Windshield replacement
Safelite installed new aftermarket windshield in late March 2022 - windshield cracked by passenger side frame arm (beginning September 4.5months), Safelite rep came out on October 1st (rep. Conner/Bayonne Safelite) to verify windshield was covered under warranty. He took pictures from inside & outside of truck, spoke w/ his office on the phone, sent pics to office while he was here & said it would be covered. After calling, received approval October 19,2022 - Safelite Bayonne, NJ came out on October 20th (Marquis) @ 4:25 & is now denying warranty claim - he said he could not see damage from outside - he didn't look from the inside my vehicle - just denied it was a stress crack without seeing it or looking from inside to see it
There is no mark on the outside of my windshield, no ruff spot from ANY impact - you can see it from inside of windshield only - nothing hit my windshield - I walked out to find windshield cracked on passenger side 1/2 way down the window at windshield frame Arm - stress crack from metal frame arm- it has been cracking more since they looked at on 10/1/2022 & I picked up my windshield wiper & it cracked more
spoke w/ rep from Bayonne on phone - don't understand how 1 tech & office says it's covered (Conner) other tech who didn't look at it says it's not - made decision & said they get in trouble with warranty claims
Now they're trying to blame it on my windshield wiper - After I've now driven to Florida in Hurricane Ian. They looked at it before I went
What is going on! Some nationwide warranty
They should have fixed it on October 1st like I was told they would!
Desired outcome: WANT SAFELITE TO STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY & COVER A 4.5 MONTH WINDSHIELD
No service left waiting with no answers.
Safelite gave me bad service, I had an appointment for them to come to me to install a windshield I sat and waited for the time window they were supposed to come. I called customer service and still no satisfaction all she could tell me is the tech is not answering his phone. The next morning, I called back the first agent told me they will have someone get in contact with me after waiting two hours no one reach out to me, so I had to call back again for them to tell me they have to schedule me for next week. Now I have to cut my service calls in order to satisfy them when they will be making money, but I will have to cut mines short because of the bad service.
Installation of rear window
On 09/08/2022 I had the rear window replaced on my 2021 F250. Several days later I noticed the passenger side roof trim was flapping in the wind. I took the vehicle back to the installation store in San Antonio, TX. The technician argued with me that was not his fault. After several minutes they accepted responsibility.
A week later I received a text message informing me of an installation appointment. Being pro-active I contacted to ensure the trim piece was on hand. I was informed that the trim piece had not been received and that the estimated delivery date was in a couple of days. On 10/06/2022 I contacted the installation store and spoke with the manager (Sonia) and she informed me that she had not received the trim piece and she would call me back. She did not call me back. I called her back and she informed me that the part was ordered from North Park Lincoln. I contacted NP Lincoln and the informed me that they no order on file. They (NP) informed the part was in stock. I called the Loop 410 store again and spoke with the manager again and she no answer. I informed her that issue need to be resolved.
Desired outcome: Request the required part needed be procured very soon and my vehicle be repaired in a timely manner.
Paint on my car
On January 31, 2022, not only did the repair tech call to push our appointment back to later in the day, he used Duct tape to hold the windshield in place. When I took it off, it peaked the paint off the roof of my car. The Shenandoah, TX. Store manager, Hugo Chavez, was rude and wasted my time and the time of the body shop, by sending me to get an estimate. You can’t contact the corporate office to complain and their web site just sends you in circles. They won’t fix it. I will never use or recommend them again.

Broken windshield
Earlier this month, I contacted the mobile Safelite number in Laredo, TX by filing a claim through Progressive Insurance. I had a small chip in the middle of the passenger side of the windshield. My car was parked on campus where I work, and the repair person had contacted me on his way to the site. At that time, I had explained very clearly where the trip was. He indicated he would call me upon arrival. 20 minutes later after receiving no calls, I began to exit my building to see what was going on. On my way out of the building, the technician called me and indicated that he must report a failed repair. Not knowing what that was, since I'd never had this experience before, I walked over to the car and he showed me a crack up about 6 inches at the bottom of the drivers side of the windshield. When I ask why the chip that I had indicated was not repaired, he said it was a surface scratch. I told him I'd never seen any damage at the location that is now a 6 inch crack in my windshield. Also, he didn't call me when he arrived so I could show him where the damage was. Instead, I now have a cracked windshield for which I am going to have to pay my deductible which is usual, means the entire amount. Keep in mind, that the windshield was not cracked prior to your technician cracking it.
I spent hours on the phone that week between Progressive and the customer service line for Safelite. Needless to say, I got no results. In fact, even Safelite couldn't contact the manager of the mobile unit in Laredo. Progressive will do nothing about this since it's a contractor for them. Aside from filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about Safelite, I would expect the business to take responsibility for the damage. I have had the windshield repaired many times in the past with other shops and not once had any damage.

Desired outcome: I want the windshield replaced at no cost, since your technician attempted a repair in a location I never indicated, and only called me after he damaged the glass.
Lies and ignorance
The company who processes these claims for insurance companies attempts to lie to people. They claim there is a 750 dollar deductible for the glass. This is not correct for the state of Arizona.
This company has gotten many companies in trouble with the state of Arizona and I will be filing a complaint with the state insurance board regarding this last interaction.
Desired outcome: Put out of business in regards to processing auto insurance claims for glass.
Rescheduling/customer service issue
Idaho Falls, ID location: DO NOT I repeat do not give this company a minute of your time or a dime of your money, I scheduled on 8/22 to have my half broken windshield to be replaced 9/2 (fastest time) they call on 9/1 saying they need to reschedule and can't have it done until 9/20. Are you freaking kidding me 18 days later and a month with a half cracked windshield, absolutely 1,000% ridiculous they clearly had zero intentions replacing my windshield when that appointment was made and left me waiting around and driving an unsafe truck for 10 days with zero regards for safety. I contacted a lawyer for safety and we will reporting this to the BBB and anywhere else I can.
I wholeheartedly agree! They "started" my repair on August 1st. Here it is, 9-9-22 and 5 (yes 5) visits/appointments, and I still haven't got my windshield replaced. I have been unable to drive my car since Saturday, 8/2. The SOONEST appointment (they couldn't even schedule) if AFTER 9/14, because they have to "order" parts. This is BULL! I will never use them again, and I will give them a "0" review score.
Technician broke my windshield wiper and didn't tell me
I'm so DISAPPOINTED in my visit to Safelite today. From what I can tell my windshield replacement is just fine and this was my reason for coming. What I have an issue with is the technician broke my windshield wiper and didn't say anything. I couldn't call back up to the shop today August 27th because they closed at 6pm and I was finished at 5:50 pm. I discovered this on my ride home. I decided to use my wipers because a bird pooped on my windshield. To my surprise the left wiper was broken and flopping around. I know for a fact my wipers were both working when I arrived because it was raining. I'm pissed because the technician tried to be sneaky. I got a text message after I was already gone saying your windshield wiper is broken and you should get this fix ASAP. 😤 This was c after I discovered it broken. My issue is what if it was raining hard when I left my life would be in danger because the technician was a coward and didn't want to own up to his mistake. Even if he made me aware he made a mistake I would have been mad but I would have replaced the wiper blades eventhough I don't have the extra money to do so. I want Safelite to replace my wiper blades because it's bigger then the broken wiper blade because my life could be in jeporady. If no one reaches out to me soon I'm filling a complaint on BBB. Yes I have pictures of the broken wiper blade.
Desired outcome: I want my wiper blades replaced because it wasn't broken when I came in.
No work done; credit card billed

Sat for 6hrs, then was asked "can you come back tomorrow" replied NO and asked for my keys back. was given keys but no paperwork, checked my card website found that I had already been charged $1,278.21 asked for a refund KAYLA SIONS-LEWIS (Manager) stated that I have NOT been charged yet.
Forced to file a fraudulent charge on my card before I even left their office.
Watched Manager being dismissive to other customers.
Desired outcome: stop sending me e-mails and adds, basically never contact me again!
Destroyed my car

Had the rear window replaced on my 2004 Envoy on 7/22/2022 at my home with a service charge of $49.99, The next morning we noticed two screws missing and one loose on the mounting bracket, I called Safelite in Walker,La and was told to bring it in for repairs. I did this and the tech was able to reattach the bracket at the shop. The next thing we noticed was the window was crooked because the widow manufacturer glued it to the brackets unevenly, now the window rattles at every bump in the road.
Desired outcome: replace widow with one that is correctly mounted to the brackets and refund the charge for coming to my home
Broke camera sensor
They broke the camera sensor and told me to go to the dealer to fix it. They told me warranty would cover it and now they've gone AWOL. They are non responsive to emails or calls.
They first sent an agent to my house to replace the glass. The rep told me that he couldn't calibrate it. I went to the store to fix it and they couldn't either. The manager told me to go to the dealership and that's when I found out they bring the camera housing.
Didn’t bring rubber seal
Appointment was easy to make. Changed our schedule. Woman arrived on time. Had windshield but no rubber seal to hold it in place. Waste of half a day, stupid mistake you have ONE job replace windshields for goodness sakes bring the parts. Now we waste half another day waiting for them. Not a good experience. DID THEY OFFER TO DO IT FIRST THING IN THE MORNNG nope
Desired outcome: Have someone bring the part right away or go get it and come right back

My Safelite Autoglass windshield was warranty repaired/replaced yesterday, Saturday, 13 July 2022 at the 3201 Rosedale Avenue Richmond, Virginia.
The staff at the store were courtesy and responsive.
My repair was completed and I picked my vehicle up at 4:45pm. Just after leaving, I was driving down the highway and heard a rattling noise coming from the under the hood, near the bottom of the windshield. I pulled over into the emergency lane to check it.
It appears the passenger side of the windshield frame was not properly reattached, it is loose and rattling- and what appears to be a small tubing hose that connects to my windshield wipers fluid
is also loose and rattling. I checked my windshield wipers and they work, but the sprayer does not spray the fluid, which I expect is because the tubing hose was not re-connected.
I have tried to call the store, [protected] to discuss, or to leave a message. The number rings - and then stops. There is no opportunity to leave a message.
I went to your website and found this form to submit the problem. I have also attached pictures below

I filed a claim with my insurer, Farmers, for windshield replacement on 2015 Toyota Highlander. On July 28, 2022, I received email notice of appointment with local Safelite in Hattiesburg, MS for August 9, 2022 (today). I then received messages from Safelite to have car there before 9:30 AM. I actually took car there yesterday afternoon so they would have it first thing this morning. I received a call this morning from Jason, local Safelite Tech. He said my windshield will not be there until August 15th. This is unacceptable, 1) especially considering all the Safelite TV commercials boasting of the wonderful service, 2) considering Safelite has had 13 days to get a windshield to this local shop!
Someone is not doing their job in this process and the result is that Safelite is not nearly as professional as advertised on TV.
Very unacceptable and I will be filing a complaint with Farmers Insurance. I could have already gotten a windshield installed at two other local shops and WELL within the past 13 days!

Windshield replacement they didn’t put my inspection sticker on
August 6th safelite called reschedule my appointment for later in the day my glass arrived damaged so they came in the afternoon, but they did not put my inspection sticker back on! And they were closed before I noticed! They have no way to contact them with this issue until the next business day. The online website only allows you to reschedule warranty issues! This is a driving legally issue which I could get pulled over and my car towed or a fine!
Desired outcome: Immediately replace my inspection sticker and discount me 70 % of the bill for the liability issue they have caused
Payment
I called the 800 number to schedule an appointment in Williston Vermont on a Friday. Got a confirmation on Sunday and the appointment was in NY instead of Vt. Called Monday to reschedule and all the appointment were gone and I couldn't get in until the second week of the month had to get car inspected also and I had to wait because of the screw up on their end. Went to the shop after making another appointment when I got to the St albans shop the would not honor the 50 Dollar coupon off that safelite sent me to use. I called the 800 number explained what was going in the talked with the shop and said since they would honor the 50 dollars off the would give me new windshield wipers it came time to leave and the gentlemen wouldn't honor the wipers either. I put a review in the safelite page they told me to call so they can talk. 4 weeks ago i was suppose to get a refund of 50 dollars and they still have not sent anything. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER THE WOULDN'T HONOR ANYTHING THEY SAID OR DID. RIP OFF.

Replacement of lower hatch back glass on 2015 Prius
7/25/2022 2:00PM. When the technician arrived, I made a point of showing him the end seals for the glass which were inside the hatchback door on the respective sides of the vehicle so he could reinstall them. He finished his work and left. I needed to remove some items from the rear of the car. When I opened the hatchback, there was a trim retainer laying there as well as a bunch of the glass pieces from the broken glass. On inspection, I found that the left side trim did not fit as tight as the right side so I assumed that it came from that side. When I pulled the trim panel to install the retainer, I saw that he did not connect the right side wire for the glass heater. With the trim off, I also could see that he did not remove the tape he used to hold the glass in place when he installed it. I found that the molder rubber end seals were not installed and they were no where to be found. Apparently, he took them with him. Without those seals, water tracks horizontally along the glass to the end. With the seals, it is stopped from coming back into the car. Without the seals, water will collect in the hatch back interior of the car. I am very disappointed with Safelite Auto Glass service this time.
Desired outcome: I have scheduled a warranty appointment, but they could not tell me if the technician still has the seals or if they would be furnishing replacements.

I have a 2002 Honda Accord EX in immaculate condition I had Safelite per my insurance company to come to my home to fix my windshield they put a windshield in and 3 days later I have water in my car took it into the shop and they see it we're sorry we put the wrong windshield in they put another windshield in took it back again now they want me to go to Peoria Illinois to have a third windshield put in all of this happen at the Bloomington Illinois location now wh
