I called the Sams Club in Tyler Texas to see what happened when I was given an old prescription instead of the current one. I was told that was my own fault for not checking it. I did look at the printed label which said Lithium (both prescriptions were Lithium). I remarked to the lady that anymore you have to literally take each medication out of the bottle because you never know what your going to get anymore. Her response was ridiculous. She said yeah we have so many customers its impossible to tell if we have given the right medications or not. I responded with maybe we should contact cooperate and let them know you can no longer service the customers you have safely! She told me go ahead and call them. Possibly place a quality control person, definitely educate the employees not to be rude to the customers because without customers there is no need for Sams. I know Sams is like to big to fail but guess what they are putting a Costco less than 50 miles from my home.
Claimed loss: Just my time out of my life spent driving back and having to pay since insurance is not going to pay for the correct perscription.
Desired outcome: Train these employees that customers still matter.
