Hello,

This incident occurred at ShopRite location in New City, NY 10956 on August 4, 2025, between 10:30 and 11:00 AM.
I wrote listed corporate contacts about the incident that same day but haven’t heard back.

While visiting the floral department to search for an anniversary item, I encountered an issue with incorrect labeling and asked the employee on duty, “Jenny” (unconfirmed because her name-tag was removed during the incident), if it could be corrected. She responded that it was not her job to “babysit the flowers all day,” and added that “customers should figure it all out themselves.” Despite working in the floral department, she refused assistance, removed her name tag, and became verbally aggressive when I requested to speak with a manager.

When Manager Slavko Profaca arrived, instead of de-escalating the situation or addressing Jenny’s behavior, he accused me of yelling at staff—though Jenny was the one shouting. His response added to what was already a hostile and troubling interaction.

I requested via email that they immediately preserve all relevant surveillance footage—including audio if available—from the floral department and adjacent areas covering this time frame. This request included any store documentation or internal reports related to the event. Again, I’ve received no response.

Claimed loss: Paid double listed price

Desired outcome: Written apology from the manager and the employee as well as a refund
