Office Chair @ Work Stay away from these fraudsters!!

There isn't a 0 star, otherwise would give them only that. This company is a total fraud. You will not get your chair at least for a month. When you get it, it will be broken. Talk to them to return it, and they will ask you to send photos as evidence. They take their own time in acknowledging your return merchandise. The issue is they don't seem to issue any refund though they send a PayPal screenshot that they had issued a refund. The catch is one can't dispute this transaction via the credit card company if the transaction is more than 45-60 days old. So you just lost all your money without receiving anything in return or with a product that is useless.

This company should be banned and the ownsers should be put behind bars for their fraudulent practices.

Recommendation: Stay away from this fraudulent company!!

Office Chair @ Work Terrible Customer Service and Warranty Restrictions: A Review of [Company Name]

This company was a real pain to deal with, let me tell you. We ordered a Steelcase office chair from them, but when it arrived, it was missing a key part and another part was broken. What a mess! And even though they advertise free return shipping on their website, they tried to stick us with the cost of returning the chair so we could get a refund. Can you believe that?

To make matters worse, their customer service was a joke. You couldn't even talk to a real person on the phone, and the emails we got from their agents were downright rude and disrespectful. It was like they didn't care at all about our problem.

If you're thinking about ordering from this company, do yourself a favor and read ALL of the fine print in their warranty. It's super restrictive and makes it almost impossible to get a full refund. And don't forget to check out their Better Business Bureau and TrustPilot ratings before you make a decision. I wish we had done that before we ordered from them. Their poor ratings would have been a big red flag for us.

Overall, I would definitely NOT recommend this seller. They're just not worth the hassle.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Office Chair @ Work, a company that specializes in refurbished office chairs. I decided to purchase a chair from them as I was hoping to find a quality chair that would be both comfortable and stylish, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations.

I ended up spending a significant amount of money on the chair, but after only four weeks of use, the seat began to fall apart. I contacted their customer service team, and they promised to send me a new seat. However, I waited for two weeks and heard nothing, so I reached out to them for an update. They informed me that it would be another two weeks before they could send me the replacement part.

As the delay began to drag on and on, I became increasingly frustrated. After three months of waiting and several rounds of back-and-forth with their customer service team, FedEx still had not received the replacement part. Eventually, I gave up on the idea of receiving the new seat altogether and requested a refund.

Initially, they promised to give me a full refund with no restocking fees. Unfortunately, I was asked to pay for the shipping costs ($400) for returning the chair. I diligently followed up with my shipping provider, UPS, to ensure that the chair was delivered safely and accurately. According to UPS, the chair was delivered back to the company, but when I attempted to communicate with them to confirm receipt and request a refund, they blocked my email address.

I cannot stress enough how frustrating this experience has been. Office Chair @ Work promises quality and service, but their product clearly did not live up to my expectations. I have since purchased a "real" Herman Miller Aeron chair, and I can confidently say that the materials used in the refurbishing process are significantly inferior to those used in a truly high-quality chair.

It is painfully obvious that this company is nothing more than a scam, and I strongly recommend that you do not purchase anything from them. If you're searching for a legitimate business that will deliver the quality products and customer service you deserve, look elsewhere and avoid Office Chair @ Work.

I recently purchased the Steelcase Amia office chair with a headrest from Office Chair @ Work, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed with my experience. After reading online reviews about the chair being sturdy and upright, I decided to give it a try. However, it took almost a month for the chair to arrive, which was the first red flag.

When I finally received the chair, I noticed that it wouldn't sit upright and the headrest only rested my head if I was looking at the ceiling. Additionally, everything on the chair felt loose and janky. I knew I had to return it, so I contacted the company and they were pretty responsive. They even offered me a discount on another chair as soon as they received the defective one back. However, I politely declined and requested a refund instead.

The company informed me that my refund would be processed once they received the chair back, and I should expect to see the refund in 7-14 days. I waited patiently, but I never received any further communication from them. I started scouring my email and found a refund transaction through PayPal, but it failed, and I was instructed to contact the vendor. I emailed both returns and support, but I received no response for a week.

Frustrated with the lack of communication, I decided to dispute the payment on my Amex card. To my surprise, my claim was approved, which made me realize that I wasn't the only one who had issues with this merchant. Needless to say, I won't be doing business with them again.

Office Chair @ Work Damaged Refurbished Chair: Disappointing Experience with Office Chair @ Work

When I think about my experience with Office Chair @ Work, it was definitely not a positive one. When I initially received my chair, I noticed that it was quite damaged. There were visible scratches on both the base and the cover of the mechanism and the cylinder seemed to stick out quite noticeably. I immediately reached out to the vendor to inform them of the problem and I was shocked by their response. Instead of offering to help me get a replacement chair or even filing a claim with FedEx on my behalf, they essentially threw all of the work back on me.

I was disappointed that I had to take on the responsibility of figuring out how to send the chair back and paying for the shipping costs myself. Given the damage, the chair was completely unusable and it was also frustrating to see it scratch up the hardwood floor when I took it out of the box to inspect it. After considering my options, I ended up accepting the offer from the vendor for replacement parts.

Unfortunately, this solution also came with its own set of challenges. When I received the new base and cylinder, there were no instructions included on how to remove the old parts and install the new ones. My husband and I tried to figure it out on our own, but we weren't successful in loosening the cylinder. This was especially difficult since my husband is older and has had multiple back surgeries. We watched multiple YouTube videos to try and troubleshoot, but we had no luck.

One of the biggest frustrations with this entire experience was that the chair was actually refurbished, which is something that wasn't evident on the website. Because of this, we found out that the cylinder was basically frozen, with no way of dislodging it. We feel that the responsible thing for the company to have done was to file a claim with FedEx to get their money back and then send us a new, functioning chair.

Overall, I'm incredibly disappointed in my experience with Office Chair @ Work and I'm planning on escalating the issue with PayPal. I would definitely not order from them again and would caution others to do their research and make sure they're getting a brand new chair if they do decide to order from them.

Office Chair @ Work provides a wide range of seating solutions to cater to the needs of professionals out there. I was looking for comfortable and ergonomic office chairs and ended up ordering two Henry Miller chairs from them. The ordering process was straightforward, and my credit card was charged immediately. However, I noticed that their terms of service were buried under a link titled "Terms of Service," where it stated that the chairs could take up to 14 days "to process" after the credit card charge.

When I reached out to their customer service team, they clarified that it's 14 business days, which is a bit longer than what I anticipated. Nonetheless, I waited patiently for the chairs to arrive. The first chair was shipped within the 14 business days, but I am still waiting for the second chair to be delivered, and it is AFTER the 14th business day.

The only way to get assistance is through email as calling the number on their site directs you to email. They have one individual, Evelyn, who is the only one that replies to support requests. While she responded to my queries in a timely manner initially, I have yet to see my second chair shipped, and there is nothing but silence on their end.

It's frustrating, and my only recourse is to post a negative review and dispute the charge for the second chair. I also noticed an interesting fact when I checked their Yelp ratings, which is 1.5, while on their site, it's listed as 4.8. It seems they are filtering negative reviews and are not being transparent on all feedback regarding their business. Sadly, there is no way to post a review directly on their site.

In conclusion, I appreciate the quality of their products, but their delivery timelines and customer service could do better. The lack of transparency and unresponsiveness from their support team has left me feeling disappointed.

Office Chair @ Work Worst online shopping experience - Avoid [protected]@Work

I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering a chair from [protected]@Work, and I have to say, it was one of the worst online shopping experiences I've had to date. First off, it took nearly a month for my chair to arrive, which is ridiculous considering they claim to only need 14 business days to process the order. As if the delay wasn't bad enough, when the chair finally did arrive, it wasn't even the one I had ordered! Instead of the "titanium base" chair that was depicted on their website, I received a shoddily painted black plastic chair. To make matters worse, the fabric color was also incorrect.

When I reached out to their so-called "customer care team" for assistance, they responded in a shockingly unprofessional manner, with one representative even saying "LOL, we're not sending you anything" when I requested a replacement for the wrong chair that I had received. What's more, after reading through their return policy, I discovered that they charge a 35% restocking fee - even for items that were incorrectly sent! - and they have been known to refuse refunds for credit card fees and other transaction costs.

At this point, I'm stuck with an inferior chair that I never even wanted in the first place, and it cost me nearly $350. I would never recommend anyone to shop at [protected]@Work, and I strongly urge others to learn from my mistakes and look elsewhere for their office furniture needs. It's clear from reading other reviews that I'm not the only customer who has had problems with this retailer, so I truly hope that they take responsibility for their errors and make things right with their customers.

I recently purchased the Leap V2 chair from Office Chair @ Work and boy was I disappointed. The quality was just plain awful. The wheels were caked with dust and bugs, the leather was scratched all over, and the height adjustment was not working at all. I was so upset that I took pictures of all the issues and requested a return. I mean, they do have a 30-day money-back guarantee, right?

But instead of apologizing and accepting the return, they accused me of not assembling the chair properly. Can you believe that? And the way they said it was so passive-aggressive, it really rubbed me the wrong way. Luckily, I was able to request a return through PayPal and they helped me out. But then, things got even crazier.

I received an email from the company threatening to SWAT my house! Can you imagine? They even attached a picture of the email, which I've included here. The email said that if I didn't stop trying to return the chair, they would call the police and have my house raided in front of my neighbors, friends, family, and coworkers. They even said I could face up to 10 years in prison! Who sends an email like that? And they signed it "legal" and used an AOL email address. It's like they're not even trying to be professional.

Honestly, I'm just glad that I was able to get the chair picked up by UPS and sent back to them. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't get swatted or anything like that. It's really scary to think that a company could act like this and get away with it. I wouldn't recommend Office Chair @ Work to anyone, unless you want to risk your safety and sanity.

When I decided to invest in an office chair for my work space, I came across Office Chair @ Work, a website that seemed to have a variety of modern and stylish chairs that would look great in my home office. I ultimately chose the Aaron chair and placed my order, excited for my new purchase to arrive.

However, I was disappointed to find that my chair did not arrive for a whole month. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact Office Chair @ Work via phone, I was unable to reach anyone as the phone simply went straight to voicemail. It wasn't until I sent them a few emails that they finally sent my chair.

As I excitedly unboxed my new chair, I hoped that it would be as comfortable as it looked online. Unfortunately, after sitting in it for a while, I found that it just wasn't the right fit for me and I decided to return it.

This is where things got a bit tricky. Even though I had followed all of the return instructions and sent the chair back in its original condition, I was only refunded half of the amount I had paid for the chair. I was left feeling frustrated, out of money and without a good chair for my workspace.

While I do appreciate the selection of chairs available on Office Chair @ Work, I do wish that their customer service and return policies were more transparent and straightforward. It's difficult to trust a company that doesn't respond to phone calls and takes such a large cut from a return.

I recently purchased an Office Chair from the website OfficeChairatwork.com. At that point, I asked if I could cancel my order. While the company has a money-back policy in place, the representative informed me that I would only receive 90% of my money back due to their policy. Office Chair @ Work Office Chair @ Work Review: A Shady Business You Need to Avoid

Oh boy, let me tell you about my experience with Office Chair @ Work (officechairatwork.com). I was excited to find this website, which boasts about shopping with "confidence" and offers free returns within 30 days. However, what happened next completely shattered any confidence I had in this company.

After placing an order for a chair, I waited with bated breath for any updates on when it would arrive. But, to my dismay, I received no communication at all about the shipping process. Two weeks went by and I decided to cancel my order. I mean, who wants to wait around for something with no end in sight, right?

Well, imagine my surprise when the chair showed up at my doorstep, a good 10 days after I had cancelled the order. At this point, I had had enough and immediately contacted customer service for a return label and refund. But, guess what? They told me that my order had not been cancelled and that I would have to pay for shipping and a 35% restocking fee for returning the chair.

Talk about a scam! I can't believe this company would treat their customers this way. My advice to you all is to stay far, far away from this website. Don't waste your time and money dealing with their shady business practices. Do yourselves a favor and order from a reputable manufacturer instead.

Office Chair @ Work Disappointing Experience with Office Chair @ Work: Unpleasant Communication and Delayed Delivery

I recently purchased an office chair from Office Chair @ Work and had a less than desirable experience. After waiting for over two weeks to receive my order, I decided to reach out to the company to check on the status of my purchase. Unfortunately, my experience was not smooth sailing from this point on.

Upon calling the company, I was directed to their email address to receive further assistance. Despite sending them an email and leaving a message, I did not receive any follow up. It wasn't until I contacted them again that I received a response at 3 am, stating that my order would take an additional 30-45 days to process and 14 days for delivery. This information was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase.

To make matters worse, the communication with the company was incredibly unpleasant as they were unapologetic and made sarcastic remarks. They defended their delays by suggesting I should be more understanding during the COVID pandemic while also boasting about their non-basement work environment. It wasn't the greatest first impression, especially considering the considerable amount I had spent on my purchase.

Moreover, the company's refusal to inform me of the status of my order made me even more frustrated, and I was then told I would have to wait for seven days for the refund. Although Office Chair @ Work offers drop shipment services, my experience has left me with no desire to recommend them. Save yourself from similar trouble and browse around for a more reliable company.
