Red Roof Innssmell of the room and that I got charged for it

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn on August 23 2018. The hotel was on Wilde road Pensacola Florida. We arrived at 4:30 pm after spending 12 hours on the road. The receptions was very nice and check in was very quick. However when we went to our rooms the one room smelled like wet dog and smoke. I went to talk to the receptionist and was told that there were no more rooms available. So we decided to just deal with it since we were so tired. Checked out the next morning and after arriving home 8 hours later my daughter in law received a call from the manager (TJ) that here room smelled like smoke so he was charging us another 250.00. This was the same roomed that we had complained about when we check in. It took over a week to get back in touch with TJ because it seems that he either doesn't work a lot or he doesn't want to talk to customers that he has cheated out of money. I will never stay at another Red Roof Inn and I will make sure to spread the word about your dishonest pratices.

    I just had an incident like that happen at a Red Roof Inn in Kentucky. Only I got no notification from a manager that they were charging me it just showed up on my bill one day. Since then I filed a complaint with Red Roof Inn corporate headquarters the Better Business Bureau and dispute of the charges with my bank I've also been leaving negative reviews on every travel website that I can find
