Sonic Drive-In review: Orange shake

I ordered an orange shake and received a vanilla shake. When I asked the store manager to add orange flavoring he refused to do so stating “ since I already paid for my order, they wouldn’t have any way to charge me again for adding orange”

I know that sounds unbelievable, but it’s true.

I went to contact the manager again to get his quote on why he wasn’t able to correct this mistake and my microphone picked up the entire conversation:

Me; I ordered but received a vanilla shake. I need to get your quote on why you can’t fix that for me when I ordered an orange shake, but I received a vanilla shake. I need to know your reply and why you can’t fix that for me
Manager: because you wanna ask something else but we’re not gonna do that. I’m not gonna do that. I’m not adding anything else

Me: you guys forgot to put orange flavoring in it and I want some orange flavor in it that

Manager: you ordered the orange flavor.

Me: Yes,

Mgr: you didn’t order.

Me: It told me it would taste like a dream sickle

At this point a carhop approached my car and ask about the issue.

Me; there’s no orange flavor to it and I was asking him to put some orange flavoring in it

Carhop: well maybe maybe they just didn’t put enough in there.

Me: I just wanted to know his reason why he won’t add it so I have it for my complaint the exact reason oh my gosh, she’s not even gonna answer me now I’ll just go with the original reply that you gave me which was you wouldn’t have any way to charge me for it.

He is the worst manager I have ever encountered and he should not be in this role.
