappy with her job.
This was my first encounter after getting off my flight and I was very disappointed.
starbucks pound cake order
This location was 16th street and pacific ave, this always happened but never in the actual wrapper. So disappointed when the girl says there's nothing they could do that's how they come. I can't give that to the doctor I work for. The attached pictures are from seperate days. I have returned to this location just never ordering the lemon pound cake again.
I don't understand what's wrong with the product. It looks just fine to me.

I just called two of your starbucks here in sammamish wa. I called to get information on your travelers coffee and your cambro's coffee. I need them for an event next week. Your staff does not know the cost of any of these coffee containers. The barista told me that starbucks offers a 20 cup or 40 cup but he and she could not give me a price. I was put on hold by both locations as they went to ask a manager. Nobody could offer me a price. Absolutely ridiculous.
