I called the pharmacy to request a pick-up for my husband for pain medication needed to fill on extreme pain only. I called the automatic fill telephone option but when the wait was after 5pm (it was noon), I transferred the line to speak with the pharmacy team to explain I needed it sooner than 5 hours as he was in extreme pain and I was told that they could not accommodate. They said that if I could not wait they would have no issue sending it to another local drug store to fill sooner. I asked if this was my only option and they said "yes". As a business owner and loyal client of Shoppers in my community, I did not feel very valued. The client service at this Shoppers location has certainly taken a turn for the worse over the last year. Not only are they not helpful, they are also fine with losing clients to local competitors.
