Red Roof Inn smell of the room and that I got charged for it

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn on August 23 2018. The hotel was on Wilde road Pensacola Florida. We arrived at 4:30 pm after spending 12 hours on the road. The receptions was very nice and check in was very quick. However when we went to our rooms the one room smelled like wet dog and smoke. I went to talk to the receptionist and was told that there were no more rooms available. So we decided to just deal with it since we were so tired. Checked out the next morning and after arriving home 8 hours later my daughter in law received a call from the manager (TJ) that here room smelled like smoke so he was charging us another 250.00. This was the same roomed that we had complained about when we check in. It took over a week to get back in touch with TJ because it seems that he either doesn't work a lot or he doesn't want to talk to customers that he has cheated out of money. I will never stay at another Red Roof Inn and I will make sure to spread the word about your dishonest pratices.

I just had an incident like that happen at a Red Roof Inn in Kentucky. Only I got no notification from a manager that they were charging me it just showed up on my bill one day. Since then I filed a complaint with Red Roof Inn corporate headquarters the Better Business Bureau and dispute of the charges with my bank I've also been leaving negative reviews on every travel website that I can find

Red Roof Inn double charge in one of the hotels.

Hello,

My name is Sergio Armendariz. On August 17 I stayed at the Red Roof Inn Tucson North Marana located at 4940 West Ina Road, Tucson, AZ 85743 Checked inn around 11:00 PM

The person in the front desk was very rude and didn't know how to check us in. I paid the night and he said the system was not working and it took him over half an hour to give us the keys but not after he made me pay the room again because according to him the payment did't go thru. People that arrived after us had to leave because this person treat them very bad and didn't explain what was happening. Now my bank is charging me the room twice and the hotel hasn't answered my emails.

Can you please help?

Mr. Patel,
My husband and I checked in arpund 2am this morning at Red Rood Inn in Macon, GA. We were not pleased with our stay at ALL. Here is what happened.

1. Originally in room 602. We discovered the following : BLOOD on the sheets(highly unsanitary and disgusting) the TV not working, and hair/dirt on bathroom floor and shower. ALSO, the A/C was not on and it took almost 45 minutes to get the room cold( it was extremely HOT in there)

2. We change rooms to 600 its now almost 3am and this room also didn't have the A/C on and took almost an hour to cool this room. It was very unpleasant and we were exhausted but could not sleep due to how hot the room was. The TV also did not work in this room either so we ended up just laying there. waiting for it to get cool. Again, the bathroom had hairs and the counter was dirty. The floor in the bedroom also made our feet black due to the floor not being cleaned.

We were appalled and dissatisfied and disappointed in the cleanliness and quality of these rooms especially when we are paying for a room we were in less than 8 hours.

Red Roof Inn room 215 at the detroit/madison heights red roof inn

My wife and I stayed at the above establishment 8/17-19/2018. I have stayed at Red Roof Inns before (we have a very nice one here in Coldwater, MI) and they have always been a good value in the past; so much so, that my stepdaughter, her fiancee and their two young children decided to stay at the same location since we were all in the Detroit area for a convention. One of the cleaning crew was kind enough to get us a couple of extra pillows for our stay, even if one did appear to have a cigarette burn in it.

Aside from there being no elevator the building was nice and our room seemed nice and clean with all the amenities, although there was no way to have both the mini-fridge and microwave plugged into the same outlet at the same time due to the plugs being too big for both. My wife then tried to get onto the internet but was never able to connect with her laptop but she was able to connect with her phone.

The problems came on the next day-the stopper for the bathtub did not come open part-way, it came out all the way and was the only way for the tub to drain properly. We left for the day and when we returned we found the following: the trashcan was still full, the bed had not been changed nor even made, the coffee maker had not been replenished and the floor needed either a sweeping or a mopping. There also was no "Do Not Disturb" sign but fortunately the room next door had two on their handle so we borrowed one.

Needless to say this was the most disappointing stay I have ever had at a Red Roof and I am also sending a hard copy of this message to corporate in Ohio. My stepdaughter had her own list of complaints and will probably be sending you a similar message separately.

Red Roof Inn management, upkeep maintenance

We reserved a room for sat august 4, 2018, when we arrived and checked in the door would not work you were able to open the door without a keycard when we complained the manager said it's ok we have security cameras in the hall! we were not willing to leave our things in the room if the door didn't lock and in no way would we sleep without a door that wouldn't lock. We were givin a new room but there were issues first of all i am 100% disabled with my legs and back so i can't climb stairs the mamager stated thats all i got so i got upstairs with lots of help, we freshened up and turned the air conditioning because the room was very hot, after cleaning up we left our room to go to the state fair, when we returned the room was very hot again the manager said thats all we got, the vent in the bathroom didn't work either, it was a miserable night we brought our fan so that at least that curculated the air a little, there was no handicap parking and the wheelchair ramp was blocked. I understand things happen but this was unexceptable, and the front desk employees were very rude at first they said i couldn't leave my wheelchair in the lobby we folded it up and put it out of the way, i have never complained about a hotel but this was unbelievable. I do hope things get resolved.

Red Roof Inn air conditioner was moldy and toilet and shower as well..

I am a resident of Springfield Ma.. stayed at wilkes Barre Pa with my Three children for a family function stayed a night, and will never stay here again. I'm usually not the one to complain but the room we stayed in was musty smelling and the room was not cleaned good at all.. moldy bathroom air condition and the beds were not made properly the comforter was dirty and the bed skirt as well.. my mother and sister stayed in one of the rooms and the celling in there room was chipping.. it's disappointing that the employees who work for the company are letting it go to [censored]...

Red Roof Inn maintenance on jacuzzi

I was getting out of the Jacuzzi at the front face where the sign is suppose to be sturdy and not slip but it had came off the tub and I stepped on it and slipped onto the floor and injured my right knee. I had to call the front desk to get help up and she came but she didn't help me get my clothes to the bed where she helped me move to and she didn't ask if I needed anything

Red Roof Inn on august 11 I watched the night audit steal

I was waiting on the night audit so I could get some fresh towels but instead I'm watching her stuffing an envelope down her pants.When I asked for towels she caught an attitude and told me they don't have any and she's to busy.For a worker to just steal is very unprofessional.I asked to speak with a manager she said he was out of town.I wrote a note for him to call because of me seen his employee stealing

Red Roof Inn money taken off my credit card 3 days after I left hotel without authorizing them to do so

I stayed at red roof in round rock tx for about 3 month's during this time nobody ever cleaned my rm changed the bed linen I asked for clean towel n linen I changed my own bed moped n cleaned my own rm took out my trash. I checked out Mon Aug. 6 out clean sheets pillow cases cleaned rm better than was when I checked in. On thurs Aug 9 I co my credit card n red roof took off 60.00 with out permission I called asked speak to my they where not there to to the hotel n talked with front desk was told I suppose to stole 2 dirty pillows n the window had a crack which was there when I moved into rm n only a [censored] couldnt see the old water stain in the glass. I am 58 yr 8 old lady I was only in my rm to sleep . I got off work at 10 Don't party I wrote them a whole letter still nothing from my . will never stay again n calling better business on them also for stealing my money without permission over dirty pillows. I should get pd 3 months of cleaning detail for doing every thing housekeeping got pd to do n didn't. Don't stay there the 3rd floor smells so bad of weed that people smoke the stair well had piles of dog shot there for 3 days people stepping in it. I found a needle outside by my car told front desk about all this n they didn't do a thing about it.

Red Roof Inn service/space

We stayed at the red roof inn in orange park, fl the weekend of July 27. We had booked for 2 nights but only stayed one and asked for our money back for the second night. Check in was after 3 we arrive at 330 and are told to come bk in an hr. We do, I'm told at ck in that there are no towels in the room someone will bring them up shortly if no 1 does, call the front desk and she'd bring them up immediately. We run up to our room and crash immediately. Wake up an hr later, there's been no towel delivery. I call the front desk clerk who is immediately irriated and tell me they'll let housekeeping know. 2 min later front desk calls bk and says, housekeeping delivered towels. I said no we haven't left the room, no 1 has came. Fast forward 5 min, the front desk clerk is at our door with the housekeeper. No good evening, no anything just points at me, looks at the housekeeper and says, is that her? He shrugs. She looks at me and says he said he gave u towels. I said no 1 has been here. So invite them in to take a look. Of course, the stupid towels were in there as he'd delivered them as we walked up from ck in. I hadn't even looked becAuse i was led to believe it'd b sometime before any1 cld bring them up. She went on to say they had a strick 2 towel per day, per room policy. Fine but man it felt like we were being called out over 2 stupid towels. Poor customer service. I apologized (which she accepted and did not apologize to me for any confusion). I let it go.
Meanwhile if u look outside, u legit see people pulling up to lower rooms where someone quickly comes out of a room, they exchange something through the car window and run bk inside and it happens repeatedly. Obvious drug deals.

Day 2 we r letting our dog potty, away from pavement by a tree off in the cut. I said a few feet away (poop bg in hand) while my husband allows him (leashed mind u) to finish. Just as he wraps up i hear someone yell, u better clean that [censored] up (yes actually says [censored]). My husband says, excuse me what did u say? The guy says, i said u better clean that [censored] up. I said hey man, I'm standing here poop bag in hand. I'm getting it now. My hubs asked why is it any of his business, who is he. He replied, I'm the guy that's gta clean it up if u don't, i work here. My husband told him he cld watch a bit before he jumps to conclusions and also he doesn't have to b an [censored] about it period. The guy bows his chest up and walks away.

We drove around a bit and decided to come bk and ask for our money bk for night 2. We r refunded but told there is manager to speak with. I've called 2x and he's never"available."

Do not stay at red roof inn orange park. Rude workers who apparently take things personally and know nothing about customer service, not to mention the uncertainty and danger of being around drug deals.

Red Roof Inn service

8/7/18 - I placed a reservation at the Red Roof Galveston Beachfront location in May for an August arrival. Upon arrival (Sun 8/5/18 at 5PM) I had to wait in line for 45-60 min only to find out our room was not yet clean/available. We returned at 7PM and finally got into our room about 7:30PM. We had 4 in our resv but only 3 towels, the toilet tissue was not refreshed nor were there any facial tissues in the room. I was able to get additional towels and tissue from the cleaning staff the 1st day. For subsequent days, I had to go to the front desk for an extra towel.

The pool has been closed several times due to the forecast of rain. Rain in Galveston is frequent. There is no lightning protocol being followed but the local weather "forecast" is used to close the pool. At the time I went to the front desk there was no manager available to discuss the situation with. Further there is no franchise information posted for consumers for me to locate contact information. When I requested the Corporate phone number, the staff had to look on-line to find a number. I was provided [protected] which I found out is a call center for Red Roof reservations, not customer service. When I called, the reservationist provided [protected] as the customer service number.

My wife and I travel all over the world and just returned from Maui. Our hotel during the Hawaii trip had our reservation information and room keys readily available. They had obviously been prepared ahead of our arrival. My check-in took less than 5 minutes. They spent another 5 minutes giving us an orientation of the hotel and its amenities. Our trip to Galveston was to share some of our travel experiences with 2 of our younger grandkids. I used to stay at Red Roof during my business travel to the SEATAC area back in the 80's. So I felt comfortable with the accommodations at Red Roof. However, the hotel in Galveston is not representative of what I believe Red Roof wishes to portray to the public. It appears my observations are not unique. You might look on Travel Advisor for other reviews. Although this franchise is across the street from the beach, this time of year, a lot of children and young people prefer the pool. Although, I recognize safety is the predominate concern, weather forecast should not the method by which pool closures are determined.

Overview: The staff, although friendly, may not be sufficiently trained or have the resources needed to handle customer issues. Pool closures should be based on actual sightings, and lightning detectors, not weather forecasts that may not be current. In rooms that feature multiple beds, an odd number (3) of towels does not make sense.

Red Roof Inn room

We are avid, long distance, motorcycle riders. With that being said, we have stayed at thousands of motels over the past fifty something, years. On the 24th of July, we checked into the motel listed above. The room was filthy. The tile looked as if it had never been cleaned. The bathtub was so dirty, we did not take a shower. Several lights were either broken or the bulbs were blown. We asked to see the room, prior to renting. The owner gave us a card, but didn't tell us how to use it. It was the first time we had seen a card that you wave in front of the door handle area. All of the curtains were wide open so you could look inside. I believe he didn't tell us because he didn't want us to see the room's condition. This was the first time I did not leave a tip, usually ten dollars. We are beginning to look at other motels, instead of Red Roof. So very disappointed.

Red Roof Inn my room

I checked into my room Saturday with my boyfriend because he is from Marion County and I have roommates at my apartment so we always get a room there or out Hurstbourne. When we got the room we left and went out as we came in we were deciding to get into the bed when I rode the bed back I screamed out loud because I thought he was playing a prank but he was already getting into the shower and had no idea what was going on. There was blood on the bed on top of the bed sheets smeared and on the side I took multiple pictures and called the young lady to come to the room she could not come upstairs so I walk down the steps to her. I was very polite never rude never yelled on top of I was told they did not know when they could give my money back because they had no cash but I paid in cash

Red Roof Inn racial profiling

ed Roof Inn motels is our facility of choice, when travelling with our pet. The rooms have always been clean, the staff pleasant and accommodating, even charming, shout outs to Tinton Falls, NJ.
This was our 1st time booking at the Williamsport, MD motel, July 21, 2018.

Our reservation was made online for a weekend getaway in western Maryland, over 100 miles from home, for a Queen Size bed. We paid in advance of viewing the actual room .
Upon arrival, the bed was not as pictured. It was a smaller, full size bed. I explained to the receptionist, this is not what I ordered online. Her suggestion was to pay an additional price for a larger bed. I refused.
The receptionist called the onsite manager who arrived in the lobby, screaming and yelling I was not staying, he was kicking us out. I then asked for his name and informed, I was calling the corporate office. He refused to give his name, telling me if I called corporate, he was calling the police. I encouraged that he do that.
The manager made a false 911 call stating, I was making threats and needed to be removed.
I immediately called the corporate office, the customer service department explained there was nothing they could do until the next business day, two days later.
The Washington County police arrived, spoke to the manager, who is of East Indian heritage, lied, telling the officer I was screaming and making threats. I told the office that was not true, also, I recorded my interactions with the staff, before he arrived. The officer explained to me there was nothing he could do, and suggested I called the corporate office.
I did contact the corporate office, who took my complaint, informed me if I sought legal counsel, they were not willing to help resolve my concern. Nor was the customer service agent willing to provide the name of the manager, or the owner .

We are a mature, interracial couple. I am certain we were racially profiled by the onsite manager and were dismissed by the Red Roof corporate office, who explained, the facility is franchised, which I felt was an excuse to dismiss their liability, as well my complaint as a consumer / guest .

Red Roof Inn room when staying i. el paso west

While driving from LA to a Texas I decided to stay at the red roof inn in El Paso because in the past they have had amazing service, when I got to this one there was a line of 5 people and 1 person who looked bored handling them, I
Go and get my room which is the very last room of the third floor and get told as I am walking away, the elevator doesn't work, so I ask for a room Lowe and get told they are full booked, so I go and get my stuff and head up the stairs, there I find an old couple slowly dragging here luggage up the stairs and offer to help, this was because the man sitting st the desk was " to busy" with no one even there,

When I got to my room I freaked, the walls were dirty toilet was not cleaned and had piss on it the shower couldn't hold pressure and the room smelt of mold. I went back down to ask about it and told there was no cleaner there and then I asked if I could just refund the room to go somewhere else
And was told no... being short on cash I stayed there and left early in the morning. I slept in pants and a sweater because even the top layer of needing had black spots on it. I made sure to take pictures of the room showing some really nasty floor walls and restroom and even a spot on the wall covered with some kind of red sticky stuff

Red Roof Inn dirty rooms w not towels

I stayed in your Tucson Location near the airport last night. It was the worst hotel stay I have ever had in 58 years. We checked in . Got our keys, went to our room only to find the floor was dirty( leaves, dust and even a deodorant cap still on the floor ) . We had no shower curtain or towels in the bathroom. When we called the front desk they said someone would bring it right over, Maid knocked on the door. I answered it. She handed me the shower curtain for me to put it up. Then told me sorry we don't have towels. OMG how the hell am I suppose to shower? I just got off a hard days work. All I wanted was a shower...and forget about a swim in the pool cause not only was it covered in palm leaves, but the water was green. Upon going to bed I pulled down the bedspread..the sheets had not been changed. Nasty Nasty Nasty! I choose this location because was near to my jobsite. NEVER AGAIN! People don't waste your money staying here, I would have to say it is a one star hotel. It is time to get the department of Health to look into this .

Red Roof Inn the room

We booked a king room we got in there and the room smelled bad. (Cortland NY) I opened up the sheets and there was a huge pair of men's DIRTY underwear in our bedding! The smell was disgusting. We went down to talk to someone and the handed us new sheets. They never offered us another room or offered us money off of our bill. I cleaned the entire room because it was not done. I tried talking to the maid but she didn't understand me! The guy said "yeah she doesn't speak English" then walked away. I asked for a new sheet on our third day there and she kept giving me the wrong sheet so I showed her with my hands that I needed a big sheet then took her and showed her the bed size. Needless to say 30 minutes later we got a sheet.

Red Roof Inn customer service/ and facility

Upon arrival at Red Roof Inn #401 in Hershey PA. The front desk agen was busy swimming and unable to check me in for a period of time, when he finally did, he was barefoot and frustrated I interupted his little swim. He did not greet me, but told me I had "no reservation". After showing him the confirmation number he again stated I had none. Im not sure how but after I asked if he had a room, and if not I would gladly go somewhere else, he came up with a room. He was rude Nd disrespectful.
Upon entry into my room, I found, blood splatter on the walls, room needing major maintenance, dead bugs in light fixtures, and BLACK MOLD atop the shower, that was attempted to be painted over. Later we called for towels and were denied, and told if we wanted them we would have to come get them.
Red Roof Inn has ignored all my calls today, disconnected my call once, not returning it, than just plain not answering the last attempt.
I have pictures of all issues, and will be forwarding them to multiple media and Health Department personel.
I am disgusted

Red Roof Inn unethical hotel management and staff that have been stealing, unauthorized credit card transactions, unsafe environment

Dear Red Roof, redicard, guest relations, and corporate headquarters, Im Ron MacIntosh and I have
Redi card # [protected] .. We have had been staying at this red roof location since November of 2017.. we have been paying a specific rate from February until we were given less than 12 hours notice that our rate would be completely different to around 3 times the rate...(and we are considered residents..and that they could charge us pretty much anything they wanted..we are also tax exempt since we have been at the same location consecutively for more than 90 days. We have been unethically and very poorly treated in the past few months and have not gotten anywhere with the front desk or management, who has done nothing but be DEMEANING to us and Rude to us..we were told yesterday morning by one specific overnight front desk staff though, when I paid for Saturday to Sunday, before leaving to try and get any money together I could for the weekend cause I'm gonna need it, after I was charged $124.00, not given a receipt or even emailed one, to call redicard services and let you know what we have been dealing with, what we have spent at red roof, what we are BEING put through daily AND continuously getting worse by the day..AND to call or email redicard and guest relations to require and demand a refund AND a free night against our account asap, and also to get all of the points that we have been missing for months (approx 35, 113 points) that we could have used for free nights before we check out of here for good on August 8th...even though that's not legally when we have to check out..BECAUSE the letters are null and void since the owner had No knowledge of it..plus we are "residents"..and we can claim residency for 10 days for No cost at all..just for being lied to so much! Because no-one can seem to help me or us..or my family..and every time my wife has a chance to call..she's on hold forever, or the staff gives her bad news after hours, and it's too late because no-one is there. She gets so upset and worried..and to make things worse..No one knows what the other is ever doing around this motel, everyone also always has a different story for every question asked and they Purposely hold back on our check in check out dates so we DONT get our points. That we work out tails, arms legs, and dignity off for apparently! We have a ton of things to also share with guest relations that we have been trying to resolve with maintenance and management, but not one single thing AT ALL has been fixed or addressed (BECAUSE the maintenance man is not allowed in our room!), And I guess because we are now just being treated as complete intruders by all of the staff and especially by management... I've never ever seen anything like whats going on here after being loyal to this hotel/ motel since even before November of 2016. We were supposed to move into a new home on July 15th but on July 6 we found out that all of the money we have them was going to be lost and the realtor backed out and we lost it..after waiting 7 months for this home we even had the keys for, we had to hurry and find a rental that of course we need to hand out another $3000.00 for, mind you I didnt mention that my wife has a terminal illness and I have a disabled son and a service dog.. so if i can't get the free nights im owed, plus the points that ive been missing..ive got every receipt since November. We have been robbed by an employee who no longer works here because she is in jail for being picked up on having severe illicit drugs on her and we were accused of not paying..so once they found out we did pay in full..we never got an apology or any kind of compensation..we have to beg for toilet paper and towels, and because we have a service dog, we dont have housekeeping come in because they claim his size scares them...i have pictures of everything that can back up what's happened to my family... Including last week when the police banged on our door on Sunday evening claiming that my wife(who can barely walk by the way and we are up on the 2nd floor) allegedly put her hands on him the morning prior to that!..So they pulled her out of the room in front of my disabled son, and got her statement and knew immediately that he was playing a game because he was in the parking lot below us while they were talking to her just heckling and laughing..they apologized profusely...but every other staff member pretended not to know a single thing and played dumb. We have been excellent residents. Bent over backwards for anyone who needed a hand here whether it was a guest or staff..but it doesn't change that we are" VALUED GUESTS " in great standing with red roof.. there has to be something that can be done with points, complimentary stays after spending more than $16, 000 at this location alone..and it has to be done fast..because someone keeps cancelling any reservations we make so we dont get put out with a child and a service dog whike my wife and son are there alone..and I was told that redicard services was going to be the only way we could get help. We have new house thst We have to rent emergency that will cost us another $3000 but we it won't be ready until August 20th at the latest..and we have nowhere to go in the meantime dragging my wife and son and dog from another slummy hotel to hotel. We can send any pics needed..includingbthe ceiling that looks like it's about to fall down from holding tons of water and its above my sons bed..mold in the bathroom, threats my guests staff etc..there is no other room for us to move to..becsuse we were told once we leave this room, we haventonleave the property. Please, email me or my wife..her email is [protected]@gmail.com...but if its possible could you forward this to guest relations and I will write them with further more severe and extremely dangerous threatening information with pictures and all the proof they want. But under any circumstances can this email be shared with this property..since have all the proof I need. I just need corporate redicard and guest relations in my corner becsuse there is a plethora of illegal activity going on and they will just purposely make it as uncomfortable and awkward as possible for my wife and son..and believe me..it took all Bihar in me to get the courage to send even this...we are in a corner..and need help! Welllll...NOONE KNOCKED, BANGED, TAPPED ON ANY WINDOW..AND NOONE TRIED TO OPEN THE TRUCK DOOR! BEEECAAUUSSEEE...SHE WAS ACTUALLY EMAILING A LANDLORD, TEXTING ME(ITS TIME STAMPED), AND...SHE WAS WRITING INFO DOWN ABOUT PICTURES OF THE HOTELS FALLING CEILING IN OUR ROOM AND TALKING TO AN ACTUAL EMPLOYEE OF THE RED ROOF WE ARE IN AT MT LAUREL NJ! Ok..we can't move into the house that we had our deposit for to give last Monday, because we went from paying $59.39/nite since December actually..at times less...at times more if we accidentally booked thru a diff way..but we have consistently been a redicard member since then, but thousands and thousands of our points disappeared or NEVER SHOWED UP... There are front desk employees that try to and succeed at selling "out of order" rooms..by the hour when they work overnight...they use horribly foul language..saying "f" this and that...and "Thinking in thier heads that they are being funny or cool" in front of my son..My wife..every employee but 1 front desk person who has proved utterly trustworthy...and stands behind us all the way but will back us if need be..but may need to anonymously..until he gets other employment..we can't have our room fixed..BECSUSE THE MAINTENANCE MAN ISNT ALLOWED IN OUR ROOM! So we are so screwed in ANY way you look at it... If we get our points returned..which is around 35, 111 points approximately..and we have invested a total of..$2, 723.00 just in the last 32 days here..no housekeeping, no service, just threats, phone calls, illegal letters, and tripled rates, danger, a mangled room, $10.00 to do a load of wash, no "free" waters, no fresh coffee unless we make it ourselves because the employees are nodding out at the desk while checking people in and out and giving them incorrect keys to thier rooms, we've had cash stolen by employees who demanded "long sleeved shirts" in warm weather...to cover tract marks..we we're robbed twice by here if $172.00, and then $60.00 because our rate was 59.39 at that given time..and the other 3 nights for the $172.00 which was already paid in cash, then my wife's credit card for charged...then she took $172.00 from me again insisting if it wasn't paid we had to check out and call a manager in the morning..those nights were for $59, $57, & $57..and we were not even in our room those 3 days because my wife ended up hospitalized with an infection through her blood and kidneys and had 9 seizures in 2 days WELL..surprise! THAT YOUNG LADY WAS CAUGHT STEALING OUR MONEY AFTER WE WERE TREATED LIKE THE THIEVES AND DIDNT PAY..WERE THREATENED TO BE PUT OUT BECAUSE SHE HAD US DOWN AS NOT PAYING...AND SHE NEVER SAW ME BUT ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS WATCH THE CAMERA..AND ALSO..LOOK AT THE PAPER I HAD FROM HER! IF I WAS NEVER IN THE OFFICE HOW DID I KNOW SHE WAS THERE!? HOW DID SHE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WAS MISSING? AND WHAT WAS GONE OF OURS..WAS EXACTLY WHAT THE DRAWER WAS SHORT BOTH TIMES! BUT ONCE SHE GOT BUSTED..AND THEN ARRESTED FOR HAVING 8 BUNDLES OF "ILLICITDRUGS" ON HER..SHE WENT TO JAIL AND NEVER CAME BACK!..SHE ADMITTED TO SOMEONE ELSE THAT SHE STOLE OUR MONEY..BRAGGED ABOUT HOW TO DO IT..AND THEY RATTED HER OUT TO US, THANK GOD! What upsets Me and is causing my whole life to be up in arms and grief stricken right now, is that the STRESS and the HEALTH hazards have caused these relapses to happen weekly now to my wife, and my son has an autoimmune disease as well..and he is also disabled, so he gets teased and taken advantage of..and told things like, "Your Mom and Dad could pay for their room if they sold your medications"...WHAT?%%!**##$$?! HOW THE HELL DOES ANY GUESTS KNOW MY SONS MEDICATIONS..UNLESS THEY DRILLED HIM..BECAUSE HE (HAS) TO KNOW THEM FOR SAFETY REASONS..! Unfreakingbelievable! Right!? People have tried to give him other things before because it must be "funny" but it's child abuse and endangerment from other people! (Thats exactly why I had to leave where my family was at my parents..because the same exact thing was going on..and a dyfs case got opened again my stepfather towards my son for abuse and threats and endangering the welfare of a child who is disabled..which made it worse!)...AND my son should be able to walk downstairs to get some fresh air..talk to one of his buddies that comes and goes here at times..and walk his service dog..nope...because he's a big boy from medication and illness side effects...he used to walk around and visit and say hi to the other "residents" here who we got to know pretty well...and sadly..some of them really did harm to him. My wife can't be EVERYWHERE every second..and even in the office for God's sake, one of the "so called General managers" who just sits in a chair with a cane insulting my wife any chance he gets..(we are paying guests mind you) AND destroys people's Integrity, tears down their Confidence, and talks to some of us like total garbage and human waste..and crossed boundaries that I would NEVER THINK TO DO TO ANOTHER PERSON LET ALONE A MOTHER!...MY wife was told by him that, "SHE needs to address the issues of anger between father and son, that SHE needs to parent HER CHILD a specific way..stop babying him..but stop putting demands on him..and the "parent" always has the final say...period..!"..I mean...look..I could go on for weeks and turn stomachs of steel...but I'm exhausted...AND I need to FORWARD this EVERYWHERE! Directing us back to the desk here..or office or owner...will just cause so many more frightening and unpredictable problems for us the remaining time we HAVE to be here because there is NOWHERE for us to go for another 3 weeks at least...with a sick wife, disabled son, service dog that's an 89 lb chocolate lab, and myself..along with our routine, a schedule of meds, Drs, medical pick up transportation..and dyfs is aware we are here..that we will be attempting to stay here until we can move into our home, but if we leave we are totally homeless because my son's SSI makes things difficult for any emergency housing or help...I've never seen such hurdles and boundaries and obstacles to cross for myself...when it's so easy for everyone to inappropriately and simply cross mine and my families over and over in the most horrifying ways...I'm speechless and have a million things to still out out there at the same time. I hope to God my time doing this was not in vain..my family deserves justice of some type..courtesy, care, and to feel contentment, security, and safety for once for a place I am paying to be at every single day...and that has cost me every penny we have ... $17, 787.00 to date...August 1, 2018.. That's a whole car, more than a home down payment, and more than a year's worth of rent at $1200.00/ mtg for an entire home..we've suffered enough..if I can post pictures or send them..i surely will..hopefully Redroof Or Redicard or Guest Relations will take care of SOMETHING TODAY at least by just acknowledging that we are living, breathing, human beings that are ONE of the reasons that this hotel alone is still in business...and with everything we have evidence of..pictures of..texts of..letters of..and videos of...every receipt, every...single..thing that someone rightminded who has been on such a tight budget now this month and last that my wife and I have gone days without food just to make sure our son does NOT GO WITHOUT! But we are actually starving eating crackers and jelly from Wawa...cause they are free... Would anyone like to respond to this beautiful statement of horror that I've had to dig deep to find the courage for to even being anything to light...because..IM NOT THAT GUY... The guy who gets you back..not vengeful or hateful or threatening..I'm down to 138 lbs and I'm 5'11"...from being..HERE. HELP! To date..we have put $17, 787.00 into being here..with the only service we get is coming from ourselves..i will give credit to 3 certain employees who deserve it..but I'm also not going to publicize thier names or positions..but they are out ONLY salvation!

Red Roof Inn hotel reservation at rri202

I used Hotels.com to book a reservation at this Red Roof inn in Minneapolis which I paid for in advance on their site and received confirmation of it. Then the next day I received a letter of cancellation for the room that I was told I requested.

I followed up with the Hotel directly who told me that my credit card was declined. I explained that I had made the reservation through Hotels.com and paid there so there should be no charge.

I got a very rude response that it doesn't matter where I book they are going to charge my card as well. What type of scam is this? I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general for this attempted fraudulent charge if not resolved
