Safeway review: Pharmacy

The pharmacy at pak n save in emeryville ca is consistently late to open. Today, it is 10:10am and still closed. Nobody is able to answer the phone during regular business hours and the pharmacy tech - older woman - has an attitude that says very clearly, she doesn’t want to be here and doesn’t care about your rx. They constantly lose my rx and forget to make proper orders. Offer no solutions or clear answers. It’s very disheartening. Because the clientele is low income people of color, I can see why Safeway thinks it’s ok to be terrible. At other Safeways, in more affluent neighborhoods, the service is much better. Even a mile or 2 away it is a completely different experience.
