Dear Complaint Board Community,

I am writing this post with a heavy heart and a sense of urgency to bring attention to a deeply frustrating and unresolved issue I have been experiencing with Regus/IWG, a global corporation known for its flexible office space solutions.

On October 1, 2023, I requested the refund of my deposit from Regus/IWG, as my agreement had come to an end. According to their own policy, a deposit refund should be processed within 30 days of the agreement's end date or the request date, whichever is later. However, it has now been a full 30 days, and my refund is nowhere in sight.

The most troubling aspect of this ordeal is the lack of transparency and consistency in communication from Regus/IWG. I have received conflicting responses from their customer service and reception teams, which has only deepened my frustration.

In my most recent interaction with Regus/IWG's reception team, they promised that my refund would be processed and credited to my account by November 1, 2023. However, considering the numerous delays and inconsistencies I have encountered thus far, I have serious doubts about whether this commitment will be honored.

Failure to meet this commitment by November 1, 2023, would be an egregious breach of trust and could potentially be construed as financial malpractice. It is disheartening to think that a corporation as large and reputable as Regus/IWG would fail to uphold its financial obligations promptly and transparently.

I am using this platform to voice my concerns and frustration and to seek resolution to this matter. I kindly request an immediate and concrete solution to the issue of my deposit refund. My patience has been tested, and I believe it is only fair that I receive the refund that is rightfully mine without any further delay. I also request clear and consistent communication regarding the progress of this refund process.

Furthermore, I feel compelled to mention that if I do not receive the refund by the promised date, I will have no choice but to involve the Cambridge City Council and the Financial Fraud Department of the local police. In addition, I will reach out to the media, including the BBC, to expose this matter, as transparency and accountability are essential in such cases.

I hope that by sharing my experience here, I can bring attention to this issue and prompt Regus/IWG to take immediate and appropriate action. No customer should have to endure such frustration and uncertainty when dealing with a reputable corporation.

I share your frustration and find myself in a similar situation in Singapore. All of the points you have stated so well apply to me so I won't repeat it other than to say my lease ended 31 August and I still have yet to receive my retainer back. I have been told on multiple occasions beginning 23 September through all of October that my refund was processed and in the nearest payment run. However it still hasn't arrived. I am also looking into registering it with the relevant agencies in Singapore. I would be happy to share my experience offline as well.
